Mike Trout hits grand slam into fan-made 'Trout net'

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is amazing. With that in mind, it's no surprise that he reminded us of Babe Ruth on Sunday.

Remember the story about how Ruth called his shot, well, this is kind of like that. In the sixth inning, Trout stepped to the plate with the bases loaded. On the eighth pitch of the at-bat, Trout belted a 93 mph fastball out to center field for the grand slam.

Trout didn't exactly point to the stands and call his shot, but his aim was pretty impressive. Trout's grand slam actually wound up landing in a fan's homemade "Trout net." The "net" was about as wide as a single seat, so that gives you an idea of just how unlikely it was that this would ever happen.

Now, some of you are going to be skeptics and say things like, "Trout didn't call his shot, and it's just an incredible stroke of luck that he was able to hit it to this exact location."

Normally, we might agree. But in Trout's case, we've learned to just accept that he's capable of superhuman feats.
