    • 90+4' The referee blows the whistle to end the match as Marseille run out 3-0 winners. Thanks for joining me and I hope to see you next time. Good night.
    • 90+3' J. Ayew is shown a second yellow card for a quite blatant dive and is sent off. What a poor way to end the game!
    • 90' We'll have three minutes of added time at the end of this match.
    • 89' Marseille make their third and final change of the night as Jean-Phillipe Sabo is introduced. Andre Ayew makes way.
    • 88' CROSSBAR!! Barrios crosses from the right and it finds the head of Błaszczykowski who can only direct his effort onto the bar. Mandanda is beaten but punches the loose ball clear.
    • 87' The visitors attempt to build up an attack. Schmelzer finds Błaszczykowski but the striker's pass is wayward. Azpilicueta ushers the ball out for a throw-in.
    • 85' Valbuena fizzes the ball into the feet of J. Ayew with a superb half volley. The substitute beats his man before shooting from 30 yards. It rolls halmlessly into the hands of the keeper.
    • 84' Dortmund have just six more minutes to try and find their first goal in France in four attempts. The game is well and truly over, but they'd like to get that monkey off their back.
    • 83' J. Ayew is sent through and looks to burst into the penalty area, but the flag is up and play is brought back.
    • 82' Marseille have still completed less passes than Dortmund. The French side have only managed to clock up 169 compared to the visitors' 297, however, the French have been more clinical in front of goal.
    • 81' Marseille make a real mess of clearing a loose ball which allows for Blaszczkowski to sneak in and have a crack at goal from 20 yards. He catches it completely wrong though and it dribbles well wide of the goal.
    • 80' Diawarra gives the ball away in a dangerous area but Bender isn't expecting it. His control lets him down which allows for the hosts to retain the ball.
    • 79' He's not been on long but J. Ayew is booked already. There's nothing malicious about the challenge - he's just a bit too keen and floors Piszczek.
    • 78' Dortmund are really going for it now, but let's face it, they have to. They win another corner which is taken by Goezte. It's poor though, and is cleared at the front post.
    • 77' Goetze's corner is dangerous and is met by the towering Blaszczykowski, but the Dortmund man can only head over the bar from 10 yards.
    • 76' Subotic rifles the free kick towards goal which Mandanda fails to hold. Barrios sneaks in and attempts to pick up the pieces but is flagged offside.
    • 75' The visitors burst forward and look dangerous on the attack but they're stopped in their tracks as Barrios is fouled 35 yards from goal.
    • 74' Can you keep up? I'm struggling. Marseille make another change as Lucho Gonzalez is replaced by Morgan Amalfitano.
    • 73' Dortmund also make another change, bringing on their third subsitute of the night. Lucas Barrios replaced Robert Lewandowski.
    • 72' The hosts make a chance as goalscorer Loic Remy is replaced by Jordan Ayew, Andre's younger brother.
    • 70' CHANCE!! Goetze latches onto a dangerous ball and heads it towards the far post. Mandanda makes a diving save but makes the most of it. Kodak moment.
    • 69' GOAL FOR MARSEILLE! Ayew smashes the penalty straight down the centre of the goal. Game over, surely?!?!
    • 68' Valbuena bursts down the right and cuts the ball back into the path of Remy who is barged to the floor by Kehl. Stone wall penalty.
    • 67' Marseille haven't conceded at home in their last three games, whilst Dortmund have failed to score in France during their last three Champions League fixtures. It all looks a little bleak doesn't it? You never know though...
    • 66' Dortmund, and their boss, will be absolutely devastated at the sight of that second goal as it looked like the German side were really getting a foothold in the game and, in fairness, looked the more likely of the two sides to get the next goal.
    • 65' The visitors make two changes. Ivan Perisic and Jakub Blaszczkykowski are introduced in place of Shinji Kagawa and Kevin Grosskreutz.
