Easter Monday's papers are not exactly bursting with transfer stories, so Paper Round's eyes were instead drawn to page three of the Sun, and no, not because of Emily, 21, from Warrington.

Instead, there is another story that leads you to question the sanity of Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, who it would appear, is having as much trouble with his car as he does with putting on a bib (You Tube 'Mario Balotelli bib' NOW if you are unaware of what this refers to)

The Sun claims that since signing for City last summer, Balotelli has had his luxury Maserati car impounded an astonishing 27 times.

The paper adds that the Italian has also received an average of three parking tickets A DAY, which has seen him notch up "nearly £10,000" in parking fines.

A source at the club told the paper: "Mario will drive from his luxury apartment to a restaurant a few streets away and leave the car on double yellows.

"The other week the Maserati misfired so he just abandoned it. Staff have had to bail it out 27 times.

"The valet the club uses empties the glovebox of tickets every time he cleans it. Mario doesn't seem to care. It's a drop in the ocean to him.

"Mario was pulled over by the police and he had £25,000 cash on the passenger seat. They asked him why and he said, 'Because I can'. He doesn't care much for authority."

Balotelli, still only 20 yet on a reported £100,000-a-week, was also fined £300,000 earlier this year for throwing darts at a youth team player because he was "bored."

The Sun also has the most significant transfer rumour of the day, as they claim that Liverpool will sell Joe Cole in the summer.

The former Chelsea man has never really settled at Anfield since his free transfer move in the summer, and West Ham or Tottenham could be interested in bringing him back to London; although Paper Round is sceptical that either side would be willing to pay the £10m that Liverpool are said to want for him.

Aston Villa defender Carlos Cuellar, who has made only 12 Premier League appearances this season, could be set for a return to his native Spain, with Espanyol keen to sign him according to the Mirror.

The same paper claims that Birmingham midfielder Sebastian Larsson is a target for local rivals Newcastle and Sunderland.

Finally a couple of notes from the Championship; Derby are keen to sign Blackburn's England U21 keeper Frank Fielding for £500,000 in the summer; while Crystal Palace's Neil Dannes is likely to join Hull City on a free at the end of the season after rejecting a new contract at Selhurst Park.
