Injury Report: Gameweek 38

Ahead of the final weekend of the season, with issues at both the top and bottom of the table still to be decided, teams in the Premier League are enjoying contrasting fortunes.

Leaders Manchester City have posted a clean bill of health among their squad ahead of their home clash against QPR, while title rivals Manchester United have fitness doubts over defensive trio Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling.

In the race for the Champions League, third-placed Arsenal will be without right-back Bacary Sagna - who sustained a broken leg last weekend that has ruled him out of Euro 2012 —and fourth-placed Tottenham are without left-backs Benoit Assou-Ekotto through injury and Danny Rose through suspension. However, fifth-placed Newcastle United have no new absentees to report.

As for the fight to avoid the final relegation place, Bolton will be without David Wheater when they visit Stoke after the defender ruptured cruciate knee ligaments earlier this week while QPR must wait to see if influential midfielder Samba Diakite will recover from illness in time for the decisive trip to Manchester City.
