    • 90+2' It's over! West Ham are going to Wembley! Goals from Nolan, Vaz Te and Maynard put them into the play-off final in style. They are one game away from a return to the Premier League. • 90+1' That was Maynard's first goal at the Boelyn, by the way.
    • 90' Two minutes of added time.
    • 89' Lansbury through pass to Maynard! Can he put the exclamation mark on this? He can! What a delightful curling finish! Three on the day, five in the semi!
    • 88' "Bubbles" reaches full volume as the Hammers prepare for confirmation of their Wembley trip. They have been by far the better side.
    • 86' Cole is replaced by Nicky Maynard.
    • 85' Looks like the Hammers are ready to make their final change...
    • 84' Green plucks a Whittingham centre from the right out of the air, as it seems the away side won't even be able to get a consolation goal out of this miserable Bank Holiday.
    • 83' Lawrence is wide with a fierce low drive from outside the area.
    • 82' Final sub for Cardiff sees Darcy Blake come on for McNaughton, who probably isn't at 100% just yet.
    • 81' Reid has a shot blocked from Tomkins' raking free-kick from the back, before Cole almost gets onto Taylor's cross. Corner once again.
    • 80' Booking for Whittingham for a foul on O'Neil.
    • 79' Taylor! Low finish saved by Marshall! If any player deserved a goal for the two-legged semi...
    • 78' Almost a chance for Cowie but the ball goes out for a goal kick, while the sub is furious there wasn't a penalty given.
    • 77' O'Neil is all smiles as he has his nose filled with cotton and he should continue.
    • 76' Filip Kiss and Don Cowie replace McPhail and Miller in a double switch from Malky Mackay.
    • 75' Taylor's delivery leads to another one, which is taken short to Nolan. Back to Taylor whose cross thumps team-mate O'Neil right in the face. Play stops.
    • 74' The offside flag brings the move to an end rather abruptly. Here they come again though and despite the fans' shouts for a penalty as Hudson goes in on Taylor, that's a good challenge at the expense of a corner.
    • 73' West Ham win a free-kick just inside the Cardiff half and take it short.
    • 71' After an initial clearance, Tomkins is unable to head the second delivery on towards Cole. Goal kick.
    • 70' Hudson is forced to concede another Irons corner as the East Londoners close in on Wembley.
    • 69' Nolan gets a standing ovation as he's granted an early shower break, making way for the left-back.
    • 68' George McCartney is ready to come on shortly.
    • 67' Reid is the first man booked for the hosts.
    • 66' Vaz Te almost through on the right... nope, offside.
    • 65' Miller's drive over the bar from 25 yards is met by ironic cheers from the home fans.
    • 64' Any early picks for man of the two-legged tie? Collison? Vaz Te? Tomkins? Follow me @liamhappe and tweet over your picks.
    • 63' Lansbury presses for an error in the Bluebirds' final third but can only provoke a goal kick.
    • 62' Possession so far: West Ham 51%-49% Cardiff.
    • 60' Noble comes back to help the defence snuff out the threat of McNaughton, who has been a rare plus point for the away side.
    • 59' It's Cardiff with all the possession at the moment. Hammers understandably willing to just soak it all up.
    • 58' Green does the same at the other end from McNaughton's ball in.
    • 57' Marshall makes a routine catch on a cross from the right.
    • 55' Reports coming through that Collison is on his way to the local hospital, purely as a precaution. Was limping slightly and clutching his ribs as he went off, but not sure of the exact fear as of yet.
    • 54' It's headed back across goal at the far post but the hosts play their way out of danger for the time being.
    • 53' A Whittingham delivery is headed behind for a Cardiff corner.
    • 51' The set piece heads straight into the Cardiff box, but the hosts are unable to fashion a shot. O'Neil closes down a clearance, but it's out for a Blues throw.
    • 50' Hudson gets the game's first yellow card as well.
    • 49' That's another painful challenge, this time Hudson on Vaz Te, and that one did not win the ball. Free-kick to West Ham just inside the Cardiff half.
