    • - What did you make of the game? Were you disappointed by Osasuna's lack of adventure? Should Real Madrid have scored more? Tweet me (@grahamruthven).
    • - It was hardly a classic but Real Madrid ease into the last eight of the Copa Del Rey where they will face Espanyol. It wasn't pretty at times but Ancelotti will be pleased that his side recorded its sixth straight win in a stadium they haven't always found easy to play in.
    • 93' FULL TIME: Osasuna 0-2 Real Madrid (0-4 on aggregate)
    • 91' So can Osasuna make the most of their two man advantage in the final few minutes of this game? For the first time they're enjoying sustained possession in the Real Madrid half. Can they find the net?
    • 90' Three minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the second half.
    • 89' So will Ancelotti still play a diamond up front? Just kidding by the way. For the last few minutes of this game Di Maria has slotted into left back, following the sending off of Coentrao.
    • 88' Morata is being brought off, finally. He went down again and is clearly in quite a bit of pain. It means that for the moment Real Madrid are down to nine players!
    • 87' Well that was a stupid thing to do. Coentrao is sent off for a second bookable offence on his first start for Real Madrid since November. With rumours about his future could that be his last game in a white shirt?
    • 86' YELLOW CARD: Roberto Torres (Osasuna)
    • 85' SENT OFF! Fabio Coentrao (Real Madrid)
    • 84' Now Di Maria breaks down the left side, driving into the box, but he chooses the wrong option and tries to square to Isco when he should have taken on the shot himself.
    • 83' Di Maria tries to thread through a very precise ball through the Osasuna backline but the pass is a little bit too strong and the Real Madrid midfielder can't reach it.
    • 82' So Osasuna now have their top scorer, Riera on the pitch. Will that make a difference? He needs to score five goals to send his team into the next round of the cup.
    • 81' Great chance for Casemiro, who is unmarked from a corner kick but the leap of Pepe in front of him appeared to put him off and he powered his header down into the ground and wide of the target.
    • 80' Osasuna sub: Miguel De Las Cuevas OFF, Oriol Riera ON.
    • 79' And now Torres shoots from the edge of the box but there are too many bodies in the way and the effort is charged down by Casemiro.
    • 78' A cross from the right back position comes into the box, but the falls to the edge of the box where Jose Garcia lurking. He takes a touch on to his left foot but with the target in his sights he shoots over.
    • 77' Acuna tries his luck from long range but his tame strike is easily saved by Casillas. The Osasuna striker has had absolutely nothing to work with all game.
    • 75' Osasuna are offering pretty much nothing now. Real Madrid are passing the ball around the midfield, occassionally playing the ball out to Bale on the wing, who looks keen to make something happen.
    • 74' Morata appears to be playing on and is back on the ball, making a pass out to the right wing and surging forward on the counter. He looks okay.
    • 73' Looking at replays it looks like Morata collided with Punal from a corner. He doesn't look too happy, Morata. He's talking to the bench and actually looks a little bit dazed.
    • 72' He's back on his feet but he's taken a bad blow to the face somewhere along the way. He's got a big bruise underneath his eye. He's only been on the pitch for a matter of minutes!
    • 71' Morata is down and that's the second time he's gone down since coming down. He's in a bit of pain. This doesn't look too good for him.
    • 70' Real Madrid sub: Jese Rodriguez OFF, Alvaro Morata ON.
    • 69' Looks like Alvaro Morata is getting ready to come on for the away team. This will give Real Madrid a clear focus of attack.
    • 67' Oier gets a good cross into the box, with Casillas staying on his line, but Illarramendi gets up well to clear the danger with a header. This is what Acuna is having to feed off.
    • 66' Real Madrid are knocking the ball about with ease in midfield, toying with their opposition. You can't really see Osasuna staging any kind of fightback here. They're just winding down the clock.
    • 65' Osasuna sub: Joan Oriol OFF, Eneko Satrustegui ON.
    • 64' Real Madrid sub: Xabi Alonso OFF, Casemiro ON.
    • 63' The introduction of Garcia for the home side is also an interesting one. He's only 17 years old and is highly rated in these parts. There's some footage of him as a kid at this stadium, waving an Osasuna scarf above his head.
    • 62' The world's most expensive player replaces the world player of the year. Not bad....
    • 61' Real Madrid sub: Cristiano Ronaldo OFF, Gareth Bale ON.
    • 60' Osasuna sub: Alvaro Cejudo OFF, Jose Garcia ON.
    • 59' De Las Cuevas lines up a shot from the best part of 25 yards but his effort sails so very high over the bar. Their shooting is getting worse!
    • 58' Well this is all a little limp by Osasuna. They played such a good home game against Real Madrid in the league but this has been so disappointing. They've offered very little, perhaps with the exception of Cejudo.
    • 57' Although you could argue that Di Maria should really have hit that with his right foot. But he scored with his left, so who cares?
    • 56' That was a really good goal by Real Madrid. Jese did well to get to the byline and pick out a pass and Di Maria's finish was excellent.
    • 55' GOAL! Osasuna 0 Real Madrid 2 (55 mins - Angel Di Maria). Jese drives to the byline and squares for Di Maria who is running on to the pass from a deep position, calmly slotting into the net.
    • 54' It's been better than the first half but the tempo is still very sluggish in this game, even after the break.
    • 53' An Osasuna corner kick delivery into the box causes an issue for the Real Madrid backline, with Acuna right on top of the keeper but Casillas still manages to get enough on the cross to clear.
    • 52' Ancelotti is on the touchline looking quite content with the way things are going. Is he thinking about making any changes in the next 15 minutes or so?
