Blackhawks sing, cheer, soak in champagne in Stanley Cup winning video

Ever want to know what it’s like to win the Stanley Cup? Seems pretty cool according to this 'LiveWire' video of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final provided by the NHL that includes ‘all-access’ sound – PG rated of course. Spoiler alert, the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Tampa Bay Lightning.

From the referees getting psyched up at the beginning of the video to the end watching the Blackhawks sing “We are the Champions” by Queen – this behind-the-scenes look is phenomenal. Also, Andrew Shaw is smoking a cigar. If there was one player on the Hawks you thought would be smoking a stogie after winning the Cup …

The most heartwarming scene predictably was Chicago captain Jonathan Toews handing Kimmo Timonen his first Cup.

“Come here Kimmo! come get it baby!” he yells. Then after Timonen takes the Cup, there’s that neat moment where the veteran goes for a skate with it at Toews’ urging.

One of the funnier spots? When defenseman Duncan Keith walks into the locker room. Forward Brad Richards is there – a Conn Smythe Trophy winner from 2004. Keith had won his first Conn and Richards goes, “You finally joined a good club."

As for other interesting tidbits – the NHL shows Steven Stamkos clanking iron and his missed breakaway. Sorry Lightning fans.