    • 48' Collison is being helped off the pitch by a trainer and will be replaced by Henri Lansbury.
    • 47' Collison is left in a heap by a crunching (but fair) challenge from Taylor, and receives treatment from the club staff.
    • 46' The home side, 4-0 up on aggregate, kick off the second half.
    • 45+2' That's half time. 45 minutes separate West Ham from Wembley, barring a four-goal salvo from the despondent visitors. Impossible or not, keep sending your thoughts via Twitter, including who you think will join (presumably...) the Irons at Wembley out of Blackpool and Birmingham. Follow me @liamhappe
    • 45+1' Tomkins heads a ball from the left clear of danger.
    • 45' Two minutes of added time at the end of the first half.
    • 44' Cole heads another effort off-target.
    • 43' @LVL6MANKEY adds: "all that needs to be said...cardiff 4-0 down now.....playing with one striker." - I am kinda gutted there will be no free steak...
    • 42' Vaz Te is in pain after an accidentall clash with McNaughton and hopes to walk this one off.
    • 41' Game over. Sam will not want his men to switch off, but this is mission impossible for a sub-par Cardiff now.
    • 40' VAZ TE! Evades his marker latching onto Demel's pass down the right and absolutely lashes the second goal of the game into the far corner. What a hit!
    • 39' West Ham are seeing a lot more of the ball in the last few minutes and each pass is getting the old 'Ole' treatment from the fans.
    • 37' Cardiff play themselves out of some heavy pressure in their own final third, but the upshot is an offside flag for Miller.
    • 36' Cole clears the Lawrence delivery at the near post, but a free-kick is given for a push in the box.
    • 35' Nothing comes of West Ham's third corner, and Cardiff head up the other end to win their first of the contest.
    • 34' The hosts counter and Vaz Te pulls the ball back on the right for O'NEIL! Another belting effort is pushed away from goal at full stretch by Marshall!
    • 33' Long ball into a crowded West Ham box is headed down by Hudson but Miller can't reach it.
    • 32' Shots at goal so far: West Ham 4-1 Cardiff, one apiece on target.
    • 31' James Bryan (@JBWelland15) wants to see a fight from the Bluebirds: "Cardiff need to start showing the determination we all know they have!!! they need to believe in themselves more!"
    • 30' This one's another danger ball from Taylor, which flashes across the face of goal but no conversion this time.
    • 29' Demel is put through on the right and his low cross is put behind by Turner for another corner. The only other flag kick of the game so far led to the only goal.
    • 28' You're on, @LVL6MANKEY....! "@liamhappe if cardiff get back into this I will buy everyone a steak dinner. championship for cardiff again." Play is calming a little since the goal, very reminiscent of the first leg.
    • 27' Andy Grant (@grantillious) makes a good point about the away side's fighting spirit... " If Cardiff can show the hunger, fight and desire they showed against Liverpool, they could pull it off..." Follow me and have your say @liamhappe
    • 26' A neat one-touch passage ends with Whittingham playing Mason through on the right, but the flag rather belatedly goes up.
    • 25' Another long ball from Cardiff heads safely out of play.
    • 24' Vaz Te's speculative 20-yard drive is nowhere near the target.
    • 23' Saeed Moulai (@SM18CFC) says pretty much what a lot of people are thinking: "I don't think they'll get back in it, they lack the quality West Ham have." Let me know what you think @liamhappe
    • 22' McPhail and Whittingham combine well, but Green is alert to the final ball and makes the catch.
    • 20' Lovely ball from Demel finds Cole at the far post but he looks for the head-across over the headed shot, and McPhail goes full stretch to get it away.
    • 19' Does anybody think Cardiff can get back into this one now? Tweet me your thoughts - @liamhappe
    • 18' Nolan clears a Mason cut-back. A quick reply is all but mandatory for the visitors if they are to stand a chance.
