    • 90+3' Full-time and Chelsea get their first win of the Champions League title defence which ultimately didn't look as much of a task as it actually was. 4-0 the final score against a Nordsjaelland side who gave a strong account of themselves in their first home fixture in the competition.
    • 90+1' Torres tripped by Okore in the centre circle for a Chelsea free-kick.
    • 90' Three minutes added on at the end.
    • 89' GOAL! 4-0 Chelsea as Oscar bursts between two defenders from Torres' lay-off and squares for a Ramires tap-in.
    • 88' Luiz sweeps up a bit of over-confidence as Laudrup tries to close down to passing across the back line.
    • 87' The difference between Chelsea now and Chelsea 20 minutes ago is something. They just didn't have the confidence to kill this game off until it actually happened. Now they are carrying themselves like a side who have dished out a drubbing.
    • 85' Nordsjaelland's final change sees Michael Laudrup's son Andreas on for Lorentzen.
    • 84' Lampard blasts a shot over the bar from 20 yards. He had time and space to do better there.
    • 83' This scoreline is not going to reflect fairly on the Danish club, but it was easy to imagine that heads would go down after fighting so hard for a leveller and going two down to a free-kick as good as Luiz's.
    • 82' MATA! It's three! The resistance has been shattered by the Luiz goal and the Spaniard gets his second after his attempt to thread Lampard through is blocked and comes back into his path. 0-3
    • 80' That sound you hear right now is thousands of Chelsea fans breathing a collective sigh of relief. The sound you hear after that is all of them checking Jores Okore's FIFA 13 stats.
    • 79' Now another Chelsea free-kick, a few yardsa further out and more to the left. Luiz will take this one... AND IT'S IN! Excellent set play from the Brazilian and Chelsea finally have a comfortable advantage. 0-2
    • 78' Lampard's strike from the set piece hits the wall. Wasted opportunity.
    • 77' Now Ramires evades Runje only for the defender to bring him down before he can strike inside the 'D'. That's an easy booking.
    • 76' Lovely play from Mata and Hazard on the right leads to a delivery which is headed clear of the path of both Oscar and Torres.
    • 75' Soren Christensen is on for Beckmann in Nordsjaelland's second switch.
    • 74' Replays show Cech got vital fingertips on the John strike...
    • 73' Chelsea fail to clear their lines and John cuts inside, skips a challenge and curls an effort onto Cech's post! Beckmann's follow-up blocked by Cole! Chelsea skating on thin ice!
    • 72' First sign of quality from Hazard as he beats two players before Okore comes over to end the run. The Belgian fouls the defender and concedes a free-kick.
    • 70' RVP's second has Man Utd ahead now at Cluj - and it was some goal, too. Cluj v Man Utd: LIVE
    • 69' Mtilga with a nice delivery from the left and Luiz again has to react quickest to prevent a close range chance for the home team.
    • 68' Beckmann caught offside coming across to the left wing.
    • 67' Game just quietening down a bit now, which favours Chelsea who at a goal up have had to weather it a bit in the last 10 minutes.
    • 65' Both sides make their first substitution of the match: Mario Ticinovic replaces Nordstrand for the Danes, and Eden Hazard enters the fray at the expense of Moses.
    • 64' Parkhurst cuts the ball inside where Beckmann drives wide of the far post. The home side continue to enjoy good spells in the middle of each half.
    • 63' Stokholm! Good drive and an equally strong parry from Cech to keep out an equaliser!
    • 62' Again John breaks down the left and Luiz clears his low cross.
    • 61' Cahill has a dig from 30 yards out and doesn't trouble Hansen's goal at all.
    • 60' Okore strides inside the Chelsea half with the ball, eventually picking out Beckmann with a raking through pass but the striker loops his header with too much behind it and the shot does not dip in time. Goal kick.
    • 59' John leads a break from the hosts but has to settle for an attacking throw on the left.
    • 58' Moses tries to skin Parkhurst, but ends up incarcerated (ha) by the right-back and has nowhere to go until the defender can clear.
    • 57' Oscar fends off three red shirts to try and slip a ball through to Mata but the numbers game finally pays off for Nordsjaelland and they clear.
    • 55' Okore prevents Torres moving through on goal. The bandaged centre-back is having an inspired game.
    • 54' Max Bendle (@maxbendle) says "I predict chelsea 3-0 torres twice or torres and oscar............................. or cech", and Arup Singh (@arupjack) is, and I quote... "..waiting for Torres goal"
    • 53' Moses mugs Parkhurst for possession but the whistle goes for a foul by the former Wigan man just before he slots the ball home.
    • 52' The set piece is cleared but the Danes remain in possession and John cuts inside from the left to lash a low shot from 20 yards outside of the near post.
    • 51' Nordsjaelland counter and Ramires catches Beckmann for a free-kick 32 yards out on the right.
    • 50' Mata takes Chelsea's second successive flag kick, from the other wing this time, but the hosts get it away.
    • 49' Chelsea have the first corner of the half. Lampard's in-swinger looks almost on target and reinforcing that observation is Hansen's flapping hand to stop it doing just that.
    • 48' Torres is then beaten to a central through pass into the area by keeper Hansen.
    • 47' Two very early Torres offsides in the half as the £50million man twice exploits the home side's attempts to play their way out from the back.
    • 46' The home team get the second half started. They trail by the solitary Mata goal.
    • 45+1' The hosts look to attack with numbers but fluff their lines and lose the ball. And there's the whistle. Chelsea lead at the break by Juan Mata's strike but occasional hesitation aside, the Danish champions have looked half-decent. Keep your thoughts coming through the interval via Twitter @liamhappe
    • 45' One minute of added time at the end of the half. Harry Freud (@freudianskid) says: "Chelsea cannot afford to do what they did against juventus which was they got complacent. A win going into Donetsk is vital"
    • 44' Torres! Saved by Hansen! It's put back in the Spaniard's path but though he nets, he's well offside the second time around.
    • 43' Moses threatens on the counter until that man Okore intervenes again. Can you imagine if he did have to go off injured?
    • 42' Joe Sawaya (@thejoesawaya) says: "It is an away day champions league game! I would be surprised if it were easy! But chelsea to explode now"
    • 41' Mtilga has a long distance crack at goal but Cech has no problems making the save.
    • 40' The Nordsjaelland set piece is cleared but they remain in possession.
    • 39' Van Persie has Man United level at Cluj and came close to a second, too. LIVE coverage
    • 38' The amusingly-named Parkhurst whips a fierce driven cross in from the right and Cahill has to concede the corner.
