    • FC Barcelona
    • Real Sociedad
    • 93' FULL TIME: Barcelona 2-0 Real Sociedad
    • 92' Iniesta is dropping deep and linking up the play in the final third, which is what Barcelona were missing earlier in the game. There are suggestions that Martino doesn't him as part of his strongest team.
    • 91' Barca work a short corner but when the ball comes back to Alba on the left side he skews his cross. But it almost catches out Zubikarai, who is left standing as the ball drifts just over his crossbar.
    • 90' Three minutes of stoppage time to be played.
    • 89' YELLOW CARD: Joseba Zaldua (Real Sociedad)
    • 88' Barcelona continue to flood forward in search of this third goal. Alves, Messi and Iniesta have all had shots on goal but nothing that has come especially close. They're lacking composure when they get into the final third. Very un-like Barca.
    • 86' YELLOW CARD: Enaut Zubikarai (Real Sociedad)
    • 85' Barcelona sub: Cesc Fabregas OFF, Cristiano Tello ON.
    • 84' Great save! Messi aims a spectacular volley at goal after being played through by Iniesta but Zubikarai makes an equally good save to deny the Barca number 10. That's the only glimpse of brilliance we've seen from him all night.
    • 83' Barca come forward to the edge of the box once again but this time when the ball is played back to Iniesta the midfielder lashes his effort well over the crossbar. He should have done better from there.
    • 82' Real Sociedad sub: Antoine Griezman OFF, Haris Seferovic ON.
    • 81' Barcelona are looking for a third goal, and so they should be. This is the opportunity for them to see this tie off before the second leg.
    • 80' And still Messi is providing Barcelona with much in the way of attacking threat. He's not making the runs from deep he so often does when he's in top form. I doubt he's fully fit to be honest.
    • 79'
    • 78' Header over the bar! Fabegas hooks a cross into the box from the byline, but the ball is just too high for Alves, who heads it over the bar. He couldn't get over the cross.
    • 77' Canales is being booed by the Camp Nou crowd every time he touches the ball. He signed from Valencia in the January transfer window but he's a former Real Madrid player so that explains the hostile reception.
    • 76' Barcelona keep coming forward and are looking for the third goal that would kill off this tie for good. You would think a 2-0 lead would be good enough for them to take into the second leg anyway.
    • 75' Finally Iniesta is brought on by Martino. He has 15 minutes to show why he should have started the match. His creativity has been missed in and around the edge of the penalty area.
    • 74' Barcelona sub: Alexis Sanchez OFF, Andres Iniesta ON.
    • 73' YELLOW CARD: Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
    • 72' Real Sociedad sub: Carlos Vela OFF, Sergio Canales ON.
    • 71' Barcelona have loud claims for a penalty kick turned down by the referee. Alba slammed a cross into the arm of Martinez but there wasn't much the Sociedad defender could have done. His arm was by his side.
    • 70' Looks like both teams are getting ready to make changes. Are we finally about to see Iniesta?
    • 69' Good effort by Pedro! Sanchez chips the ball over the top of the Sociedad defence, and with the ball dropping over his shoulder Pedro takes it first time on the volley, but his shot flashes over the bar. Difficult skill.
    • 68' Sociedad are beginning to look a bit weary. Vela and Griezmann aren't making those surging runs forward that they were making earlier in the game.
    • 67' Looking at replays of the own goal, I just can't comprehend what Elustondo was thinking with his clearance. You'll need to see this later. He's just smashed it across the face of his own goal. The keeper could do nothing about it!
    • 66'
    • 65' Xavi shoots from 20 yards but Zubikarai does well not just to make the save but also punch it clear of the bodies inside the six yard box.
    • 64' Do Real Sociedad have anything left in the tank? They've shot themselves in the foot twice tonight, with the own goal and the sending off, but can they get a crucial away goal to take into the second leg?
    • 62' YELLOW CARD: Ion Gaztanaga (Real Sociedad)
    • 61' What was he thinking? That is one of the worst own goals I've ever seen. He had time to make a pass or even dribble it out of the box but he decided to smash it across the goal and into his own keeper.
    • 60' GOAL! Barcelona 2 (60 mins - Enaut Zubikarai) Real Sociedad 0. Where do I begin with this? Fabregas slots through Sanchez, who hits the post. But when the ball comes out to Elustondo he smashes the ball off his own keeper and into the net!
    • 59' Still no Iniesta for Barcelona. Surely Martino won't wait much longer to get the midfielder on the pitch. They need his creative edge in the final third.
