A martial artist wowed spectators in Japan – but not with her ceremonial baseball pitch that dropped a little shy of the intended target.

Rina Takeda, who has starred in films such as 'High Kick Girl!,' 'Karate Girl' and 'Dead Sushi’ managed to smash 10 concrete blocks with her head, a gif of which can be seen below:

The real reason Takeda was there, though, was to send down the ceremonial pitch ahead of the clash between "Sonny" Chiba Lotte Marines and Seibu Lions played on Sunday in Japan.

Her pitch, however, was less successful.

In fairness, although the pitch was pretty poor, we would not feel brave enough to tell her considering the damage she did to those blocks.
