England women held back by rain

England's women were denied the chance to wrap up victory in the Twenty20 series in South Africa after rain forced the match to be abandoned at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom.

Off-spinner Laura Marsh claimed three wickets for 19 runs as England restricted South Africa to 110 for seven after the hosts elected to bat.

England reached 15 without loss in the third over when the heavens opened and forced a no-result.

The third and final game of the series will be played at the same venue on Sunday.
