Fanara suffers shoulder injury
Frenchman Thomas Fanara will be out for three weeks with a shoulder injury suffered in the World Cup giant slalom in Bansko.
The 30-year-old giant slalom specialist was hurt after a fall on Saturday and has been told "he must observe a complete break in activity for three weeks" by the French Ski Federation.
"He has suffered a dislocation of the lower humeral head of his left arm," the FFS added.
He will miss Sunday’s race at Crans-Montana in Switzerland and is a doubt for Kranjska Gora in Slovenia on March 11.
Fanara is 11th in the giant slalom standings and 50th in the overall World Cup Alpine skiing standings.