    • 63' GOAL FOR MARSEILLE!! It's been all Dortmund yet again but Marseille double their lead and now look like taking all three points. Hummels fails to clear a long ball and heads it straight into the path of Remy, who takes one touch on his chest before volleying into the bottom right-hand corner.
    • 62' Valbuena is sent through on goal but the flag is up straight away. The winger still goes for the shot and is lucky not to be booked.
    • 61' It’s getting a little feisty now. A few heavy challenges are being produced and the referee will need to calm it down.
    • 60' We've now got our second yellow of the night. Morel does win the ball in the challenge with Piszczek but does go flying into the challenge and is booked.
    • 59' Marseille are starting to find their feet in this second half now, as they did following that slow start in the first half. They’re now passing it around deep in the opponents’ half.
    • 58' We have the first card of the night. And it is the most obvious yellow card you are likely to see. Hummels flies into the back of Remy and the referee is over instantly to award the Dortmund player a booking.
    • 57' Kehl goes into a challenge with Lucho and comes out second best as he receives a rather painful-looking kick to the nether regions. Nothing you can do about that. He'll be alright though...
    • 56' Marseille are stretched once again as Morel is forced into sending the ball out for another corner. The defender is on hand at the near post to clear the set-piece.
    • 55' Marseille really can’t get hold of the ball at the moment. They’re defending very deep and, at the moment, don’t have a single player in the opposition half.
    • 54' Lewandowski attempts to knock down a high ball into the path of Kagawa, but the midfielder is pushed off the ball which allows for Mandanda to come and claim.
    • 53' It seems pretty obvious then, that Juergen Klopp has given his players the hairdryer treatment at half time because this looks like completely different Dortmund side to the one that turned up in the first half.
    • 52' CHANCE!! Goetze is sent through again by Grosskreutz but Mandanda is off his line superbly to smother the ball. The keeper has a few words for his back four.
    • 50' CHANCE!! POST!! Grosskreutz dinks the ball towards the far post into the path of Goetze who sidefoots it into the foot of the post. The ball flies straight into the arms of the grateful Mandanda.
    • 49' CHANCE!! Superb footwork from Remy who bursts down the right flank and skips past two challenges before pulling the ball back to Lucho six yards from goal. The Argentinean can't take control of the ball and runs it out of play.
    • 48' PENALTY?? NO! Kagawa looks to get on the end of a dinked pass and goes down under the challenge of Azpilicueta but the referee waves play on.
    • 47' Surprisingly, it was the hosts that shaded the possession during the opening half despite that shaky first 20 minutes. Dortmund start the second half in the same way that they started the first – on top.
    • 46' The second half is under way. Dortmund kick off.
    • 45+2' The referee brings the first half to an end; Ayew's goal seperating the sides as Marseille lead 1-0.
    • 45' We'll have two minutes of added time in this first half.
    • 44' Marseille look for a big finish to the end of this half as Valbuena sends a corner onto the penalty spot. Piszczek is up highest to head away as the visitors attempt a counter attack.
    • 43' Goetze is sent down the left but looks to be half-heartedly chasing the ball down. Morel ushers it out for a goal kick.
    • 42' Bender is really late into a challenge with Lucho and floors the Marseille man. Replays show that the Dortmund man wasn't even looking at the ball. He's lucky not to be booked.
    • 41' Valbuena's corner is whipped in but Widenfeller is off his line rapidly to punch clear. The laser pen was out again though, and was shining on the keeper's face.
    • 40' Remy receives a long ball and hold it up well before turning his man. Subotic recovers well though and puts the ball out for a corner.
    • 39' It's the visitors that look more accomplished on the ball, but whenever Marseille turn on the style, they look very dangerous.
    • 38' Kehl gets down the left wing and tries to find Kagawa with a low ball but the attacking midfielder is beaten to the ball. He's not had a kick yet...
    • 37' CHANCE!! Ayew receives the ball on the left again following some neat footwork from Valbuena. The goalscorer attempts to find the same corner but the keeper is down well to beat it away.
