    • 90+5' FULL TIME: Birmingham 2 Leicester 0. Thanks for joining us - Marlon King and Chris Wood inflict the Foxes' first away defeat of the league season.
    • 90+4' Burke has what will surely be the final attempt of the game - it goes over the bar.
    • 90+3' Beckford has a speculative effort as off target as Mills' was in the first half.
    • 90+3' Birmingham deserve this win for the way they set about their business in the second half. Leicester simply didn't do enough to trouble Myhill, even before being reduced to 10 men.
    • 90+1' Nikola Zigic is on for Wood, who grabbed that clincher a few minutes ago. We're playing four minutes of added time.
    • 90' Time is up and we're about to enter into injury time - this is a good three points for Birmingham.
    • 88' The Foxes are still trying their best to come up with a response but they're slipping to their first away defeat of the league season.
    • 86' Wade Elliott is on for Beausejour, who was heavily involved this afternoon.
    • 85' Fahey fed Marlon King for the inventive through ball and it was a cool finish by Wood, who has proved an excellent loan acquisition.
    • 84' GOAL! Birmingham wrap it up on the break as Wood sprints clear and keeps his cool to round Schmeichel and slip home. Marlon King's lovely pass set it up nicely.
    • 83' Leicester play some neat football but Carr gets in a fine tackle to relieve some of the pressure.
    • 81' Andy King goes down under Ridgewell's challenge inside the area. It's a good shout for a penalty but the referee says 'no'.
    • 80' Konchesky cracks a left-foot shot well wide when a cross from Pantsil is cleared to him outside the box.
    • 78' Beckford can't divert a Wellens cross anywhere near the target. No more than a half chance at best.
    • 77' King races through but Schmeichel is out quickly and spreads himself to make a fine stop. Wood's backheel set it up.
    • 76' Beckford has a shot blocked by Ridgewell at source - 15 minutes to go.
    • 74' Schmeichel's huge hoof forward is helped on by Nugent but Beckford can't profit and Ridgewell heads back to Myhill.
    • 72' Wood looks to wrap things up as he capitalises on a lapse by Peltier but his powerful drive is beaten away well by Schmeichel.
    • 72' Pantsil over-hits a routine cross from the right - much to Nugent's frustration in the middle.
    • 71' Schmeichel pumps a goal-kick forward and his side aren't out of this yet.
    • 69' A flashpoint between Burke and Fernandes leads to a speaking to from referee Wright.
    • 67' Nugent is caught offside again when Beckford gets his first touch and prods the ball through.
    • 66' Beckford is on for Vassell, who goes off to jeers from the home fans. The ex-Everton striker is fit again and could prove a threat.
    • 65' No complaints with the second half, it's really stirred into action. Can Eriksson reorganise his troops to prompt a fightback for the 10 men?
    • 63' Richie Wellens comes on in place of Abe as Eriksson shuffles his pack again.
    • 62' King is working tirelessly now in attack and almost catches Bamba out with his energy.
    • 60' Fahey springs forward after a mistake by Abe but his shot is easily handled by Schmeichel.
    • 59' Nugent is then also given offside at the other end for starting his run just too early.
    • 59' King races through but is flagged offside - and he was beyond the last defender.
    • 57' John Pantsil is on for Danns as Eriksson makes a change.
    • 56' The referee Wright is right again. Mills has both feet off the ground when launching into the tackle on Gomis. Shocking stuff from the skipper.
    • 55' All credit to the official on that close call so quickly after entering the fray. He's got another major decision as the red card is flashed towards Mills for a rash challenge.
    • 53' Beausejour is heavily involved as he commits a foul just outside his own box, rather foolishly when he's already on a yellow card.
    • 52' In fact, another angle shows there's more contact with the winger's foot than the ball. King was a touch unlucky but it's probably the right decision.
    • 52' It may have looked a penalty to the referee but King appeared to get a large touch of the ball, even if he should perhaps have seen the inevitable coming together happening.
    • 51' It's King's first goal in the Championship for Birmingham, although he had scored in the Europa League.
    • 50' GOAL! Marlon King takes the responsibility and sends Schmeichel the wrong way from the spot. 1-0.
    • 49' The ball breaks loose and Beausejour latches onto it before falling, perhaps theatrically, when King gets a foot on the ball. It's a big call from referee Wright as he awards a penalty.
    • 48' Beausejour wins a corner and Blues' tails are up. Much better from Hughton's side at the start of this half.
    • 47' Already we've had more excitement than in the entire first half. Beausejour picks the ball up and unleashes a left-foot howitzer that thuds against Schmeichel's right-hand post. Great effort.
    • 46' There didn't seem to be much urgency from Mr Wright but Birmingham kick off and we have a game on our hands once more.
    • 46' The second half is about to get underway. Let's hope it's better than the first. The delay was down to the referee being injured so fourth official Kevin Wright has taken over in the middle.
    • 45+2' HALF TIME: Birmingham 0 Leicester 0. Drab and disappointing, let's hope for better after the break.
    • 45+1' Two minutes of stoppage time are going to be played.
    • 45' This hasn't been a good advert for Championship football and the half-time whistle will at least give the two managers a chance to come up with some new ideas for their teams.
    • 43' Konchesky fouls Carr and concedes a free-kick on the right flank. Beausejour takes it but the ball is headed away at the near post by Andy King.
