    • - Wow wow wow wow. What a result. Dortmund were simply stunning. Can Madrid come back from here? Not likely. Let me know what you thought of the game on Twitter. Tom Adams (tomEurosport) on Twitter
    • 90+4' FULL TIME. A sensational win for Dortmund as they beat Madrid thanks to four, FOUR, goals from Robert Lewandowski. Ronaldo's reply gives Madrid a sliver of hope but it's a long shot now. Dortmund v Bayern in the final? It certainly looks that way.
    • 90+3' CHANCE FOR MADRID! The ball drops perfectly for Varane but his volley on the turn flashes just wide of the post!
    • 90+3' Late corner for Madrid....
    • 90+2' Sergio Ramos booked for handball.
    • 90+1' A change for Dortmund as the brilliant Gundogan is replaced by Julian Schieber.
    • 90' Into injury time we go, Dortmund cruising to a sensational win.
    • 89' Ouch. Weidenfeller has been hurt as he was caught by Ronaldo on the knee.
    • 88' GOOD SAVE! Ronaldo is free in the box but his low effort is blocked by a fine save from Weidenfeller, who runs off his line to intervene.
    • 87' So, Lewandowski MOM of course. But Reus has been electric and Gundogan authoritative in midfield. Goetze has been quiet, but he let others steal the limelight today.
    • 85' Stat from Opta: "Borussia Dortmund last reached the semi-finals of the Champions League back in 1997/98. They were eventually knocked out by Real Madrid (2-0 on aggregate)."
    • 84' Dortmund seeking to see the game out now. They will settle for a three-goal margin. What a chance they have of reaching the final.
    • 83' And another change, Kevin Grosskreutz on for Piszczek.
    • 82' Kuba is taken off after a purposeful performance, with defensive midfielder Sebastian Kehl on in his place to tighten things up for Dortmund.
    • 80' Kaka comes on for Alonso as Madrid throw caution to the wind.
    • 79' Ronaldo pings the ball wide to Di Maria but his attempted cross goes behind.
    • 78' LEWANDOWSKI AGAIN! Lopez is forced into a smart save when the striker lashes one in from 25 yards. He looks like scoring every time he gets the ball.
    • 77' Reus gets in behind and lobs Lopez to nestle the ball in the far corner, but he is caught offside. Replays show it was very close indeed.
    • 75' Madrid sneak a pass through the Dortmund backline for Khedira but his cross is turned behind by Weidenfeller for a corner. Madrid don't make anything of it.
    • 74' When you consider the Bayern score last night, this has been a truly monumental week for German football. No one does this to Barcelona and Real Madrid. No one.
    • 72' Madrid change things up again as Angel Di Maria comes on for Modric.
    • 71' Lewandowski bodychecks Ramos to earn a booking. Mueller did the same last night and got an 'assist'.
    • 70' A change for Madrid as Higuain is replaced by Karim Benzema.
    • 69' Ronaldo races onto a ball through the middle but he is offside.
    • 68' Four goals for Lewandowski. Four. Against Real Madrid. In a Champions League semi-final.
    • 67' GOAL! Dortmund 4-1 Madrid! Lewandowski with a FOURTH of the match! He smashes it down the middle! What a sensational scoreline.
    • 66' PENALTY TO DORTMUND! Alonso bangs into Reus from behind!
    • 65' In it comes from Ozil and Subotic heads behind for a corner. Better from Madrid. Now Ronaldo heads off target from the second set-piece.
    • 64' Madrid win a free-kick but Ozil gets a caution when gesturing to the ref that he wants a card to come out.
    • 63' Alonso delivers a cross from the left but as Ramos gets his head to the ball both the Spain international and Varane had moved into an offside position.
    • 62' SENSATIONAL FROM DORTMUND! Gundogan goes on a brilliant run past two men, running right around the outside of Pepe, before thumping in a firm drive that Lopez tips over the bar.
    • 60' Ronaldo with a clever turn in the box but his dinked cross can't pick out a white shirt. More disappointment for Madrid, who are in a fairly big hole at the moment.
    • 58' Modric gets the ball in a central position and tries a shot from 30 yards but his low effort is claimed by the diving Lewandowski.
