    • Real Madrid
    • 90+4' The full-time whistle goes at the Stadion Maksimir, and Real Madrid have clinched a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb courtesy of Angel Di Maria's 53rd minute strike, despite having been reduced to 10 men after Marcelona's second half red card. Thanks for joining me!
    • 90+2' Pepe is shown a yellow card for a mistimed challenge on Badelj, but there was nothing really in that. The Portugese is very frustrated, but the visitors clear the resulting set piece.
    • 90' Casillas plays the ball short, out to his defenders as Real keep possession tidily in their own half with four minutes to be added.
    • 89' Ronaldo shrugs his shoulders once more in frustration as he fails to get on the end of a long ball from Pepe, and it has not been his night.
    • 88' Sammir whips over another very fine delivery from the right, but Vida heads wide of the far post!
    • 87' Leko, who is very lucky to still be on the pitch, streaks down the right at pace, but cannot get his cross in.
    • 86' Real stroke the ball around in very composed fashion in their own half, and Dinamo are unable to regain possession.
    • 85' Calello makes way as Situm is introduced late on for Dinamo as the hosts go in search of a late equaliser.

    • 83' It's all Real Madrid now and Jose Mourinho's substitutions appear to have settled his side considerably.
    • 82' Diarra is flattened by Sammir as the Real midfielder brings the ball out of defence, and now the visitors can rebuild.
    • 81' Alvaro Arbeloa comes on to replace Karim Benzema now as Mourinho makes his final change and looks to close out this match.
    • 80' Kelava flies out of his goal to punch clear a loose ball inside his own box, and he does very well to alleviate the danger.
    • 79' Another change is made as Lassana Diarra comes on to replace Mesut Ozil, and Mourinho is looking to really shore up his midfield now.
    • 78' Gonzalo Higuain comes on to replace Angel Di Maria, the goalscorer, as Mourinho makes his first change.
    • 77' Dinamo win another corner as Real are forced under the cosh and asked to defend obdurately for the remaining minutes.
    • 75' Beqiraj comes on for Dinamo with Rukavina coming off. He squandered a glorious chance in the first half!
    • 73' MARCELO IS SENT OFF! The Real Madrid left back hurtles into the Dinamo Zagreb box and hits the ground sharply under apparent contact from Luis Ibanez, but the referee deems it a dive!
    • 71' Dinamo have their fifth corner of the match, but again Pepe clears with a towering header inside the penalty area.
    • 70' Pokrivac has a snap shot inside the Real box blocked away by Pepe, and that was very stout defending!

    • 67' Ozil floats a very fine corner kick to the back post, but Ronaldo is not quite able to latch on to it.
    • 66' Sammir whips over a testing corner from the left, only for Pepe to head clear superbly. Real are defending very well this evening.
    • 65' Pokrivac is shown the yellow card for a late challenge on Ozil, and this is getting very scrappy again now.
    • 63' Ronaldo goes down in apparent agony as Leko raises his boot and goes in high on the Portugese, and he is very lucky to avoid a red card...
    • 61' Kovacic is replaced by Pokrivac as Dinamo make their first change of the match. Mourinho has yet to make any changes.
    • 60' Ramos gets to his feet very gingerly, holding his face, but he is okay to continue after a brief delay.
    • 59' Sergio Ramos is clattered by Kelava as the keeper comes out to punch clear a free kick from Alonso, and the Real Madrid defender is in real pain.

    • 50' Tomecak again lets rip with a shot from distance, but he drives his effort well wide of the far post.
    • 49' Rukavina continues to cause havoc in the final third for Dinamo, but he is ruled offside for his latest run.

