Chapman takes Seniors win
Englishman Roger Chapman won the Senior PGA Championship by holding on to a two-shot lead to finish 13 under in Benton Harbour, Michigan.
Having led by five strokes going into Sunday’s final round, Chapman was comfortable even though he shot his worst score of the week with a one-over 72 that included three bogeys in his last five holes.
It was Chapman’s first win on the Champions Tour.
John Cook came second at 11 under after posting a 69, while Hale Irwin’s 68 put him a stroke back in third.
A tournament record of 62 for Kenny Perry was only enough for him to finish ninth, five shots off the lead.
