Christmas Day Eurosport Quiz of the Year

How well can you remember 2014 in sports?

2014 was a pretty memorable year in sports.

But do you think you could recall much of it when put on the spot?

Here's the ultimate way to find out, using the well-known BBC quiz formula from 'Pointless'.

100 people were each given 100 seconds to give as many answers as they could to the questions below.

For each question, you should think of just one answer - but your aim is to find the most obscure correct answer possible.

The number of points you earn is decided by how many of the 100 people have previously given the same answer.

If you are right but used a very common answer, you score more points. An incorrect answer gets 20 points. You'll want to finish with the lowest score possible.

Correct answers that score no points are known as "Pointless" answers for which you were aiming.

If 1-9 people gave the same answer as you then you score 1 point, if 10-19 people give the same answer as you then you earn 2 points and so on with 90-99 people meaning 10 points.

The number next to each answer is the number of points you receive if that was your pick. An incorrect answer is awarded 20 points.

Remember - you want as few points as possible!

So, grab a pen and paper or open up a notepad app on your phone and get ready to put forth your answers. Then, use the show/hide buttons to reveal what your answers were worth.
