    Time:90'
    • Algeria
    • Ivory Coast
    • 90+5' And it is all over! 2-2 here, 1-1 between Tunisia and Togo, who qualify for the last eight behind Ivory Coast. Thanks for joining us.
    • 90+4' Chance for Drogba to win it for Ivory Coast, but he can't get the pace on the shot. M'Bohli makes the save.
    • 90+3' Tedjar - on for Lemmouchia - thumps a long-range effort a couple of yards over the bar. Plenty of pace on that effort if not quite the direction.
    • 90+2' Abdul Razak is going to depart the scene to be replaced by Didier Zokora for these closing moments.
    • 89' We are into five minutes of time added on.
    • 88' Eboue is down on the deck here and in need of some treatment. Suggesting that he got a whack in the face.
    • 87' Emmanuel Eboué has replaced Lolo for Ivory Coast.
    • 86' Fakhreddine Ben Youssef replaces Mejdi Traoui for Algeria.
    • 85' If Tunisia don't make it alongside Ivory Coast, there will be no North African sides left in this tournament.
    • 84' Drogba moves onto 11 goals in all his outings in the African Cup of Nations. Impressive stats by any standard.
    • 83' Both teams throwing caution to the wind in this contest. One more goal either way will surely seal the deal.
    • 82' Tension building in the the Togo v Tunisia match at 1-1, but life in this match yet as Slimani knocks a free shot wide of goal. That could and should have been 3-2 Algeria.
    • 81' Kolo Toure with a vital challenge in the middle of the Ivory Coast box to prevent Slimani from getting a free header at goal.
    • 80' Algeria react by wheeling on Kadir with Soudani given the hook.
    • 79' GOAL! Wilfried Bony drives the ball into the net. Deflected shot and suddenly this match is all square at 2-2. Would you believe this?
    • 78' Ivory Coast suddenly sensing an equaliser as they earn a corner. Konan with a poor delivery. All too easy for M'Bohli to come and collect.
    • 77' 2-1 to Algeria now. Meanwhile, Tunisia hit the post against Togo from their penalty. That matchs remains locked at 1-1.
    • 76' GOAL! Drogba rises to power a header into the net. Brilliant finish. Think that came from a long ball from the back by Kolo Toure.
    • 75' Lolo works his way into the Algeria area before his effort at goal is charged down by a posse of white shirts.
    • 74' Meanwhile, Tunisia have been awarded a penalty in the other match in Group D on that awful pitch of sand. Togo protesting furiously.
    • 73' Boys have the stretcher on. Not sure if he needs that. Probably winded more than anything else.
    • 72' Abdul Razak with a clear body check on Soudani. He is going to need some treatment here. Little wonder.
    • 71' Igor Lolo with a strong surging run into the Algeria box, but a white shirt wallops the ball clear.
    • 70' Ivory Coast won't be too disappointed with this result. Perhaps expecting a bit more from Didier Drogba this evening.
    • 69' The Algerian fans in party mood. Surely destined for three points now unless they stage a major collapse. I think the cross came in from Feghouli for the goal.
    • 68' GOAL! Ismael Traore rises unmarked to head into the net and that should be game, set and match. Lovely break by Algeria. They lead 2-0.
    • 67' Ya Konan with a second corner in quick succession, but Ismael Traore can only head over the bar.
    • 66' Algeria earn a throw-in deep in the Ivory Coast half. Ivory Coast quick to hit on the break as a run from Kone brings a corner.
    • 65' Algeria lead 1-0 against Ivory Coast. Would be a good way to bow out of what has been a disappointing tournament, but work yet to be done.
    • 64' GOAL! Ferghouli slams the ball high into the net. Yeboah guessed correctly, but had no hope of eaching that penalty as the ball arrowed into his right hand corner.
    • 63' PENALTY TO ALGERIA! A second penalty of the game for Algeria. Clear handball by Boka. Surely this is going to be the moment for Algeria.
    • 62' Off goes the impressive Boudebouz to be replaced by Feghouli. Can he score Algeria's first goal of this tournament? Or is that a fanciful suggestion?
    • 61' Algeria denied what looked like a corner there. And that is set to prompt a change here.
    • 60' If you can't take any more of this tension-packed dead rubber, you can join our erudite African football commentator Reda Maher for the last 30 minutes or so of Togo against Tunisia in the meaningful match of the evening. • 59' Slimani wallops a shot wide of goal from distance. Worth the effort, but was off balance when he struck that shot.
    • 58' We remain at 1-1 in the other match in the section between Togo and Tunisia. That result would be enough to carry Togo into the last eight alongside Ivory Coast.