    • 58' YELLOW CARD: Gorka Elustondo (Real Sociedad)
    • 57' Barcelona are playing a lot of crosses into the box but I'd suggest this is more to do with their desperation in the final third, as their front three are Pedro, Sanchez and Messi. Hardly great headers of the ball.
    • 56' And yet Messi is still cutting a somewhat subdued figure. What can he do to up his own game? Is he not getting into the correct positions? Is he still recovering from injury?
    • 55' Finally a Barcelona player takes a shot from outside the box but Zubikarai gets down well to save the effort and tip it round the post. That's better from Barca. They need to shoot more often.
    • 54'
    • 53' Pedro tries to slot through Fabregas, who attempts to get to the byline ahead of his marker, but Carlos Martinez does well to get in front of the former Arsenal man and shield the ball out of play.
    • 52' Credit to Sociedad, they're pressing hard when Barcelona have the ball in their own half. Thn when they get past the halfway line they drop back into their defensive shape and organise themselves very well.
    • 51' Barcelona are still missing that spark in and around the box. May I suggest a change, Mr Martino? See that Iniesta guy on your bench? Yeah, him.
    • 50' Martino will be eager for his team to find a second and third goal here. They'll want to go into the second leg with a commanding lead, maybe so they can rest a few players with the title race so intense this season.
    • 49'
    • 48' Of course, Sociedad are up against it now. They're a goal down and a man down. The last team to overcome those handicaps at the Camp Nou was probably Chelsea. Probably.
    • 47' Messi had a very quiet first half, certainly by his standards. How does he get involved with the game? Does he need to come deeper to collect the ball or does he need to do the opposite and stay in advanced positons?
    • 46'
    • 45' We're back under way at the Camp Nou!
    • - What did you make of the first half? Do Barcelona deserve to be winning? Should Sociedad have had a penalty just before the break? Tweet me (@grahamruthven)!
    • - Perhaps Martinez was irked by the decision not to award a penalty for a perceived foul on Vela by Mascherano as the Sociedad striker surged through on goal. Looking at replays of the chance he may have had a case. Mascherano did seem to pull back Vela just as he was about to take his shot.
    • 46' HALF TIME: Barcelona 1-0 Real Sociedad
    • 45' Sociedad have been reduced to ten men! I must confess I didn't see the incident and both the Barca and Sociedad players seem shocked by the decision. Was it something he said to the referee?
    • 44' RED CARD! Inigo Martinez (Real Sociedad)
    • 43' GOAL! Barcelona 1 (43 mins - Sergio Busquets) Real Sociedad 0. Crucial goal for the Catalans! The midfielder finishes into the empty net following a spot of pinball inside the penalty area.
    • 42' Huge save by Pinto! Sociedad come out on the counter attack, with Vela leaving Mascherano for dead, but when he gets into a one-on-one situation he sees his sidefooted shot saved by the outstretched leg of Pinto.
    • 41' Can Barcelona find an opener before the break? They're pressing hard now, with Sociedad essentially camped inside their own half.
    • 40' Sociedad are struggling to break out on the counter attack like they were earlier in the game. Vela and Griezmann are seeing less and less of the ball as Barcelona begin to take full control of the contest.
    • 39' YELLOW CARD: Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad)
    • 38' Messi hits the bar! The Barcelona number 10 curls a magnificent freekick towards goal but it hits the crossbar and bounces away. That deserved a goal. What a fantastic effort on goal. The bar is still shaking.
    • 37' Gaztanaga takes down Messi on the edge of the box and the freekick is given. But the referee is now being surrounded by Barca players after his decision to book Mascherano a few minutes earlier.
    • 35' YELLOW CARD: Javier Mascherano (Barcelona)
    • 34' Good save by Zukikerai! Fabregas tries to chip a ball into the box for Xavi but it evades everyone in the area, bouncing just in front of goal. But the Sociedad keeper dives to his left to palm the ball away.
    • 33' This is becoming a bit of a puzzle for Barcelona. They can't thread those passes through the Sociedad defence and that's how the Catalans tend to score more of their goals. They're now starting to cross into the box more often.
    • 32' So close to an own goal! Alves flashes a cross into the box at speed but there are about three Sociedad defenders on hand to clear. But Angel gets a bit desperate and somehow manages to slice over his own bar.
    • 31' The Camp Nou crowd are starting to get a bit restless. They presumably want to see their team in more threatening positions in the final third.
    • 30' Actually, no. They've not upped the tempo of their game and are now knocking it around the midfield again with not a care in the world. I'd like to see some more one-twos and give-and-gos please.
