Bundesliga - Farfan focused on Schalke
Roma target Jefferson Farfan has yet to be contacted by any club in relation to a summer move away from Schalke, according to his agent.
A host of European clubs – including Serie A-leaders AC Milan - have been linked with a move for the Peruvian winger, but the player’s agent Raul Gonzalez insists that Schalke remains Farfan’s top priority.
"I have heard the rumours that link Jefferson to Roma,” Gonzalez told Calciomercatoweb, “but nobody from the team has got in touch with me.”
"On the other hand, Jefferson is under contract at Schalke until 2015 so if there is really a team interested in him they will first have to get in touch with the officials of Schalke and then after that they could have a conversation with us.
"The priority of Jefferson is to stay in Germany and then renew or extend his contract."
Farfan joined Schalke from PSV in 2008 for a reported €10million, and has been instrumental in the Bundesliga side’s impressive run to the Champions League semi-finals this season.
