    • Málaga CF
    • AC Milan
    • 90+4' The Portuguese referee ends the game with his final whistle and the Malaga fans celebrate a famous 1-0 win against one of the great European clubs, even if this is not a great Milan side.
    • 90+3' Former Milan player Oguchi Onyewu comes on for the final seconds to replace Portillo.
    • 90+1' A late Milan free kick is wasted by Pato who hits it against the Malaga wall.
    • 89' Duda again shows his ability with a nice little left foot cross to Isco who just can't capitalise when a second goal would end this contest. We will have three minutes of added time.
    • 88' The home fans love it as Milan try to break and Bojan gives the ball away cheaply.
    • 87' Malaga are retaining the ball up front, with sub Duda showing great energy and stretching the tiring Milan defence.
    • 86' Malaga were really riding their luck there, though Willy has had a good game in general and deserves a clean sheet.
    • 85' Milan have two great chance to equalise in one minute, Willy first saving from an El Shaarawy shot and then Mexes shooting wide across the goal from the resulting corner.
    • 84' That was Joaquin's last contribution as he goes off for Duda.
    • 82' Joaquin wins a corner with a clever jinking run into the box.
    • 81' Pazzini is offside as he tries to get on the end of a good El Shaarawy cross from the right.
    • 80' Milan's former Barcelona man Bojan is not popular here, he is being jeered having turned down a move to Malaga over the summer.
    • 79' Milan look asleep at the back as Malaga take a quick throw in and Santa Cruz causes panic for the Italians and Malaga have a corner. Joaquin delivers and the danger is eventually cleared.
    • 78' Milan are struggling to dictate the play as they seek an equaliser. Acerbi goes off for Bojan who is booed by the home crowd.
    • 77' Malaga's Arab owners are in attendance for this game, the club hopiing they will clarify their financial commitment after months of turmoil for the Spanish outfit due to a lack of communication from the Middle East. The owners will be enjoying this scoreline if not this rainy night.
    • 76' Malaga clear the ball from the corner and Joaquin breaks rapidly. Isco almost on the end of that move in the Milan area, but the young Spaniard is a fraction too slow to control the ball.
    • 75' Substitute Pato has his first meaningful touch heading the corner across the box, then El Shaarawy wins antoher corner.
    • 74' Weligton slides in on Pazzini on the wet surface and concedes a corner on the left.
    • 73' Malaga look relatively comfortable here, but Milan are not out of this yet, it's a fairly even contest.
    • 72' Isco blasts a volley well over the Milan bar.
    • 71' Saviola goes off and former Blackburn and Manchester City player Roque Santa Cruz comes on for the last 20 minutes.
    • 70' Constant goes off and Pato joins the action. Then Pazzini heads wide in a good position in front of goal.
    • 69' Bonera gets yellowed now as he simultaneously decks Saviola and handles the ball.
    • 67' Iturra shows a different side to his game with an awful two footed lunge on Emanuelson earning a yellow card. That could have been red.
    • 66' A superb save from Amelia prevents an immediate second goal, as Eliseu drives in a great shot from distance.
    • 65' That was a lovely piece of combination play between goal scorer Joaquin and Iturra and the former of those two has made amends for his penalty miss. Malaga deserve the lead.
    • 65' GOAL!!! A brilliant goal by Joaquin who is played in behind the defence by an amazing chipped Iturra pass.
    • 64' Portillo's through ball into the box is chased by Saviola and Eliseu who seem to put each other off and Amelia gathers.
    • 63' At 19 years and 342 days, Stephan El Shaarawy became AC Milan's youngest UEFA Champions League goalscorer when he struck against FC Zenit St Petersburg on matchday two. Milan would love another goal from him now.
    • 61' Pazzini floors Demichelis leading with an arm as they contest an aerial ball. No card though.
    • 60' We should start seeing some changes from the managers soon, as Pellegrini and Allegri try to open this game up.
    • 59' Malaga break and Saviola burst forward, shooting over the box when he should have done a bit better and tested Amelia.
    • 58' A foul by Iturra on El Shaarawy gives Montolivio a chance to shoot from distance, his low drive saved on the ground by Willy.
    • 57' The crowd sense a goal as Isco intelligently plays in Saviola. only for a last ditch challenge from Bonera preventing a shot on goal.
    • 56' Iturra works brilliantly to win the ball back as soon as Malaga give it away, after a long spell of possession. Some typical Spanish play combining skill and hard work.
