Mad Dash: Man selling Silverdome urinal signed by Barry Sanders

Superstar athletes are asked to sign everything from body parts to artificial limbs, and often become unfazed by even the strangest items handed to them in signing lines. When it was announced in March that items from the Silverdome, the former home of the Detroit Lions, would be auctioned off to fans, former Lions great Barry Sanders made it clear that he wouldn't be signing any urinals. But one fan decided to see how serious Sanders was about the tweet, and after initially refusing, Sanders laughed and signed anyway. It's a great story to go with a one-of-a-kind, albeit really weird, piece of memorabilia now up for auction on eBay. The urinal has surprisingly recieved 17 bids, and at the time of publishing, the price is up to $1,045.20 and, get this, the reserve has not yet been met. We're not sure what would possess anyone to buy the thing, or why the seller thinks it's worth even more than is currently being offered, but there always seems to be someone with too much money and just enough crazy to buy strange sports items like this.

We turn from the completely strange to the completely awesome, with the Cleveland Browns making a young fan's dream come true on Tuesday. Dylan Sutcliffe is a 9-year-old with a rare genetic disorder who just also happens to be obsessed with the Browns. Make-A-Wish and the team partnered up to give Sutcliffe an amazing day, signing him to a one-day contract and giving him the full experience of being a part of the team for a day.

The summer stretch between spring football and the start of the college season can be pretty low key, so Texas head football coach Charlie Strong brought his pets to the office on Tuesday. Just a couple tiger cubs, no big deal. Linebacker Dalton Santos tweeted out a fantastic picture of Strong with his feet propped up on a table with the little jungle cats wrestling on the floor below him. It is a spectacular image.
