Two hat-trick heroes lead the line in our European Team of the Week, and you may recognise their names.

A certain Cristiano Ronaldo takes his place having banged in three goals for Real Madrid against Real Sociedad, taking his league tally to a barely believable 16 in 13 games this season.

With rival Lionel Messi sidelined for up to eight weeks, top scoring honours in La Liga look to be Ronaldo's for the taking.

Alongside the Portuguese star is PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who also claimed three goals as the French club beat Nice 3-1.

Our all-star forward line is backed up by a brilliant midfield, with Barcelona contributing Cesc Fabregas, who scored twice and got an assist against Real Betis, and Bayern Munich represented by Franck Ribery, who scored against Augsburg.

Liverpool contribute two players to the back four after seeing off Fulham 4-0.
