Jo-Wilfried Tsonga said on Saturday he will not hesitate to pull out of France's Davis Cup final against Serbia if necessary after feeling pain in his knee.
Tsonga, the French number one, experienced problems with his left knee in a 6-7 6-2 4-6 semi-final defeat to compatriot Gael Monfils at the Open Sud de France on Saturday.
"I felt something at the beginning of the match," Tsonga told reporters.
"I do not have the pretension to beat Novak Djokovic or Viktor Troicki in Belgrade if I have not done anything for three weeks."
Tsonga will assess the injury in medical checks early next week in Paris.
The Davis Cup final will be held in Belgrade from Dec. 3-5.