    • 57' Igor Lolo on the dash out wide, but can't keep the ball in play. Difficult to say with any great certainty how this dead rubber is going to work out.
    • 56' Lacen taken out late by Boka. No bookings. The referee seems hesitant to produce the book for some reason this evening.
    • 55' Free-kick comes to nothing as the ball is charged down by the Ivory Coast wall. More disappointment for Algeria.
    • 54' Yeboah carries the ball outside of his box and has been righly penalised for that spot of careless play.
    • 53' Guedioura decides to uncork a shot from 25 yards. Leaning back and the ball flies well over the bar.
    • 52' Drogba slams the free-kick inches wide of goal. Not the best of hits, but almost trundled into a bottom corner.
    • 51' Belkalem barges Drogba in the box and that is a free-kick to Ivory Coast 30 yards from goal.
    • 50' Ball breaks to Belkalem, but he directs his free header straight into the arms of Yeboah. What a chance that is. Should have been 1-0 to Algeria.
    • 49' Igor Lolo is late on Soudani and that will be a free-kick chance to Algeria wide on the right of Ivory Coast area.
    • 48' Drogba looks to be moving freely after he appeared to get his toe trampled on before half-time. Spot of play-acting one suspects.
    • 47' Ya Konan has replaced Romaric at the break for Ivory Coast. Could be one of several changes in this second period.
    • 46' Players back out then for the second half. And off we go.
    • 45+1' There goes the whistle for the break! 0-0 at half-time between Algeria and Ivory Coast. All to play for in the second period of what has been a watchable enough contest.
    • 45' Slight contact on the inside of his left peg. Drogba continues to receive treatment, but looks perfectly fit to resume action. One minute added to the half.
    • 44' Drogba is on the ground here. Not sure what is wrong with him. Looked to be a clear dive by the forward. Guedioura never touched him.
    • 43' Mostefa tugs back Kone. Boka with the free-kick, but headed out of the danger area by Mostefa. All a bit like Groundhog Day.
    • 42' Free-kick chance here for Algeria. Boudebouz with the cross, but an offside flag goes up to render another Algeria attack meaningless.
    • 41' Drogba cutting a frustrated figure after that effort fails to trouble M'Bohli. Expect better from a figure of his obvious quality.
    • 40' Kalou lays the ball off to Drogba, but the finish is not there as the big man lifts the shot miles over the bar.
    • 39' Soudani thumps in an effort from 30 yards or so, but straight down the throat of Yeboah, who makes the stop with some ease.
    • 38' Vahid Halilhodzic continues to pace the touchline with some real intensity. Pretty lamentable situation to be in after two games of this section.
    • 37' Bony with a traditional toe poke. Straight into the arms of Mbolhi in the Algeria goal.
    • 36' Yeboah comes a long way off his line. Fumbles the ball under pressure from Kolo Toure, but the keeper earns a free-kick after bumping into Slimani.
    • 35' Mesbah then working back to make the block on Kalou as he attempted to hurl in a cross.
    • 34' Mesbah takes up a decent position out wide. Far too much air under the cross for Yeboah to claim the ball unchallenged.
    • 33' Wonder if any Premier League sides will be watching this match tonight? Still the chance of getting a deal or two done before the window closes.
    • 32' Boudebouz looking very lively so far in this contest as he thumps a shot over the bar from distance. Plenty of power on that without the direction.
    • 31' Remember you can follow all the action in that match LIVE with Reda Maher. Togo v Tunisia | Live | Score | African Cup of Nations 2013 - Yahoo Eurosport UK
    • 30' Now 1-1 in the match between Togo and Tunisia in the other match in the section.
    • 29' Soudani fires a shot across the face of the Ivory Coast goal. Not too sure what Yeboah was doing there. The goalkeeper looking very unsure.
    • 28' For a meaningless match, this hasn't been bad at all. Mesbah with a late tackle on Kalou.
    • 27' Soudani is down on the deck after colliding with Igor Lolo in the air. No intent there from the Ivory Coast player.
    • 26' Drogba inches wide of the target. Lovely free-kick. So close with Mbolhi well and truly rooted to the goalline.
    • 25' Lacen stands on Drogba's toe. And that is a free-kick which Drogba may well take. Lacen has been booked for his challenge.
    • 24' Or who knows? Some may stay on to support Ivory Coast in the latter stages. The Group D winners continue to look the likelier side here.
    • 23' The Algerian fans in the smallish crowd seem happy enough with their lot despite being consigned to a plane home after tonight.