    • 36' Valbuena has the ball down the right again and attempts to beat the left-back. The winger nutmegs his man and goes down under a challenge. He's furious that no free-kick is given.
    • 34' Marseille stoke the ball around deep in their own half. Valbuena receives it on the right and attempts a lobbed pass into the path of Diawarra and nearly gets it wrong. The defender clears up.
    • 33' STAT: Dortmund have completed 125 passes to Marseille's 96 so far. But they're still behind.
    • 32' Ayew attempts to beat his man to the ball and square the ball to Morel. He goes down under the challenge of Piszczek and falls awkwardly on his shoulder. He looks in some pain.
    • 30' Valbuena flies down the right wing and takes on Schmelzer before crossing from the byline. Hummels heads away under no pressure.
    • 29' N'Koulou does well under pressure deep in his own half. He fakes to go one way before taking the ball the other way past his man. Risky, but good defending.
    • 28' It's finally taken and the ball falls to Hummels on the edge of the penalty area. The defender volleys towards goal but it drifts over the bar.
    • 27' There is a long break in play before Schmelzer is able to take the corner. There is a laser pen pointed at towards the face of the Dortmund player.
    • 26' Marseille really looked second best in every sense before that goal, but they now look to have found a yard of pace. Dortmund are attempting to slow down the pace of the game and get back on top.
    • 25' Kabore whips the ball into the feet of Remy who wants a one-two with Valbuena, but the striker’s pass is poor and the ball rolls out of play for a throw-in.
    • 24' Ayew, the goalscorer, flies down the right and sends a teasing cross into the penalty area into the path of Remy but Subotic heads clear.
    • 22' Well, who saw that coming. It looked like the visitors would be the side to take the lead, and nearly did through Goetze. But Marseille went straight up the other end and scored. Incredible stuff...
    • 21' GOAL FOR MARSEILLE! They haven't been in the game for the last five minutes but the hosts are leading. Remy feeds Ayew on the left of the penalty area and the midfielder takes one toyuch before rifling a fierce left-footed drive into the bottom right-hand corner. Great finish.
    • 19' GREAT DOUBLE SAVE!! Goetze is sent over the top and goes through on goal. He looks to send the ball into the far corner from 8 yards but Mandanda dives low to his left to make the save. It falls back to the striker who looks to go the other way this time. The French No. 2 is equal to that though.
    • 18' Goetze cuts in from the right and looks to wriggle his way past a number of challenges. Marseille fail to clear the ball as it falls to Schmelzer who shoots wide from 25 yards.
    • 17' There hasn’t been a great many chances on goal during the opening quarter of an hour or so, but the visiting side have definitely had the better of possession and look more relaxed on the ball.
    • 16' Ayew’s back up as Marseille now look to attack. The visitors are pressuring well though, and the hosts are forced to pass it from side to side.
    • 15' Ayew is down following a challenge as Dortmund settle on the ball and pass it around well. It’s a pretty open game, this.
    • 14' Hummels and Subotic go for the same ball. It’s a slight mix-up as Remy tries to take advantage, but the former picks up the pieces and regains possession.
    • 12' Great feet from Remy. The striker flicks the ball past a number of challenges down the left before cutting inside and looking to shoot. Subotic is across to get the block in.
    • 11' Hummels risest highest in the penalty area and looks certain to meet Goetze’s corner but misses the ball which allows N’Koulou to clear.
    • 10' Lewandowski is sent through on goal but Mandanda is out in a flash and beats the striker to the ball to clear effectively. Great keeping.
    • 9' Great effort. Ayew meets Valbuena's corner 10 yards from goal but can only head his effort over the bar.
    • 8' CHANCE!! Morel bursts down the left and pulls teh ball back for Lucho on the edge of the penalty area, but the midfielder misses the ball completely.
    • 7' Bender flicks a long throw-in into the path of Lewandowski but Diawarra is on hand to boot it clear. A poor long pass from Piszczek allows the hosts to regain possession.
    • 6' Remy and Valbuena exchange a one-two down the right wing, but by the time the ‘two’ is played Remy is offside. Just.
