Top seed Agnieszka Radwanska lost just a single game as she destroyed Lesia Tsurenko of Ukraine 6-1 6-0 in their second-round match at WTA Brussels.

Agnieszka Radwanska Stuttgart - 0

The Pole was utterly belligerent and unerring as she powered past her opponent with the utmost ease, leaving Tsurenko shell-shocked.

The Ukrainian mustered just a single game in the opening set as she floundered behind the baseline and lacked any conviction on serve.

It got worse for Tsurenko in the second set as Radwanska was relentless from the back of the court and the Pole bagelled her despondent opponent.

Radwanska will next take on Alison van Uytvanck of Belgium after she recovered from a set down to beat Chanelle Scheepers of South Africa 4-6 6-4 6-2.

It was a torrid day for second seed Marion Bartoli, who suffered a chastening 6-2 6-2 defeat to Urszula Radwanska.

Bartoli was unable to get any rhythm on her serve and looked entirely out of sorts against the Pole, who will next face Sofia Arvidsson of Sweden.

Arvidsson progressed after Arantxa Rus of the Netherlands was forced to retire with a back injury.

Eighth seed Kaia Kanepi also progressed with a comfortable victory as she beat Bojana Jovanovski 6-2 6-2.

The Estonian was unwavering on serve and her Serbian opponent was never allowed to get a foothold in the match.

Nadia Petrova, the 10th seed, was dumped out of the tournament as Tsvetana Pironkova progressed at her expense with a 6-3 6-2 win and will next take on Kanepi.

Simona Halep of Romania beat compatriot Monica Niculescu 6-1 6-1, with Dominika Cibulkova - who beat Yanina Wickmayer 6-3 6-4 - awaiting in the quarter-finals.
