    Time:90'
    • Bristol City
    • Middlesbrough
    • 90+5 Late corner for the hosts and James is up for it, but Boro clear to take all three points and the Robins' unbeaten run comes to an end.
    • 90+4 Pitman almost gets on to a Maynard scuff but is ushered off the ball.
    • 90+2 Kilkenny launches it long, Pitman takes it down but his volley bobbles wide.
    • 90+1 Five minutes of added time
    • 90' GOOOOOAL!!! What a strike from the substitute!!! Martin with it!! As soon as it left his foot it seemed destined for the top corner. It was past James before he could react. Literally, you will not see a better strike. 1-0 and surely third place.
    • 89' Emnes looks for the ball in behind but Wilson reads it and clears. Boro work the ball again to Emnes, who overruns the ball before drawing the foul from Wilson. Poor defending. Last chance?
    • 86' Boro work the ball well down the right with McMahon and Hoyte, the latter slings over a cross but there isn't a Boro player in sight - a shocking lack of ambition for a side who could move to third with a win.
    • 84' We have a slight hiatus for an injury to Williams, who has probably been Boro's stand out performer.
    • 82' An increase in urgency now as both sides realise anything now and it is probably all three points. Boro have successive corners. James considers coming for the second but decides against it and rightly so.
    • 80' Adomah looks to find Maynard in behind but he goes a split-second too soon and the assistant referee's flag is aloft.
    • 78' Williams does well to come across as cut out a Pitman through ball as Maynard looked to spring the offside trap.
    • 76' Martin enters the fray at the expense of Arca.
    • 75' Wonderful save from Steele. He manages to get down low to divert substitute Brett Pitman's effort wide of the post. Pitman was the quickest to react to a cross-shot from Adomah. Great reaction save.
    • 73' Emnes really has to hit the target there when he elects to shoot from just outside the area with Hoyte offering support to the right.
    • 71' Pitman for Pearson is the second change for the home side.
    • 69' Haroun draws a free-kick down the right but Arca's delivery is poor. The Robins break at speed with Adomah, who finds Bolasie but his cross is just behind Maynard. Kilkenny collects the loose ball and his cross is surely charged down by the arm of Arca. Penalty, surely. James Linington is unmoved, though.
    • 67' Bailey looks in a lot of pain and that is a really, really poor challenge from Bolasie, who appears to leave his leg in on the midfielder and catch him with his studs in the stomach.
    • 66' A McMahon corner evades everyone and Arca fires it back in. McDonald looks to capitalise on some hesitation in the home defence but they finally clear.
    • 64' Definite increase in tempo here and it has suited Boro. Emnes continues to look bright for the visitors.
    • 62' Bolasie for Woolford for the home side.
    • 61' Haroun gets in down the right and James spills his cross with Emnes ready to pounce. Fontaine clears before Emnes comes close to breaking the deadlock almost straight after but James claims the effort quite comfortably.
    • 60' Chance. First quality ball of the half. Haroun times his run to perfection to come onto the ball in from Bennett, but the cross comes off his shoulder and off to saftey. Big chance in the scheme of this match.
    • 58' Bates comes across to clear his lines as the home side again look to spring the offside trap.
    • 56' Emnes has to come deep into his own half but holds the ball up well and Boro work it well from the back.
    • 54' Adomah looks for Maynard in behind but the pass just doesn't have enough on it.
    • 52' Wilson steps in to clear for the home side, who have been under an almost constant stream of pressure this half. Decent ball in from Haroun from the resulting throw but neither striker gambled and the ball drifts harmlessly wide.
    • 50' The corner breaks to Hoyte but his effort from outside the box, although well struck, is always rising.
    • 49' Fontaine goes through the back of McDonald as the striker looks to turn and shoot. The referee James Linington blows his whistle for a foul. McMahon and Arca over the ball but it looks to favour McMahon. He does take the shot on but it hits the wall. Corner.
    • 47' Early free-kick. Skuse catches Bennett just as he releases the ball. Bristol City appear to have started with a higher defensive line this half - maybe to try to put some pressure on the Boro back four.
    • 46' Boro get the second forty-five underway.
    • - No changes to either line-up at half-time.
    • 45+3 That's it from the first half. 0-0.
    • 45+2 Bailey does a fantastic job in front of the Boro defence and he is there again to clear up as Kilkenny looks to find some space in and around the box.
    • 45' Two minutes of added time at Ashton Gate in the first half.