    • 37' Almost a slick one-two between Oscar and Mata but the latter's attempt at a chipped return ball is headed away.
    • 35' This will be a good measuring stick of Nordsjaelland's European credentials now - will they have the character to bounce back even if it ends in defeat?
    • 34' It wasn't easy for Chelsea in the first 33 minutes but do you think it will be plain sailing now they are ahead? Follow me on Twitter @liamhappe and let me know!
    • 33' GOAL! The resistance comes to an end as Adu is caught in possession trying to play his way out of his own final third and Torres and Lampard work it through to Mata for a cool finish. 0-1
    • 32' Lovely slide rule pass inside the right-back by Ramires for Cole's overlap, but Okore comes across to slide it out of play. Even faster than his recovery sprint is his surge towards cult hero status.
    • 31' Torres is fouled by the bionic Okore on the halfway line. Quiet game so far though both sides look confident in possession.
    • 30' Chelsea break and win their first corner of the match. Decent delivery by Mata but headed away.
    • 29' Lampard blocks an Adu shot from 20 yards.
    • 27' Ivanovic cuts out a swift counter after the Danes almost waste possession from the defensive set piece.
    • 26' Mata bundles over the home skipper Stokholm for a free-kick inside his own half.
    • 25' The main action from all seven Champions League games currently playing is available with our multiplex: Champions League LIVE
    • 24' Now an unforced error from the England centre-back allows the impressive Nordsjaelland to keep the pressure on from an attacking throw.
    • 23' Adu sends a good cross in from the right but Cahill gets it away.
    • 21' Now Torres at the other end lets rip from 20 and it's a good block with legs by Hansen in goal.
    • 20' Low cross from the left into Lorentzen who is eight yards from goal! Cole in with a terrific slide challenge to prevent another worrying start for an English club!
    • 19' Couple of early goals - Barcelona one up at Benfica may not be a surprise, nor would a certain Argentine getting the goal, but Cluj leading Manchester United certainly is! Cluj v Man Utd: LIVE
    • 17' Corner taken short but the eventual delivery is easy pickings for Cech.
    • 16' More defensive complacency as Nordstrand is picked out near the 'D' in acres of space and Luiz closes down his turning shot for a corner.
    • 15' Now an errant cross-field pass attempt from Cole is picked up by John, who lashes a 25-yarder off target.
    • 14' Decent spell in attack, actually, as Stokholm gets a good ball into the Chelsea box from the right and the blue shirts have to be alert to clear the danger.
    • 13' Offside against striker Joshua John.
    • 12' Now Okore beats Torres to a ball played down the left channel. Big man points for that chap early on.
    • 11' Impressively, Okore is finally back with heavy bandaging on his head to hearty applause.
    • 10' Now Mata strides down the right flank and pulls the centre back for Lampard to strike on the edge of the box and it's just over the bar!
    • 9' Torres almost has a chance after a Danish clearance richochets off the back of Cole but he leaves the ball behind while trying to skip past Runje.
    • 8' Still no return from Okore, still getting treated in the dugout.
    • 7' Offside called against Beckmann as Nordsjaelland look to attack for the first time.
    • 6' Home goalkeeper Jesper Hansen makes a routine catch for a long Chelsea free-kick whipped in from the halfway line.
    • 5' Some predictions are coming in: Richard Murray (@thetenner10) didn't leave a score but says "should be a win for Chelsea" while David Miller {@ebblon) says "3-1 to Chelsea with Torres scoring a double and Oscar with a goal as well" and Ahmad Dana @ahmaddana1 says "my prediction is 3-0 (Torres,Torres and Moses)".
    • 4' Okore is cut from that collision and goes off the pitch for treatment. His eyes are glazed and I'd be surprised if he came back.
    • 3' Defender Okore bravely denies Moses an easy finish to a lovely floated cross from the right but clatters the far post in the process.
    • 2' Early attack from Chelsea sees Oscar drag either a shot or an assist attempt wide of the far post.
    • 1' Chelsea get the match underway.
    • 19:45 The teams are on the pitch and kick-off is moments away. Any predictions or thoughts you want published?
    • 19:40 All three of Nordsjælland’s shots on matchday one hit the target. They also picked up a joint-high five yellow cards.
    • 19:35 Chelsea have drawn their last three matches in Europe, and have only won one of their last seven Champions League away games (W1 D3 L3) since that win over Copenhagen in February 2011.
    • 19:30 Chelsea have won four and lost none of their six European matches against Danish opposition. Their last meeting with a Danish team came in the 2010-11 last-16 when they won 2-0 away and secured progress to the next round with a 0-0 draw at home to FC Copenhagen.
    • 19:25 Chelsea may be European champions, but they are actually looking for their first win in four Champions League games. Their 2-2 draw with Juventus on Matchday One this season followed the Blues' 1-1 draw in the final (which they won on penalties) and their 2-2 draw in the second leg of their semi-final against Barcelona. Nordsjælland are bottom of the group after their 2-0 defeat at Shakhtar last time out. Group E details
    • 19:20 You may have spotted the name Laudrup on the Nordsjælland substitute's bench. Andreas is the son of Swansea manager, Michael.
    • 19:15 We have already had one big result this evening in Europe after Celtic claimed a dramatic 3-2 win at Spartak Moscow. Georgios Samaras scored the winner in the 90th minute after the Russians had gone down to 10 men. Match report
    • 19:10 Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo: (Frank Lampard's) future is very strong at this club. He's a very important player for us. I've had conversations with him, yeah, which I do on a regular basis with the players. I like to exchange opinions. He's been playing (an anchor) role, but I don't think I've ever taken those other things away from him. Those are his strengths, but you sometimes need discipline in that role. It's important for the balance of the team.
    • 19:05 Nordsjælland boss Kasper Hjulmand: "What we are facing right now is the biggest test of all. We are meeting the champions of the Champions League, they are in front in the Premier League, six games, I think 16 points, only had three goals scored against them in the league. So, of course, this is one of the best teams in the world. I think maybe a salary of just one of their players is the whole budget for our club for a year."
    • 19:00 Blues striker Daniel Sturridge did not make the trip to Scandinavia at all as his hamstring problem has failed to fully heal in time. John Terry is on the bench as he returns from his European ban which saw him miss Chelsea's victory in last season's final. Victor Moses makes his first European appearance while Eden Hazard is also among the substitutes. Sturridge misses Chelsea trip

