Deportivo Quito star Walter Calderon scored a goal with a brilliant improvised finish against LDU Quito.
The derby match in the Ecuadorian capital was poised at 0-1 when Calderon struck shortly after the break.
His first touch looped the ball awkwardly into the air as he fell, but he did not let it stop him from scrambling around on the floor and hooking the ball into the far corner on the volley with pinpoint accuracy.
Although LDU pulled one back, Deportivo went on to win the game 3-1, and keep pace with Emelec, who top the Ecuadorian Primera A standings.