    • 55' A somewhat subdued start to this half, the teams sizing each other up in the heavy rain.
    • 54' Malaga's fourth-placed La Liga finish last term was their highest ever in La Liga. The team's previous best of seventh was achieved in 1970/71 and 1973/74.
    • 53' Willy gathers comfortably as Emanuelson finds some space cutting in from the right and tries a low shot at the Malaga goal.
    • 52' Montolivio gets a chance to shoot and skies it, as Willy looks on calmly between his posts.
    • 51' Saviola and Milan goalkeeper Amelia flirt with each other as the striker tries to cheekily flick the ball out of the Italian's hands, but the 'keeper is wise to it and waves his opponent away.
    • 50' Joaquin takes the free kick and Constant concedes a corner. Joaquin then takes the corner but can't beat the first man.
    • 49' There were no changes by either side at half time. Gamez is fouled on the right wing by Ambrosini and Malaga stream forward.
    • 48' Milan have scored 395 goals in the European Cup. Can they get another now to break the deadlock?
    • 47' Malaga retain the ball for the opening seconds before Portillo handles the ball and Milan get a free kick.
    • 46' Referee Proença signals the start of the second period and Malaga get the half undeway. The Rosaleda isn't full tonight, perhaps becuase of the rain, but the home fans are hoping their side can make amends for that first half penalty miss by Joaquin and record a win over a this under strength Milan team.
    • 45+2' The brilliant Isco ends the half with a clever little pass into the box which Saviola just fails to reach. The players disappear for their half time break.
    • 45'+1 A poor, poor penalty from Joaquin who smashes his spot kick over the bar. Perhaps that was justice as the penalty looked harsh on Milan.
    • 44' A yellow card for Constant and a penalty for Malaga as Gamez is toppled running into the box. Mexes also receives a yellow card for his protests.
    • 43' Milan are reduced to counter attacks as the half near its conclusion, the Italians will be happy to go in at 0-0 if it stays like this.
    • 42' Joaquin's corner into the box gives Demichelis a half chance but he cannot convert.
    • 41' More Malaga attacking play around the box on the right results in a corner won by Saviola off Mexes.
    • 40' Malaga want a goal before half time and danger man Joaquin has switched to the left flank to probe the Milan defence.
    • 39' Eliseu wants a free kick on the edge of the Milan box as he is pulled back by De Sciglio, only for the referee to wave play on.
    • 37' Joaquin is giving Constant a torrid time down the Malaga right, the Spaniard supplies Isco again and this time the youngster draws a good save from Amelia.
    • 36' Malaga are one of three clubs making their debut in the group stage this season, along with Montpellier Hérault SC and FC Nordsjælland. The Spanish side, along with FC Porto, are the only team still to concede in this season's group stage.
    • 35' Ambrosini then gives the ball away again to Joaquin who supplies the lively young Isco, who shoots just over from the edge of the box.
    • 34' Then Eliseu fouls De Sciglio further up the pitch and Ambrosini wastes the free kick.
    • 33' Some combatitive play from Malaga's Saviola and Iturra who are not happy that Milan are getting time on the ball and are throwing in some heavy tackles. Saviola overdoes it on Acerbi and concedes a foul.
    • 32' Milan’s last visit to Spain was a 3-1 defeat by FC Barcelona in the 2011/12 quarter-finals. They had drawn 2-2 at the Camp Nou in the group stage.
    • 31' El Shaarawy should at least test WIlly in the Malaga goal with a great chance provided by Pazzini and Emanuelson, but the Italian-Egyptian fires wide of the target.
    • 30' Eliseu on the Malaga left and De Sciglio at right full back for Milan are having a good battle and the Italian comes out best for now as they contest possession.
    • 29' Acerbi just can't rise enough to direct his header on goal from El Shaarawy's free kick delivery.
    • 28' Portillo is penalised for fouling Pazzini on the Milan right wing and the Italians have a chance to launch the ball into the Malaga box.
    • 27' Milan are mounting a sustained period of attacking pressure here in the rain in southern Spain as they try to force a breakthrough.
    • 25' De Sciglio finds some space on the Milan right and whips in a great cross for El Shaarawy who fails to get an effort on goal.
    • 24' Milan take the pressure off with some slow play around their defensive area, then try to break quickly via Emanuelson on the right. However the midfielder miscontrols and Malaga win the ball back.
    • 23' El Shaarawy goes off briefly to receive treatment after having the ball blasted into his face by teammate Montolivio.