    • 5' Weidenfeller receives a slack ball from Piszczek, but the keeper does well under pressure from Remy and clears well.
    • 4' It’s been a high-tempo opening few minutes with both sides seeing a fair bit of the ball. It’s been mostly around the middle of the pitch though, with neither keeper being tested.
    • 3' Remy, Valbuena and Lucho link in the middle as the lone striker looks to find some space between the two central defenders. Lucho’s touch lets him down and Marseille lose possession.
    • 2' Ayew receives the ball on the left instantly and looks to beat his man. He doesn’t and opts to fall to the ground. The referee waves play on.
    • 1' The game is underway. Marseille kick off.
    • 19:42 The two teams are currently lined up next to one another as the Champions League anthem sounds. For a moment, it looked like Charles Kabore was singing along like it was his national anthem, but he was just yawning.
    • 19:41 Both sets of players are currently in the tunnel awaiting to be called onto the pitch. The atmosphere around the Stade Vélodrome is electric. As expected, Dortmund have brought a large number of followers with them. This is going to be loud, there is no doubt about it.
    • 19:39 The German side have won none of their last five encounters with French clubs in European competition (two defeats, three draws). Their only victory in France came back in the 1996/97 Champions League campaign when they won 1-0 at Auxerre in the quarter finals.
    • 19:35 Dortmund have failed to find the net in their last three visits to France. They last faced Ligue 1 opposition in the 2010/11 Europa League group stage when they played out a goalless draw with Paris Saint-Germain.
    • 19:30 Marseille last faced German opposition in the 1998/99 UEFA Cup when they played Werder Bremen. They won 4-3 on aggregate.
    • 19:25 Now, before kick-off, here are a few little facts about the two teams ahead of the match. Marseille have won three of their four encounters at home against German clubs in European competition. The only German club to beat Marseille on their own patch are Carl Zeiss Jena back in the 1975/76 UEFA Cup.
    • 19:20 He said: “We are keeping the Champions League completely separate from the Bundesliga so we should not make it out as if that win gives us a huge advantage.”
    • 19:15 Dortmund have had a slightly better start to their season; winning three, drawing one and losing three of their opening seven fixtures. Die Borussen coach Jürgen Klopp has declared that the club are keeping their domestic and European fixtures completely separate and believes that the side’s win over Mainz at the weekend will have no bearing on the outcome of this match.
    • 19:10 He said: “Our spirits are generally high. We put a lot of heart and enthusiasm into the match (against Valenciennes) and they were two points lost in view of the situation. I am sorry for my players because we punished ourselves at the worst possible time. We were in control of 99 per cent of the match, but now we have to lift ourselves up for the match in the Champions League."
    • 19:05 Marseille have had a shaky start to their domestic campaign and lie in eighth position in the Ligue 1 championship. Out of their eight games played, they have won just the once, drew four and lost three. However, manager Didier Deschamps has stated that the morale in the club is consistently high and that they will be back to their best soon.
    • 19:00 The teams are in. They are as follows: Marseille: Mandanda, Azpilicueta, N'Koulou, Morel, Diawara, Diarra, González, Kaboré, Valbuena, Rémy, Ayew. Subs: Bracigliano, Sabo, Amalfitano, J Ayew, Omrani, Gadi, Barrios /// Dortmund: Weidenfeller, Subotić, Hummels, Piszczek, Schmelzer, Kehl, Götze, Grosskreutz, Bender, Kagawa. Subs: Langerak, Santana, da Silva, Błaszczykowski, Gündoğan, Perišić.
    • 18:55 Dortmund lie in joint second place after their 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Signal Iduna Park. Arsenal took the lead through a Robin Van Persie strike before Ivan Perisic secured the German side a point with a screaming 88th minute volley from the edge of the penalty area. Dortmund peg back Arsenal
    • 18:50 Marseille currently top Group F following their 1-0 win over Olympiacos in the matchday one opener in Piraeus. Marseille edge Olympiacos