    • 57' Stat from Opta: "This is the third consecutive season that Real Madrid have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League. The last time they reached the final though was back in 2002."
    • 56' That is Lewandowski's ninth goal in the competition this season - just three behind Ronaldo. Will he have an extra game than the Portuguese? It looks likely at the moment.
    • 55' GOAL! Dortmund 3-1 Madrid! Lewandowski with a sensational goal for his hat-trick! Schmelzer with a rather hopeful cross from the left but it finds the Pole and he drags the ball away from his marker before lashing it into the roof of the net. Sensational.
    • 54' The first booking of the evening goes to Khedira for a foul on Reus.
    • 53' Dortmund had a couple of offside goals against Malaga but that wasn't another Varane playing him on. Madrid punished for some sloppy defending as they failed to clear a couple of times.
    • 52' Here's a replay and he was level! Reus turned the ball through the defence first time and Lewandowski controlled beautifully before toe-poking the ball into the corner.
    • 51' Well I'd need a replay and the TV director isn't obliging at the moment. Madrid were pretty convinced he was offside but they should have played to the whistle.
    • 50' GOAL! Dortmund 2-1 Madrid! Madrid furious and want offside but Lewandowski taps home!
    • 49' Lopez hoofs the ball downfield and finds Ozil steaming through the centre but the playmaker can't get control of the ball despite being onside and in behind the defence.
    • 48' Khedira lets the ball run out after it comes off Goetze but the referee awards a corner! Bad decision. Reus delivers and Lopez catches confidently.
    • 47' Ramos raises his boot to challenge Reus and the forward appears to go to ground in a rather delayed reaction. Ramos got the ball cleanly but, well, Nani might have something to say..
    • 46' KICK OFF!
    • - What did you make of the first half? Was it a penalty? Let me know on Twitter now. Follow Tom Adams (@tomEurosport) on Twitter
    • 45+1' HALF TIME. Dortmund were in control thanks to Lewandowski's goal but in 40 seconds it all changed as Reus was denied a penalty and Ronaldo scored. All to play for.
    • 45' More havoc in the Dortmund box as Ozil tries to find Ronaldo again, only for Piszczek to stick in a boot and prevent him from claiming a second.
    • 44' Dortmund clearly failed to focus after the disappointment of the penalty decision and they were punished for Hummels's mistake.
    • 43' GOAL! Dortmund 1-1 Madrid! Dortmund denied a certain penalty and Ronaldo goes and scores at the other end! Hummels is guilty of a terrible attempt at a backpass as he lets Higuain in and Ronaldo converts from his cross at the back post.
    • 42' SURELY A PENALTY?? Reus drives into the box and is tripped by Varane, but nothing is given!
    • 41' MADRID THREATEN! Dortmund fail to deal with a cross from the left and when the loose ball bounces out to Alonso 30 yards from goal the midfielder lashes in a low effort that Hummels blocks in the box.
    • 40' Coentrao gets a bit of space when played in by Ozil but he eschews the early cross and instead switches onto his other foot before delivering the ball and watching it float over the bar.
    • 39' Madrid are edging the possession with 51%, while Dortmund have had four shots to Madrid's two.
    • 38' All credit to Dortmund - to restrict Madrid to such little joy in the final third is a huge achievement. They look much the more accomplished side at the moment.
    • 36' Alonso digs out a pass to Higuain on the left and he tries to curl in a cross for Ronaldo, arriving at the back post. However, the ball has a bit too much on it and fails to find the head of the forward.
    • 35' Madrid aren't anywhere near their best, and Ronaldo has been very quiet. A very similar pattern to last night's game - but lightning doesn't strike twice, does it?
    • 34' Reus gets a pass wrong as Schmelzer attacks on the overlap. A chance missed.
    • 33' Lewandowski taps the ball wide to Goetze and tries to spin to control the return ball in the air but doesn't quite pull it off.
    • 32' Blaszczykowski goes on a superb run as he nips around Coentrao and into the box but Higuain tracks him and does enough to stop and easy square pass for Lewansowski in the centre of the goal.
