Ben Bishop flubs glove save on Max Pacioretty goal (Video)

MONTREAL, QC - MAY 01: Lars Eller #81 of the Montreal Canadiens watches the rebound left by goaltender Ben Bishop #30 of the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game One of the Eastern Conference Semifinals during the 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at the Bell Centre on May 1, 2015 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. There are times you just want, need, have to have a goal back. Ben Bishop of the Tampa Bay Lightning has to feel horrible at this one, which tied Tampa’s Game 1 contest against the Canadiens at the 14:47 mark of the third period.

Behold the goal off a shot by the awesome Max 67 (Pacioretty).

Flubbed glove saves deserve their place in goaltending wall of shames. They’re the total antithesis of beautiful glove saves, which always look so nice.

And to make it even worse, the game went into overtime, so that ended up being the game-tying goal in a contest where Tampa, and Bishop, were cruising.
