Is this the greatest goal ever scored by a keeper?

Early Doors

Spanish side Alcudia rescued a hugely dramatic 1-1 draw in the dying seconds against Mallorca B on Sunday courtesy of an incredible overhead kick by goalkeeper Tolo Barcelo.

It is a stunning goal on any level, but particularly for a goalkeeper. ED is sure that you will agree the celebrations are pretty special too.

Peter Schmeichel, Paul Robinson and Brad Friedel all netted fine goals in Premier League matches of yesteryear, but were they even close to being as good as our unknown friend from Spain?

The defenders and opposing goalkeeper were left staring into space as Barcelo embarked on a routine that suggested he is wasted between the sticks.

Only last week, Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic managed to lift a wind-assisted clearance over his Southampton counterpart Artur Boruc in a 1-1 draw at the Britannia Stadium.

Boruc himself has been keeping them out this season with some regularity in Southampton's rise to third spot in the Premier League standings, but has shown he can also deliver at the other end.

Check out this little effort from him on the volley during a training session with Poland.

What is your favourite goal scored by a goalkeeper? Was it better than Barcelo's brilliance in the video? Leave your thoughts below...
