Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and teammates head to Vegas after Kentucky Derby

It's good to be a New England Patriot.

Hours after landing in Louisville to attend Saturday's Kentucky Derby festivities, Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola hopped on a charter jet to head about 2,000 miles west to Las Vegas and the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather fight.

Edelman tweeted a picture of the trio of world champions en route ...

... while Gronkowski filed a spirited video informing fans of his plans for the night to Bleacher Report ...

Judging from the cash that Gronk is flashing in that video, it looks like drinks in the club are on him.

While Tom Brady wasn't picture in any of the social media posts on the plane, he surfaced in Vegas and was interviewed ringside by Jim Gray before the fight.

At any rate, these Patriots weren't the only ones trying to hit both the race and the same day. The Washington Post ran a story on Saturday about other well-heeled sports fans attempting to do the same thing. What a day.