    • 42' The match finally sparks into some life with a real scramble in midfield that at least gets the fans off their seats. Nothing comes of it, though, with Vassell muscled out of it by Beausejour.
    • 41' This match is drifting towards being goalless at the interval. Neither side has done enough to warrant being ahead.
    • 39' Myhill has the ball in his hands and any danger quickly passes. Some of the crossing has been particularly poor.
    • 38' Yuki Abe wins a free-kick which Konchesky takes and finds Bamba but Caldwell dives to head behind for a corner.
    • 37' Vassell ruins a promising move when his heavy pass gives Nugent no chance of catching it.
    • 36' Marlon King curls in a dreadful cross from the right that goes straight to Schmeichel.
    • 34' Thankfully, Peltier is okay to come back on - it wasn't the prettiest of challenges from Beausejour in truth.
    • 33' Beausejour clatters into Peltier with a rash challenge. It's an obvious yellow card for the Chilean winger.
    • 31' Andy King gets forward but can only steer a weak header towards Myhill, who scoops it up gratefully.
    • 30' Half an hour on the clock and we've had one chance apiece now in the sunshine. Not too surprising that it's 0-0 though.
    • 28' Mills joins the attack for a long throw-in and he battles for the ball before clubbing in a shot that is pushed behind well by Myhill. Leicester's best moment so far.
    • 27' It's pretty dull to be honest - just the one chance so far, that Caldwell header wide. Leicester look solid and in control, if a little unspectacular, while Birmingham's best hope of a goal could come from a set-piece based on the evidence so far.
    • 25' Nugent barges Ibanez over when chasing a Vassell pass and it's a clear free-kick. Good defending by the former West Brom centre-back.
    • 23' A punt forward from Schmeichel should be controlled by Nugent but the striker misses it completely when attempting to use his chest and shows his frustration.
    • 22' Fernandes' cross is too strong for Danns and it is allowed to drift behind for a goal-kick.
    • 21' Nugent is flagged offside when trying to get clear down the middle - he's starting to look a handful.
    • 19' Keith Fahey drills a lovely pass out wide to the left to Marlon King but, to jeers from the visiting fans, the striker's touch lets him down.
    • 17' Pablo Ibanez concedes a corner under pressure from Nugent. Neil Danns ends up with two flag-kicks that are cleared and a third is forthcoming when the ball deflects off Wood and behind.
    • 16' Burke emerges with the ball after an untidy passage of play ends with a decent move by Blues. The effort is easy for Schmeichel to deal with, however.
    • 15' Vassell works hard to get in a cross from the left despite the attentions of Carr but it goes straight to Myhill.
    • 14' Steven Caldwell gets his head onto a deep free-kick but nods it wide. A good chance for the home side.
    • 12' Sol Bamba diverts the ball behind for a corner after Carr feeds Burke and the winger's cross is delivered into the danger zone.
    • 11' Mills has a horrible shot from a long way out - it clears the bar by some distance, to say the least.
    • 10' Gelson Fernandes is showing up well in midfield and getting his foot on the ball, which is refreshing as both teams are also hitting a lot of long balls.
    • 8' Lee Peltier wins a free-kick following a foul by Liam Ridgewell. Jean Beausejour has also been picked up for a late tackle. Paul Konchesky's set-piece goes straight to Boaz Myhill.
    • 6' Kasper Schmeichel has the ball in his hands after his poor kick gifts the ball to the hosts. Chris Burke had the shot but it lacked power.
    • 5' It's been a low-key opening and the atmosphere's already gone a little flat. Leicester are usually tight at the back and look well organised.
    • 3' Vassell, who is predictably being booed after his time at Aston Villa, picks up a loose ball and has a gallop forward but the move breaks down.
    • 2' Birmingham start in the ascendancy but David Nugent has a chase of a long ball forward.
    • 1' The Leicester team have had a huddle on the pitch. It's the Foxes, in all white, who get us underway.
    • 12:58 Matt Mills and Carr shake hands in the centre-circle - the minute's applause for young Harry Moseley is now taking place.
    • 12:56 The two teams are out on the pitch to a good reception. We're almost ready to get underway.
    • 12:55 Chris Hughton says there's a "good spirit" at Birmingham while Eriksson says his side have been "very solid and defending as a team so of course we are happy."
    • 12:49 Jermaine Beckford and Michael Johnson are fit enough to take a place on the bench for the visitors.
    • 12:46 The Foxes are unbeaten in nine games and demolished Derby 4-0 in their last outing.
    • 12:42 Stephen Carr returns for Blues as captain and Marlon King and Chris Wood are back in attack to ruffle a few feathers.
    • 12:40 Birmingham are planning a minute's applause before kick-off for brave fan Harry Moseley who sadly passed away from brain cancer aged only 11.
    • 12:35 Graham Salisbury from Lancashire is today's referee with kick-off around 25 minutes away.
    • 12:34 TEAMS: BIRMINGHAM: Myhill, Carr, Caldwell, Ibanez, Ridgewell, Burke, Gomis, Fahey, Beausejour, Wood, M.King. • 12:26 We're hearing Leicester are naming an unchanged side but full details will follow.
    • 12:17 Three points for Sven-Goran Eriksson's Foxes would propel them from 12th all the way up to fifth in the Championship table. Birmingham need to start climbing up the places themselves as they sit in 18th following their relegation last term.
    • 12:15 Birmingham face Leicester in an all-Midlands affair at 1pm. We'll have all the action covered here, starting with the team news when available.