    • 22' It's all Malaga now with Milan pinned back and the likes of Isco, Joaquin and Saviola seeing plenty of the ball in advanced positions.
    • 21' Malaga have only ever lost one match in European competition, winning eight out of the 12 they have played.
    • 20' Cisco's corner is whipped in to the near post where Mexes heads it out of the box.
    • 19' Joaquin floats another cross in from a free kick but it runs long and is collected by Isco who wins and takes a corner on the left.
    • 17' Ambrosini concedes a free-kick for a foul on Gamez, with the resulting free kick floated harmlessly into the box and play stopped as Demichelis clashes heads with Bonera.
    • 16' A burst down the right hand side by Joaquin as he goes round Constant sees Malaga stream forward, before the winger is stopped by Acerbi just inside the box.
    • 14' Milan's 3-2 victory at Zenit last time out was their first win in seven UEFA Champions League away matches.
    • 12' Montolivio is the first player to be booked, as he sees yellow for a heavy challenge on Camacho.
    • 11' This is the first encounter with Italian opposition for Málaga, who are yet to concede in four European outings this term, qualifiers included.
    • 10' Pazzini has a free kick in a good position but puts it over the Malaga bar. The visitors have had the best of the early running so far.
    • 9' The 1-0 loss to Inter on 7 October was AC MIlan's fourth reverse in seven Serie A matches this term. Milan had not started a campaign in such poor fashion since 1941/42. They have since also lost to Lazio at the weekend and currently sit 15th in the Italian league.
    • 7' A shot by Montolivio is blocked by Malaga goalkeeper Willy as Milan get their first effort on target.
    • 6' AC Milan have won just one of their last 11 Champions League matches against Spanish opposition (W1 D5 L5).
    • 5' Málaga are looking to continue their dream start to life in the UEFA Champions League here. The tournament newcomers head Group C after 3-0 victories over FC Zenit St Petersburg and RSC Anderlecht, and can increase their lead at the top to five points if successful against second-placed Milan.
    • 4' Joaquin takes the corner and Amelia punches clear in the Milan goal.
    • 2' El Shaarawy is penalised for a foul on Eliseu and Joaquin crosses the free kick with Mexes conceding a corner.
    • 1' An early mistake from De Sciglio almost lets Saviola in but Bonera tidies up at the back.
    • 0' So we're underway here at La Rosaleda with Milan kicking off in their famous black and red shirts.
    • 19.41 AC Milan have won just one of their last 11 Champions League matches against Spanish opposition (W1 D5 L5).

    • 19.37 There have been six penalties scored in Milan’s last nine Champions League matches, five for the opposition.
    • 19.35 Malaga have allowed just four shots on target against them so far in the Champions League, the joint-fewest with Real Madrid.
    • 19.32 Match odds: Malaga (21/20) AC Milan (11/4) Draw (12/5)
    • 19.30 The match referee is Pedro Proença of Portugal, who takes charge of his 18th Champions League game this evening.
    • 19.20 The other game in this group tonight has already taken place, with Zenit St Petersburg overcoming Anderlecht 1-0 in Russia. Zenit St Petersburg vs Anderlecht match report.
    • 19.15 Massimiliano Allegri (AC Milan): "I don’t think tomorrow’s game will be my last. This moment is similar to the time when I lost five games in a row at Cagliari. But my team is not in difficulty and we are not playing badly. But football is often decided by certain incidents. We have to stay calm. Thinking too much will drive you mad."
    • 19.10 Manuel Pellegrini (Malaga manager): "It is not for me talk of Milan. They are not going well in the League, but in the Champions League they have won four out of a possible six points. Milan are going to be very difficult to beat. They are undergoing a major cyclical change and that has taken its toll in Serie A, but they have been better in the Champions League. We need to be at our best in order to win this game."
    • 19.00 Massimiliano Allegri is unable to select Robinho as the Brazilian has picked up a thigh injury in training. Massimo Ambrosini makes his first Champions League appearance of the season, with Nigel de Jong making way in midfield due to injury. Pato is still coming back from a layoff and only makes the bench, where he is joined by former La Liga star Bojan.
    • 18.55 There are no fresh injury worries for Malaga, although Nacho Monreal failed a late fitness test. Eliseu therefore moves to left-back, with Manuel Iturra brought into midfield. Sergio Sanchez is absent with a virus while Diego Buonanotte, Julio Baptista and Jeremy Toulalan all sidelined.