    • 29' Barcelona are trying to up the tempo of their game now. That's probably the right move. They've looked somewhat predictable when they're passing the ball about the midfield unoppossed.
    • 28' Not often you get to say Messi should have scored, but he certainly should have there. All he had to do was finish into the empty net at the near post but he somehow managed to hit the keeper.
    • 27' Messi misses a sitter! Yup, you've read that right. Messi meets Fabregas' cross on the volley forcing Zubikarai into a good save low down but it looks like all he has to do is tap in the rebound. But he scuffs it into the keeper. Terrible effort!
    • 26' YELLOW CARD: Sergio Busquets (Barcelona)
    • 25' Having said that Sociedad are doing a very good job of packing their defence and plugging the gaps. They're containing Barcelona quite well.
    • 24' Here's a statistic for you. Real Sociedad have lost all of their last 16 games against Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Slightly ominious.
    • 23' Busquets goes right through the back of Vela. That was a nasty challenge. Sociedad win the freekick but should that not be a yellow card for the Barcelona midfielder?
    • 22' Safe to say this game isn't being played at the same temperature as the last semi-final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. This match is a lot more considered, with Barca knocking the ball about with ease.
    • 21'
    • 20' Vela surges through the middle of the Barcelona midfield, beating three players in the process, but when he gets to the edge of the box he gets caught in two minds and the home side take control of the ball again.
    • 19' Real Sociedad sub: Mikel Gonzalez OFF, Carlos Martinez ON.
    • 18' Mikel is down on the turf for about the third time in this match and it looks like Arrasate is going to be forced into an early change. Will it be Carlos Martinez?
    • 17' The tiki-taka has started but as I say, Sociedad look rather comfortable just letting them play on the edge of the box. That can change in an instant though.
    • 16' Barcelona are trying to pick a way through the packed Sociedad and when the ball comes out to Alves he loses patience and swings at the ball. But his shot goes wide of the near post when he had better options.
    • 15' Xavi swings in a corner kick from the left side but Pique mistimes his jump just a bit and the header drifts wide of the target. In fact, it's almost out for a throw in. Oops.
    • 14' Of course, Barcelona are dominating possession but when they get forward they are an accomplished side. Vela and Griezmann are linking up well and Angel has pace to burn in the left back position.
    • 12' Sanchez should score! A shot from long range tests Zubikarai, but he palms the ball straight out to the Chilean forward six yards out. But somehow he manages to put his shot into the side netting. Oh dear.
    • 11' Fabregas should score! Alves passes the ball across the face of the goal, with a deflection taking it into the path of the former Arsenal man, but he can't beat the keeper and has to settle for a corner.
    • 10' Barcelona are finding it difficult to break down the wall of Sociedad players when they have the ball. It's essentially a back eight when the away team are defending and then Vela and Griezmann break forward when they attack.
    • 9'
    • 8' I tell you what, Griezmann is causing the Barcelona backline all kinds of problems at the moment. His pace is giving Pique a run for his money (literally) and Sociedad have been able to give him the ball early.
    • 7' Pedro shoots at goal from just inside the left side of the penalty area, but Zubikarai has it under control and lets it fly over his own crossbar.
    • 6' Strangely Barcelona haven't been as good since Messi returned from injury. I know. How can that be possible? But it has an Martino's side has looked a little disjointed in the last few weeks.
    • 5' Sociedad are playing five at the back and are looking to break at the earliest opportunity. What's more is that they actually look dangerous when they do so. This might not be so straightforward for Barca.
    • 4' Fabregas starts with Iniesta on the bench. Is this Barcelona's strongest outfield team? It means Iniesta will only have completed 90 minutes 11 times so far this season. Interesting, indeed.
    • 3' Great chance for Sociedad! The away team come forward on the break through Vela, who squares the ball for Griezmann. He takes the shot first time and Pinto has to punch the ball clear. Good effort.
    • 2' So with Real Madrid winning 3-0 over Atletico Madrid in the other semi-final the prize of a Clasico Copa Del Rey final should focus the minds of the Barcelona players tonight. They're heavy favourites.
    • 1' And we're under way here at the Camp Nou!
    • 20:55 TEAM NEWS: Barcelona - Pinto, Alves, Mascherano, Pique, Alba, Busquets, Xavi, Fabregas, Sanchez, Messi, Pedro. /// Real Sociedad - Zubikarai, Zaldua, Ansotegi, Mikel, Inigo, Angel, Zurutuza, Elustondo, Gaztanaga, Griezmann, Vela.