    • 30' Stat from Opta: "Borussia Dortmund have only won one of their six competitive encounters with Real Madrid (three draws, two defeats)."
    • 29' Alonso with the delivery and Weidenfeller comes out decisively to punch the ball away, and then gathers the rebound when it bounces back to him.
    • 28' Neven Subotic is penalised for a foul on Coentrao as the defender comes across to knock the left-back to the ground. Madrid with a free-kick on the left.
    • 27' Kuba almost gets free on the right on a Dortmund break but Coentrao cuts the pass out. Madrid mount a counter of their own and win a free-kick, but Alonso's delivery has too much on it and drifts out as Ronaldo and Weidenfeller collide in the air.
    • 26' Khedira drifts into space on the right of the box and his firm cross is blocked by a Dortmund shirt.
    • 25' Reus - who has been fantastic so far - goes on a dangerous run past three men but his final pass is just lacking. Gundogan then lashes a shot over the bar.
    • 24' RONALDO GOES CLOSE! Typically, the forward gets all kind of movement and power from his set-piece and Weidenfeller punches away rather unconvincingly as the ball swerves towards his right-hand post.
    • 23' Bender handballs from a Ronaldo pass to give Madrid a free-kick from 35 yards...
    • 22' Madrid are trying a variety of angles of attack but nothing is working for them at the moment. Ronaldo has seen very little of the ball.
    • 21' Alonso tries to pick out Ronaldo on the right but unusually for the midfielder he executes the pass wrong and sees it sail out for a throw.
    • 20' Twenty minutes in and Madrid are yet to create a single shot on goal. Here comes a cross from the right but even Ronaldo can't leap high enough to get his head on it.
    • 19' Kuba Blaszczykowski drops the ball back for Goetze, but his deep cross to the back post is headed away as Madrid try to counter, and fail.
    • 18' Schmelzer runs down the left to contest a ball with Ramos but is deemed to have fouled the Madrid defender. It doesn't go down well with the home fans.
    • 17' Stat from Opta (prior to tonight): "Robert Lewandowski has been directly involved in 42% of Dortmund’s goals in the Champions League this season, eight out of 19 (six goals, two assists)."
    • 16' Gundogan takes one in the face from Khedira and so eager are Dortmund to get at their opponents, they try and take the free-kick with their team-mate still down injured.
    • 15' Ronaldo's already looking a bit petulant, swinging his arms about when he doesn't get his way. Now Reus impresses again by nicking the ball off him. Dortmund are covering the whole pitch with a high intensity at the moment.
    • 14' Ronaldo races across to take a loose ball off the toes of Matts Hummels and when the ball comes square, Modric wants a free-kick when being knocked to ground. Nothing going though.
    • 13' Stat from Opta: "Dortmund have won all five of their home games in the Champions League this season (10 goals for, three against)."
    • 12' A tremendous start from Dortmund, following the Bayern template. They are first to nearly every ball, hugely energetic, pressing hard and demonstrating their quality.
    • 11' In comes the set-piece and although Madrid initially head away, the ball is played back in and Lewandowski gets the faintest of touches with his head.
    • 10' Ramos clatters into Lewandowski on the Madrid right to concede a free-kick in an advanced area...
    • 9' Well, that shows you why Goetze is valued so highly. He checked onto his right and delivered a tantalising cross to bisect the Madrid defence and find his team-mate.
    • 8' GOAL! Dortmund 1-0 Madrid! Lewandowski converts from close range after good pressure from the home side! Wonderful cross from the let from Goetze and the striker stretches out to tap the ball in on the volley.
    • 7' BIG CHANCE FOR DORTMUND! Reus takes the ball on a super run across the face of the Madrid box from deep. His low effort is only palmed out by Lopez and Lewandowski is free, but the striker can't reach it to tap the ball home first time and has to take it wide, as the chance dissipates.
    • 6' Modric leads Madrid forward when feeding Ozil down the right channel. Alonso takes possession and finds the Croatian again, but he misses the ball when swinging his boot at it on the edge of the box.
