    • 90+4' Cassio flaps at a ball forward! Mata tries to keep it alive at a tight angle but hits the post with his ball in towards the danger zone and there's the whistle! Corinthians are the 2012 World Club Champions!
    • 90+3' Everyone is back for Corinthians as they try to see out the final minute of their lead.
    • 90+2' Torres has the ball in the net! But his header from Oscar's raking ball forward was well offside.
    • 90+1' In the first of four minutes added on, Emerson limps off after the to-do with Cahill and on comes Wallace (not Chelsea-bound Fluminense Wallace).
    • 90' RED CARD FOR CAHILL! Again it's Emerson at the root of the altercation and though it's unclear what happened, Chelsea are down to 10 men.
    • 89' Mata loops a ball into the box to Oscar but with the sub's back to goal, Andre rescues for his side by hacking it away for a throw. Azpilicueta gets great, Rory Delap-like range on the throw but its cleared.
    • 88' Azpilicueta's probing ball in from the right is bravely held by Cassio, who has had a great game between the sticks.
    • 87' Chelsea bring on Marko Marin for Hazard in their final switch while Corinthians make their first with Juan Manuel Martinez on for goalscorer Guerrero.
    • 86' Torres should level! An initial attempt is deflected away before landing favourably at his feet but he again fires straight at Cassio!
    • 85' Torres is denied by a brilliant challenge by Santos as he turns past the centre-backs.
    • 84' Chicao heads clear a forward loft ball by Mata as the Premier League side start to push forward.
    • 83' Strange time for a like-for-like, but Chelsea bring on Azpilicueta for Ivanovic at right-back.
    • 82' Alessandro sees a long ball in search of Oscar harmlessly out for a goal kick.
    • 80' @asamoah06 still has hope - "Chelsea will come back n win 2-1." Agree with him? Let me know via Twitter
    • 79' Lampard bundles Chicao over as frustration seeps in for Chelsea. Basic passing going awry far more than it should now they are behind.
    • 78' Emerson drifts offside for Henrique's cross from the right.
    • 77' Alessandro skips past Cole and then Cahill before Luiz cuts out the impressive run from right-back into the penalty area.
    • 75' @osinachi19 says "Chelsea will lose and finish 6th in the league" while @ladkings says "taxi for Benitez!" - follow me @liamhappe and join in the chat
    • 74' Mata crosses for a Torres free header, but again there's little conviction from the Spanish striker as the effort goes into the grass and bobbles harmlessly wide.
    • 73' We've had a lot of pro-Chelsea predictions via Twitter so far, but does anyone back them to salvage this now with just over 15 to go? Let me know - @liamhappe is the handle
    • 72' The Three Amigos line up together behind Torres, at least for the time being, as our first substitution sees Benitez replace Moses with Oscar.
    • 71' Luiz is booked for a late challenge on Emerson, where he had merely been beaten by superior pace. Bit harsh considering it's his first offence compared to the two-footed lunges and purposeful handballs we've had without a card.
    • 70' A great sequence of passes almost ended when Paulinho took a heavy touch inside the area until Danilo picked up the loose ball and skipped inside. His shot was blocked by Cahill but had Cech convinced, leaving Guerrero free to head home the rebound.
    • 69' GOAL! Corinthians lead! Guerrero heads home from close range with Cech committed by Danilo's initial effort! 1-0
    • 67' Moses cuts inside Santos but his cross-cum-shot is wide.
    • 66' Danilo catches Torres between thoughts on the right and muscles him off the ball.
    • 65' The Brazilian defenders dazzle the efforts of Moses to close down their attempts to play out of danger with faultless quick triangles of passes.
    • 64' PAULINHO! Wide of the near post! Guerrero again creates the magic as he holds up Alessandro's cross from the right before volleying the set-up to his team-mate.
    • 63' Now another Corinthians corner as Guerrero forces the block from Ivanovic.
    • 62' Good spell of pressure from the Libertadores winners but Chelsea get a succession of crosses clear.