  1. Yeah, thank you Shaun for your comment on Chelsea. Thumb's down for you though because you said the actual thing but you didn't really see your comment from the right perspective with which you said it. Let me quickly show you some highlights of your statement. You said Roman chose Chelsea and that's why WE are doing great, you said if he had chosen Arsenal the same would have happened, yes you are wright but you are forgetting something i said in my statement that Chelsea is God's own club. That's why He made Roman to choose Chelsea and end all the sufferings we 've been facing all these while. God works in mysterious ways, He does as he likes. So my brother don't blame Roman for choosing Chelsea cos if you do then you are saying God is wrong and God is never wrong, He is always and will forever be wright. So, just accept it as a Destiny. It's nobody's handy work but the Lord's. Thank you and God Bless. Up chelsea......... Chelsea for life bro. Join us and you 'll never regret it because GOD is with us all in Chelsea club.

  2. The only reason that Chelsea are "allowed " to operate in this realm is because Abramovic chose you and not another club. Arsenal have done it the right way and deserve respect. Chelsea are the play thing of a very rich man who has ruined the English game.  Just like Man City, you really have no credibility. Of course you think you are here on merit. But you ain't. You're here by chance. It's a fluke. Abramovic could have chosen another club and you'd have to exist within your means just like most other clubs.