    • 5' Dortmund getting snappy in midfield now as Ilkay Gundogan hassles Sami Khedira to win the ball back for his side. He draws a foul and Reus's quick delivery into the box is headed away.
    • 4' Marco Reus gets wide on the left for Dortmund but his low cross is cut out by Pepe before Robert Lewandowski can latch onto it in the box.
    • 3' Fabio Coentrao appears to get the ball stuck under his feet for a second on the edge of the box but the Portugal international has the composure to offload.
    • 2' Both sides feeling each other out at the moment. Modric looks to be playing in a central role with Ozil and Ronaldo the two wide men for Madrid.
    • 1' KICK OFF!
    • 19:45 There's a wall of noise as the two teams emerge. What a setting this is. Black and yellow everywhere and the Champions League anthem booms out at Signal Iduna Park.
    • 19:40 Stats from Opta: "Real Madrid have only won one of their 24 away games in Germany in European competition. It was in the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen back in September 2000. Borussia Dortmund are the only team unbeaten in the Champions League this season (six wins, four draws). Real Madrid have failed to keep a clean sheet away from home in the Champions League this season (five games)."
    • 19:35 While we wait to see what reception Goetze gets from the Dortmund faithful, our Rio Report blog has been mulling over what the £32m deal means for the German national team. Goetze deal tightens Bayern’s grip on Germany XI
    • 19:30 Two great teams, no doubt about it, but both had surprising games in the quarter-finals. Dortmund, of course, needed to score twice in injury time at home to edge past Malaga while Real Madrid managed to lose 3-2 away at Galatasaray in their second leg but still go through. Both sides have defensive issues.
    • 19:25 These two faced each other in the group stages, Dortmund top with Madrid ahead of Ajax and then Manchester City. Dortmund won 201 at home with Robert Lewandowski and Marcel Schmelzer on target. They then drew 2-2 away. Very impressive.
    • 19:20 Jose Mourinho: "I hope that Xabi Alonso can create situations. We want to create the game from the back and have a more solid defence. I have no fear, no pressure. I do not know these feelings. it's a game, like the one against Galatasaray or Manchester United (in the previous rounds). We want to win it but those feelings, I do not know them. I try to keep them away from me. I know titles count and second spot is not successful."
    • 19:15 Juergen Klopp on Goetze: "I think there could have been a worse time to announce this - four hours before the game. I talked with some of our players and there should be no doubt that we know how to deal with this situation. We will do everything, absolutely everything against Real and whoever wanted to distract us will not succeed. It is clear that for us it is now a situation of 'Now, more than ever' because we can draw strength from this."
    • 19:10 What can we expect tonight, then? Two fantastically talented teams who love to play on the counter-attack and move the ball quickly and dangerously. Madrid obviously have the better set of individuals - Ronaldo the top scorer with 11 - but Dortmund have a superb team ethic. Madrid have the edge, but in Dortmund? Champions League top scorers
    • 19:05 All the pre-match talk has been about the Goetze deal, and the team he will join after they demolished Barcelona 4-0 in a seminal result last night. Can Dortmund do similar to Madrid? They need to get the Goetze controversy out of their heads if so, writes Alex Chick.
    • 19:00 TEAMS: Borussia Dortmund: Weidenfeller; Piszczek, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer; Bender, Gundogan; Blaszczykowski, Goetze, Reus; Lewandowski. Subs: Langerak, Felipe Santana, Leitner, Sahin, Grosskreutz, Schieber. /// Real Madrid: Diego Lopez; Ramos, Varane, Pepe, Coentrao; Alonso, Khedira; Modric, Ozil, Ronaldo; Higuain. Subs: Casillas, Albiol, Nacho, Kaka, Callejón, Di Maria, Benzema.
    • 18:55 Perhaps the more surprising piece of team news is the selection of Luka Modric in the Real Madrid midfield though. He starts in place of Angel Di Maria in the three behind Higuain. Full teams with you shortly.
    • 18:50 Mario Goetze starts for Borussia Dortmund despite news leaking yesterday that he has agreed to join Bayern Munich in a £32 million move this summer. He had to get a police escort at training and angry fans have burned his shirt, but he retains the faith of Juergen Klopp tonight.