    • 60' Despite the influential showing thus far, Guerrero has been in discomfort for most of the match.
    • 59' Another dazzling display of footwork by Guerrero precedes a run into the box and low cross attempt which Cahill blocks off for a corner.
    • 58' Early ball in from the left is headed across goal by Moses toward Torres, but the former Wigan man is penalised for climbing on Santos to meet the delivery.
    • 57' We have a yellow card! Henrique trips Mata from behind inside the centre circle and finally something is regarded as worthy of the formal caution.
    • 56' Almost a good counter from the Londoners but Torres runs prematurely and triggers the flag.
    • 55' Emerson skips past Lampard but Cahill blocks his 25-yard effort.
    • 54' HAZARD! Moves inside to latch onto Lampard's through ball into the area but Cassio again is excellent in the one-on-one! Goal kick too as the last touch came off the Belgian.
    • 53' Torres does well to bamboozle the offside trap on the left only to lose his footing and with it, possession.
    • 52' Benitez was sacked five days after winning this title with Inter. Any Chelsea fans hoping for a repeat scenario?
    • 51' Hearts in Chelsea mouths as Emerson goes down under duress from Ivanovic again as he tries to complete a 1-2 play in the box. Not a penalty though as the referee says the Brazilian committed the foul on the back of the defender.
    • 50' Sloppy Corinthians defending allows Cole to feed Mata inside him on the left. The forward's cross is headed away by Ralf.
    • 48' Emerson makes an absolute meal out of a foul by Ivanovic. But a foul nonetheless and Corinthians take the defensive free-kick.
    • 47' Half-time feedback: @kunle1_ says "Up the Blues" @baddon11 says "Chelsea 3-1 Corinthians" @yakubu44 says "backing Corinthians for a win" and @tayyabzahid97 says "David Luiz having a blast of a game so far" - keep them coming by following @liamhappe on Twitter
    • 46' And we are back underway for the second half.
    • 45+1' Half-time and we remain goalless. Who are you backing in the second 45? We'll publish more of your tweet comments soon, but in the meantime keep them coming to @liamhappe
    • 45' Just the one minute added on to the first half.
    • 44' A bit of fair turnaround as Emerson wins the ball from Hazard inside the Chelsea box as he looks to salvage the attack from the corner kick, but though he wins the ball the nature of his full-blooded challenge earns Chelsea a reprieve. At least it's consistent.
    • 43' Ivanovic heads a Corinthians set piece behind for a corner.
    • 42' Of course, deliberate handball is a mandatory yellow. Was Guerrero booked? Of course he wasn't. It'll be interesting to see what it will take to force the ref to get his cards out for either side.
    • 41' The set piece is headed into the path of Lampard, who volleys short to square for Mata.... Cassio saves the Spaniard's wicked drive.
    • 40' Guerrero is so convinced he has been fouled by Luiz that he catches the ball long before the referee decides whether or not to blow up. He does whistle in the end - to give Chelsea the free-kick for handball.
    • 39' Ivanovic puts his body in front of a Santos shot from 25 yards before Moses has a curling drive on the breakaway pushed around the far post by Cassio. Great stuff so far but no opening goal. Chelsea have a corner.
    • 38' Ramires and Cole work well together to cut out a Corinthians attack on the right at the expense of a throw.
    • 37' Torres! Great first touch but no direction on the finish after Lampard sends a delightful final ball over the top from halfway. Cassio smothers the shot and holds on.
    • 35' Now Chelsea with their own long throw into the box, but the half-cleared ball is dragged well wide by Cole.
    • 34' The Brazilians sustain some good pressure off a long throw and Guerrero jinks his way through two defenders before scraping a shot wide but not out of play until Emerson smacks the follow-up off the near post!
    • 32' Moses beats Fabio Santos to a diagonal loft into the danger zone but Paulo Andre cuts across to get a vital interception which comes off the Chelsea man last.
    • 31' This is Rafa Benitez's third final in this competition. He won it two years ago with Inter but lost the 2005 final with Liverpool.