  3. The only reason that Chelsea are "allowed " to operate in this realm is because Abramović chose you and not another club. Arsenal have done it the right way and deserve respect. Chelsea are the play thing of a very rich man who has ruined the English game. Just like Man City, You really have no credibility

  4. Happy Chelsea fans. Blues are getting close to ideal form play by play. Di Matteo should find his optimum arrangement sooner, otherwise Blue's momentum may be faded.

yay,..glad to see torres scores against a rubbish team from nowhere,..oh wait..he didnt score..but he work so hard..hurm..even shevchenko and emile heskey work so hard..but they were once great..but turn to rubbish..just like EL NO-NO GOAL torres

  8. Yeah, great win to Chelsea and for all of us Chelsea fans but we must face it. We are not playing well serious enough,i mean kill all these shy opponents off from the start. It was mixed feelings on my side for Torres last night. He should be brutal and be techically strong. A good example was seen in Falcao when he was playing Chelsea in the super cup, he knew he was playing against the best team in Europe and He came out smoking against Chelsea.I so appreciate his urge and fight against us. I think Torres should get the video and watch how hungry and with complete determination and dedication that guy played or else i fear the worse of an end for Torres in a Chelsea shirt. Chelsea is God's own personal team and we are so enjoying His grace all the time we play but God worked to achieve the greatest of things we enjoy today on the Earth so Torres should work and be seen as one the best in the World by banging in Goals on all fronts and all other things in terms of accolades will follow for him. He is in a club where he can achieve accolades of becoming the best player in the world and in Europe because God is a Chelsea fan and He is with us in a completely and special form. So i do believe if Torres works hard enough and with God on our side he will be good and better and even become the best footballer in him. Up Chelsea...Chelsea for ever. Great win for us and more of it to come. God Bless.

  9. @Big Dave, #60 I'm guessing you're tired with life bcos you're too big....Oh I mean too Fat, so you think hating on the champions is the right thing to do. And for those talking about parking the bus, please note this, you can't "park the bus" and still score a goal because the goal is far away from where you park the bus, and then you talk of being down to ten men against Eleven men of Barcelona. It's all tactics y'all twatiiiesss...game plan in a very simple english.