    • 17' Here come the Hammers again and Collison floats a ball in from the right - O'Neil is at awkward stretch for the volley but loops it onto the crossbar nonetheless!
    • 16' Again a bright start from Cardiff is negated by an early West Ham goal, Allardyce's tactics and the players' attitudes have been spot on thus far, but it's not over yet.
    • 15' Excellent corner from Taylor comes off Cole and NOLAN HEADS HOME FROM TWO YARDS! Surely that's the goal which will confirm West Ham's trip to Wembley? Cardiff with a task and a half now!
    • 14' The hosts win the first corner of the match.
    • 13' McNaughton's free-kick heads out of play and Green takes the goal kick.
    • 11' Nolan is picked out with space on the right, but his cross is overcooked and Vaz Te is unable to salvage.
    • 10' Gunnersson launches a long throw into the box, but Hudson's blind header is caught by Green.
    • 9' Miller is unable to wriggle past Reid inside the Irons area. He goes down and wants a decision, but that's soft if anything. Strong defending.
    • 8' Any Cardiff fans out there? Didn't hear much from you during the first leg. Think your side can pull this off? Let me know on Twitter @liamhappe
    • 7' Offside against Gunnarsson as an early cross arrives from the left.
    • 6' Collison launches a cross from the right, which Marshall claims.
    • 5' Too much bounce on McPhail's central through pass and Miller is unable to latch onto it, despite breaching the offside trap well.
    • 4' Positive start from the hosts, who some thought may just try to defend their lead.
    • 3' Cole skies the first real effort of the match.
    • 2' Vaz Te looks to turn and shoot from six yards after chesting down a Taylor long throw, but the defence keep him neutralised.
    • 1' Cardiff get the second leg started.
    • 16:25 Five minutes until kick-off. Last call for predictions! Follow me on Twitter @liamhappe and send over your thoughts. Keep your messages coming once we're underway, too - we will be publishing them throughout the game.
    • 16:20 Mike Dean has control of this crucial second leg clash this afternoon.
    • 16:15 Cardiff manager Malky Mackay: "I'm sure there'll be a fantastic atmosphere, I know from my time there as a player they've got a fantastic set of fans. It'll be a tough atmosphere but I'll certainly be trying to give our fans something to cheer. All my focus is on us trying to get to the play-off final and that's not done yet. The scoreline obviously makes it more difficult at the moment but it's something that certainly can be rescued."
    • 16:10 West Ham boss Sam Allardyce: “We’re only halfway there. We have got to be focused on job, try to win and not sit back and protect the lead. We have to go out and deliver a performance like we did against Brighton and Hull at home - if we do we can deliver another win.”
    • 16:05 TEAMS - West Ham: Green, Demel, Tomkins, Reid, Taylor, O'Neil, Noble, Nolan, Collison, Cole, Vaz Te. Subs: Henderson, McCartney, Maynard, Faubert, Lansbury. /// Cardiff: Marshall, McNaughton, Hudson, Turner, Taylor, Lawrence, Gunnarsson, Whittingham, McPhail, Mason, Miller. Subs: Heaton, Kiss, Cowie, Earnshaw, Blake.
    • 16:00 Cardiff manager Malky Mackay will assess the fitness of Don Cowie and Kevin McNaughton. Midfielder Cowie picked up a slight knock during Thursday night's 2-0 defeat to the Hammers at the Cardiff City Stadium, while full-back McNaughton missed out due to a calf strain sustained in the 2-1 final-day win at Crystal Palace.
    • 15:55 West Ham once again have a fully-fit squad. Two-goal hero Jack Collison is set to keep his place despite still recovering from cartilage problems which mean the Wales midfielder sometimes sits out training. Striker Carlton Cole, who has also struggled with a knee problem at times this season, should continue up front alongside Ricardo Vaz Te.
    • 15:50 Jack Collison's pair of strikes separate the two sides heading into the second leg at the Boelyn. Can the Bluebirds stage a terrific comeback? Report: West Ham take control in Cardiff
