Wayne Rooney has been showing off his latest haircut after having a top up hair transplant.

The Manchester United first started treatment for his hereditary baldness in 2011 but a second procedure is needed to cover up new bald spots.

Rooney posted a picture on Twitter of him and wife Coleen attending a Rihanna concert in Manchester.

Rooney's original hair transplant cost £15,000 and he underwent the treatment at London’s Harley Street Hair Clinic.

He said at the time: "Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 why not. I'm delighted with the result."
