New Zealand overcame Ireland 38-18 on Saturday after conceding an early try to win the third leg of their grand slam tour at the Aviva Stadium.

Tries to forwards Kieran Read and Sam Whitelock in the opening eight minutes of the second half extinguished Irish hopes of recording a first win over the All Blacks after flanker Stephen Ferris had scored to give them the lead.

Each of the All Blacks' tries were scored by forwards with lock Anthony Boric barging over the line on the stroke of halftime and Read adding another in the final minute.

New Zealand will attempt to clinch their third grand slam in five years against Wales at the Millennium Stadium next Saturday.
