Tennis fans have once again been disgruntled by the incredible number of grunts let out by top female tennis stars at Wimbledon - but one broadcaster has come up with a novel solution to the problem.
The BBC have released an experimental online radio player which allows fans to turn down players' grunts for all matches on centre court.
Listeners to Radio Five will be able to use the 'NetMix' player to change the relative volume of commentary and on-court noises for the final few matches at Centre Court this summer.
The down side is that the technology is not yet capable of distinguishing the grunts from the noise of ball on racquet or the atmospheric cheering of the crowd - but no doubt those who believe that the likes of Maria Sharapova should be seen and not heard will be delighted to be able to follow the matches in peace.
Of course, an even better solution is to follow the live text commentary from every match at Wimbledon right here at Eurosport-Yahoo!