    • 47' Dinamo put their opponents under huge pressure with a sweeping attack, but Marcelo makes a crucial intervention at the back post.
    • 46' The second half is underway, and Real are immediately back into their rhythm with Ronaldo taking the ball down the left at pace and whipping over a cross to no one.
    • 45+2' The half-time whistle goes and Dinamo Zagreb have held Real Madrid thus far with the Spanish giants unable to find an elusive breakthrough in a frustrating opening period. There will surely be goals in the second half... What did you make of that showing? Let me know!
    • 45+1' Sammir unleashes a wild and entirely useless shot miles over the crossbar, and that gives Real the possession straight back.
    • 45' Ronaldo again charges forward before slipping in Marcelo, but the defender's chipped finish goes over the bar!
    • 44' Di Maria makes good ground down the right for Real, but he is unable to force his way past Calello, who stands his ground.
    • 43' Casillas marshalls his back four as the visitors defend another set piece, but the keeper claims the tame high ball comfortably.
    • 42' Dinamo continue to defend very stoutly to frustrate Real, and even Alonso is forced to press further forward.
    • 41' The resulting free kick is eventually taken as Coentrao gets to his feet gingerly, but Ronaldo wastes the free kick and the chance goes begging.
    • 40' Coentrao is cynically fouled by Leko on the edge of the Dinamo box, and that was a very crude challenge - he's rightly booked for it.

    • 38' After lengthy treatment, Kelava gets gingerly to his feet and play can resume with the keeper back in the game.

    • 28' WHAT A DOUBLE SAVE! Benzema storms down the right and lays off a pass to Di Maria, whose shot is brilliantly saved by Kelava, who follows that with a stunning reflex follow up save to deny Ozil!
    • 27' Badelj is penalised for a professional foul on Xabi Alonso, and Real are able to gather themselves once more.
    • 26' Zagreb press down the right through Tomecak, but the hosts cannot create sustained pressure as Real comfortably clear the danger.
    • 25' Ronaldo is tripped outwide on the left by Ibanez, and he throws the ball down in disgust but is not penalised.
    • 24' The visitors pass the ball around at the back once more, not seemingly in a huge rush to press forward and attack Dinamo.
    • 23' Ibanez concedes a corner and is very happy to do so as Ozil lurks ominously and puts him under immense pressure.

    • 1' The first half is underway at the Maksimir Stadion, and Zagreb immediately enjoy a good period of early possession.
    • 19:40 We're just five minutes from kick off now as Real Madrid are set to emerge in their all-red change strip!
    • 19:35 You can get in touch with me throughout tonight's match on Twitter: let me know your views!
    • 19:30 Jurcic continued: "We have been talked about Madrid a lot in recent weeks; they are the topic of every conversation. The big prize for me and my players is to play against Real Madrid. We had scouts at their last match and we received some instructions as to how we can play against them, but the most important thing is that we don't need to try to beat the Real Madrid players at their own game; that would be wrong. We will try to play our own game and try to keep to our rhythm."
    • 19:25 Krunoslav Jurcic, the Dinamo coach, said: "I know what I will say to my players before the match. I will repeat the words that coach Osvaldo Ardilles told us in the dressing room before our 0-0 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the group stage, 12 years ago. I will say that we need to play the best we can on the pitch and not think about who we will be swapping shirts with after the match."
    • 19:20 Real Madrid assistant coach Aitor Karanka: "We don't know much about Dinamo, I know they haven't played in the Champions League for a long time, but they are playing now in front of their home crowd, so we need to be at our best. If you ask me to rate Dinamo, I'd say they are one of the less difficult opponents in our group."
    • 19:15 The predictions are already flying in, with Tony predicting a 3-1 win to Zagreb, while Christian Kyn believes it will be 4-1 to the Spanish giants... what do you think? Post your pre-match predictions...
    • 19:10 FACT: Dinamo have suffered just one defeat in 13 matches this season, the 2-0 loss to Malmö FF in the UEFA Champions League play-off second leg.
    • 19:05 In both their previous two group stage campaigns Dinamo began with goalless draws, at home to AFC Ajax in 1998/99 and again the following season away to then holders Manchester United FC. In the first participation they were unbeaten at home, drawing two games and winning one, while in 1999/2000 they lost twice and won once.
    • 19:00 Hamit Altıntop (back) and Nuri Şahin (left knee ligament strain) are still yet to make their Madrid debuts, while Sami Khedira has not featured since suffering an adductor injury in the Spanish Super Cup second leg on 17 August. Khedira is on the bench.
    • 18:55 STAT: Cristiano Ronaldo, who struck a Liga record 40 goals in 2010/11, has scored seven goals in his last four appearances, 19 in 11 stretching back to last season.