    • 30' More Twitter predictions - @bossoye says "2-0 to Chelsea" while @ebblon suggests "Torres to score a double" - let me know what you think of the game and the big moments so far via Twitter @liamhappe
    • 29' Big chance for Corinthians! Guerrero comes deep to collect possession and his through pass is allowed through by the Chelsea back line, but Emerson balloons his shot over from inside the box. Waste of a chance.
    • 28' Ball in from the left is headed into Lampard's path by Torres, but the striker was offside.
    • 26' The referee treated that with the disdain it deserved. But it does seem to be mandated almost that there will be no yellow cards in this match.
    • 25' Guerrero turns superbly past Cahill to move into the box from the left wing, but when he runs out of options he bottles it and goes down under minimal pressure from the recovering defender.
    • 24' Luiz remains solid at the back, however, and cuts out Alessandro's attempt to move his overlapping run inside from the right flank.
    • 22' Luiz to try a piledriver free-kick against his boyhood club... but it's tame and low against the feet of the wall.
    • 21' Chicao trips Hazard just outside his own box at the other end, and Chelsea have a dangerous-looking set piece here.
    • 20' Now Paulinho tries his luck again, but the effort from outside the area is safely off-target.
    • 19' Corinthians charge straight forward on the counter and Jorge Henrique tries to catch Cech off his line from 20 yards. Cech is ready, though, and catches.
    • 18' Alessandro heads clear a decent Mata cross from the right.
    • 17' Mata pressured backwards until he eventually gives the ball away to Emerson, but David Luiz muscles him away from goal and then off the ball completely.
    • 16' Moses has got away with a couple of loose passes in recent moments.
    • 15' That tackle is polarising many. Chelsea fans pointing out the ball was won, but we all know the emphasis these days on the recklessness and danger levels of how a player goes in.
    • 14' Mata's lofted through pass in search of Torres is just too heavy for him to connect with a strike at goal.
    • 12' Ramires somehow evades a booking for a scissor lunge from behind on an opposing player. He won the ball, but we've seen how that style of challenge has gone down in the eyes of the Premier League in recent times.
    • 11' Almost had a call for the goal-line technology there! Cahill turns the flag kick towards goal and goalkeeper Cassio just about keeps it the right side of the line.
    • 10' First real chance for Chelsea as Chicao tackles Torres inside the Corinthians box before Moses has a shot from the loose ball blocked and the Spaniard sees his follow-up put behind for a corner.
    • 9' Fabio Santos tries to spark a surge forward for his side but runs into a sea of blue and is dispossessed.
    • 8' Guerrero holds up his hands as he bundles over Cahill, which of course is the number one sign that a player is guilty of a foul. Free-kick on the halfway line.
    • 7' Chelsea look to launch a counter beginning with Luiz, but Corinthians skipper Alessandro body checks the centre-back and halts play for the free-kick.
    • 6' Now Hazard tracks back to prevent Paulinho from having a shot from 15 yards.
    • 5' Paulinho, the latest Brazil star to be linked to Chelsea and the other European big hitters, bursts into the box but Ramires does well to snuff out the threat.
    • 4' Lampard goes heavy in on Ralf but gets away with a warning as Corinthians take the defensive free-kick long.
    • 3' To clarify, three subs per team as usual with competitive games, even though they have the choice of their entire reserves ranks to bring on.
    • 2' Massive Brazilian following here, compared to those for Chelsea.
    • 1' And here we go with the first half!

    • 10:15 Corinthians coach Tite: "Corinthians have a style of our own, and it is very clear. We have been building this style and our philosophy is to respect the opposition but continue attacking. We didn't get here by accident. The mental element is very important, and if we are well prepared then it could make the difference in the final."
    • 10:10 Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez: “We had meetings today – one with the midfielders and defenders and the other with the offensive players.I wanted to change a few things, analyse our game, the positives and the negatives. Then we will analyse Corinthians, the weaknesses we feel we can exploit. I can understand some people from a distance saying this competition is not important but this is an important final. Just to be here you have to win the Champions League. It’s the same for Corinthians."