    • 22' Kolo Toure just fails to pick out Drogba with a long, hopeful ball.
    • 21' Togo holding a 1-0 lead over Tunisia in the other Group D match as they bid to join Ivory Coast in the last eight.
    • 20' Yeboah spills a cross ball, but gets away with it as he snares possession at the second attempt.
    • 19' Both teams getting the ball on the deck and rolling it around. Some nice stuff for a dead rubber. Teams obviously relaxed with their lot.
    • 18' Kalou throws in a corner at pace. Mbolhi is quickly off his line. Manages to get a vital touch to nudge the loose ball away from danger.
    • 17' Belkalem across to block the effort by Kalou. Should have hit that earlier. Corner to Ivory Coast.
    • 16' Great ball in by Boudebouz at pace. Yeboah comes off his line at pace, but misses the ball as it finally drops to safety. Ivory Coast fortunate to survive that moment.
    • 15' Probably less than 10,000 fans in this stadium that can hold over 40,000.
    • 14' Romaric with a long ball. Comes off the back of Drogba's head. Falls to Kalou who lifts the shot miles over the bar. Poor finish.
    • 13' Mesbah with a late challenge on Kone. Romaric then throws in a free-kick, but far too much pace on the delivery as Mbolhi clasps the loose ball.
    • 12' Halliche rises to nod away the cross from Drogba before Mostefa does likewise to deal with Romaric's corner.
    • 11' Boudebouz taken out of the action late by Boka. A pretty awful tackle, but somehow the referee opts against producing the yellow card. Strange call.
    • 10' Vahid Halilhodzic looks on from the side. Must be wondering what his Algeria side have to do to score at these finals.
    • 9' Yeboah off his line to collect the cross from Mesbah. Easy, easy take for him. And we continue at 0-0 here.
    • 8' Confident penalty, but lacked the direction. Yeboah was well beaten, but his goal remains intact. Wretched stuff for Algeria.
    • 7' Boudebouz misses the penalty! The ball comes back off a post before racing to safety. Algeria remain without a goal in their past four matches.
    • 6' PENALTY TO ALGERIA! Ismael Traore brings down Hilal Soudani and that is a spok-kick to the pointless Algeria. Clear foul just inside the area.
    • 5' Razak slams a long ranger at target from distance, but Mbolhi is well positioned to make the save. All too easy.
    • 4' On paper, this is the match between the two top ranked sides in Africa. But in reality this is a dead rubber. Algeria have been penalised for failing to score in this tournament.
    • 3' Boudebouz showing some decent skills on the ball out wide before he is crowded out of the action by a posse of orange shirts.
    • 2' Not exactly a full house in for this match as Kalou just fails to keep the ball in play out wide.
    • 1' We are off and running then in this final match of the section.
    • 16:55 You can of course follow LIVE updates from the game that has a bit more life in it today as Reda Maher brings you the action from the Mbombela Stadium as Togo and Tunisia battle to join Ivory Coast in the last eight of the tournament. • 16:50 New Galatasaray forward Drogba has no problems about being used in a squad rotation system. "There is no issue with me being benched," he said. "And do not try and make a big deal out of it."
    • 16:45 Ivory Coast make several changes from their 3-0 win over Tunisia in their previous outing on Saturday but include Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou from the start. Algeria have no fresh injury concerns from their loss to Togo and shuffle their pack as they prepare to bow out of this year's tournament.
    • 16:40 Both of these teams have little to play for but pride. Ivory Coast are already through as Group D winners after beating Togo and Tunisia while Algeria are on their way home after this match having lost twice to the same opponents. Ivory Coast will top the group whatever happens in the other match between Togo and Tunisia because the group placings are settled on head-to-head results rather than goal difference.
    • 16:40 The referee is Eric Otogo-Castane of Gabon.
    • 16:35 Ivory Coast: 16-Daniel Yeboah; 3-Arthur Boka, 4-Kolo Toure, 14-Ismael Traore, 20-Igor Lolo; 6-Romaric, 7-Abdul Razak; 8-Salomon Kalou, 11-Didier Drogba, 2-Arouna Kone, 12-Wilfried Bony
    • 16:35 Teams: Algeria: 23-Rais Mbolhi; 2-Mehdi Mostefa, 4-Essaid Belkalem, 5-Rafik Halliche, 6-Djamel Mesbah; 8-Medhi Lacen, 17-Adlene Guedioura, 15-Hilal Soudani, 7-Ryad Boudebouz, 18-Khaled Lemmouchia, 9-Islam Slimani