    • 44' Adomah with an enticing ball in but a Boro head meets it. City really probing here as the half comes to an end.
    • 43' Skuse gets in behind Bennett but his cross is too close to Steele. Chance there.
    • 41' Rhys Williams does well to get a block on a Maynard effort from distance.
    • 39' Kilkenny exchanges passes with Woolford but again the final ball is lacklustre. It doesn't have enough on it and a Boro defender steps up to intercept and clear.
    • 37' Woolford does well to collect a second ball under some pressure and finds Adomah, who cuts inside before firing an effort straight at a Boro leg. Had some venom in it that one.
    • 35' In terms of quality, there hasn't been much on show thus far. The build-up play from both sides has had some merit but that final ball with real quality has been sorely missing thus far. This time Bennett's cross has too much on it and it skims the head of McDonald.
    • 33' Great break from Adomah, but Boro do well to crowd him out. The home side work the ball back until it comes to Adomah again but his cross has little direction.
    • 31' Boro look a little more composed but the home side probably are offering more threat and a quick break leads to a corner.
    • 29' Great job there from Bailey, who dispossess Kilkenny before finding McDonald. McDonald looks to slip the ball between Wilson and Fontaine for Emnes but he Wilson steps across to intervene.
    • 27' Arca collects a poor clearance from the home defence and works an angle to shoot. He can't work the ball on to his favoured left and the strike from his right leaves a lot to be desired.
    • 25' Wilson and Fontaine step up as McDonald strays offside.
    • 23' Bailey lifts the ball over the Bristol City defence but McDonald just can't get to it as David James mops up at the back.
    • 21' A little bit of a robust challenge from Cisse on Bailey and McMahon delivers from just inside their opponents half. Poor delivery.
    • 19' Slight hiatus for an injury to Hoyte after he hurdles the advertising hoarding before hitting the deck.
    • 17' From a tactical point of view, Bristol City probably need to get a little more pressure on the ball when the Boro backline have it.
    • 15' Bristol City in the ascendancy here.
    • 13' Super double save from Steele. Skuse crosses for Woolford, Steele saves his bouncing effort but just can't hang on. The ball falls to Maynard, who looks set to score only for Steele to somehow manage to close down the space and block.
    • 11' Kilkenny receives the ball under pressure in the box and quickly moves it on to Maynard, whose shot, under pressure, fails to trouble Steele.
    • 9' Kilkenny has a shot from distance after some good pressing from the home side. Always rising though, that one.
    • 7' Arca finds Bennett in behind and he puts in an inviting ball across the box but Skuse clears for a throw.
    • 5' Bristol City are on a good run of form but a win Boro moves them into third behind West Ham.
    • 3' James collects a whipped Bennett effort early on.
    • 1' Bristol City get the game underway after a minutes applause for Gary Speed.
    • - Bristol City: James, Skuse, Wilson, Fontaine, McGivern, Adomah, Kilkenny, Cisse, Pearson, Woolford, Maynard. Subs: Gerken, Carey, Bolasie, Campbell-Ryce, Pitman /// Middlesbrough: Steele, McMahon, Bates, Rhys Williams, Hoyte, Haroun, Bailey, Arca, Bennett, McDonald, Emnes. Subs: Zemmama, McManus, Ogbeche, Martin, Nimely.
    • - But while manager Tony Mowbray will hope to have Robson at his disposal, the former Celtic man's chances of being joined in the squad by compatriot Kevin Thomson look remote. Thomson has missed the last seven games with a hamstring injury and is rated as doubtful for the game at Ashton Gate.
    • - Midfielder Barry Robson is a doubt for Middlesbrough. The Scotland international missed Tuesday night's 2-0 home defeat by promotion-chasing West Ham with a thigh problem and his recovery will be assessed in the run-up to the game.
    • - Otherwise, manager Derek McInnes has no new injury or suspension worries as he looks to extend his team's unbeaten run in the npower Championship to seven matches. Striker Jon Stead is back in contention for a place in the Robins' matchday squad after shrugging off a groin problem, while defensive duo Louis Carey and Jamie McAllister are both ready for a comeback following their returns from respective knee and ankle injuries.
    • - Team news: Bristol City are sweating over the fitness of Lewin Nyatanga. Defender Nyatanga picked up a knee injury in the 2-2 draw with Watford on Tuesday and is rated doubtful for the clash with Boro.
    • 17:10 Ashton Gate is brimming with anticipation following the earlier results.