    • 50' Ronaldo is released down the line by Coentrao, with the Real Madrid number seven in so much space! He draws a defender across, leaving Isco free in the centre but the cross into the middle is glanced by the head of Loties.
    • 49' Osasuna come forward through Oier, who squares the ball to Loe midway inside the Real Madrid half. But after lining up his shot he strikes well over the bar. His technique was all wrong!
    • 48' Di Maria is still playing in that deeper position he was deployed in during the first half. It's a bit unusual to see him there but he's done okay there.
    • 47' Real Madrid have started the second half on the front foot, with Isco looking lively but they're still struggling to find that cutting pass through the cutting edge.
    • 46' Coentrao is through on goal and smashes his shot into Andres but the flag is raised to spare the Real Madrid fullback's blushes.
    • 45' The second half has started between Osasuna and Real Madrid!
    • - What did you make of the first half? Tweet me (@grahamruthven)!
    • - Well that was hardly the best half of football the world has ever seen but Real Madrid found the goal to effectively kill of this tie. Osasuna showed a little bit of attacking intent towards the end of the half and I'd like to see more of that after the break.
    • 45' HALF TIME: Osasuna 0-1 Real Madrid
    • 45' Another shot for Osasuna, which this time comes on the back of a long passing move, with Torres toe-poking towards goal but Casillas gets down well to save the tame effort.
    • 44' YELLOW CARD: Fabio Coentrao (Real Madrid)
    • 44' All of a sudden Osasuna have sprung into life! And typically half time is only a few minutes away.
    • 43' Now it's De Las Cuevas' turn to have a strike at the Real Madrid goal from the edge of the box but this time Casillas gets down low to make the save and push the ball behind for a corner.
    • 42' That was so much better by the home side! Cejudo needs to do more of that. He is Osasuna's best attacking player, certainly from what I've seen of the two legs of this tie.
    • 41' Osasuna hit the post! Nice interchange play between Oier and Cejudo results in the latter creating a yard of space on the edge of the box with a nice turn. But his left footed shot strikes the woodwork with Casillas beaten!
    • 40' Ronaldo runs at the opposition defence and plays a 'no-look' pass to Di Maria who is providing support. But in trying to take the shot with his left foot he blasts the ball well over the bar.
    • 39' Osasuna have shown very little attacking intent in this first half. Real Madrid look dangerous on the attack but even they're struggling to control the game.
    • 37' Besides the goal there really have been very few chances for either side in this game. Hope it improves in the second half (or before half time would be even better).
    • 36' Not too far away by Alonso! The ball breaks to the Real Madrid midfielder on the edge of the box after a move between Ronaldo and Isco breaks down but his effort flashes just over the bar.
    • 35' Ronaldo tries an audacious effort on the half volley from the best part of 35 yards, perhaps trying to catch out a keeper he's already caught out, but this Andres is alert and makes a simple save at his near post.
    • 34' YELLOW CARD: Alvaro Arbeloa (Real Madrid)
    • 33' Osasuna win a freekick on the edge of the box following a foul by Alonso, but Cejudo's freekick lands on top of the net with Casillas confident of it's destination over the bar.
    • 32' Ronaldo tries to thread a pass through to Di Maria, who is sprinting through on goal but Oriol comes across from his position at left back to make a crucial tackle.
    • 31' So do Osasuna have anything left in the tank? Do they have anything to throw at Real Madrid to reignite this tie?
    • 29' Good save by Andres! Ronaldo picks up the ball on the left side of the pitch, driving into the box and pushing the Osauna defence back and back, but when he unleashes the low shot the keeper saves with his feet.
    • 28' Jese is looking increasingly lively on the right side of Real Madrid's front three. Oriol is struggling to deal with the youngster.
    • 27' Arbeloa tries to find Ronaldo with a cross into the box with the outside of his right foot but Flano is on hand to get a glancing header before the Real Madrid player can make contact.
    • 26' Acuna gets the chance to run at the Real Madrid backline for the first time but a combination of Pepe and Arbeloa dispossess the Osasuna striker on the edge of the box.
    • 25' Real Madrid are just starting to take control of the game since that goal. They're showing more composure in midfield and are keeping the ball better. This is game over, you'd have to think.
    • 24' So now Osasuna need four goals to overturn the aggregate scoreline, with that goal meaning there will be no extra time tonight.
    • 23' That's Ronaldo's 30th goal of the season but you have to point the finger of blame at Andres. He tried to punch the powerful strike but in the end punched it into the ground, with the ball bouncing up between his legs, hitting him on the backside and crossing the line. Oh dear.
    • 22' GOAL! Osasuna 0-1 Real Madrid (22 mins - Cristiano Ronaldo). The Ballon d'Or winner opens the scoring for the visitors, powering a freekick from 20 yards at goal, but the keeper makes a mess of it and the ball bounces between his legs and across the line.
    • 21' YELLOW CARD: Raoul Loe (Osasuna)
    • 20' Ronaldo wins a corner kick and for a moment there's the prospect of something actually happening, but no. Isco's delivery from the left is too close to the keeper and Andres punches clear.
    • 19' Of course there's no real worry for Real Madrid. They're 2-0 up from the first leg and Osasuna have been just as poor as them in this game so far.
    • 18' And apart from anything else both teams' passing has been atrocious. Barcelona must be laughing their heads off at this.
    • 17' Ronaldo is drifting all over the place in search of the ball. He's seen very little of it so far and is feeding off scraps. Real Madrid are looking very sluggish. The tempo to this game has been very slow.
    • 16' Finally the visitors break forward and make their way into the box, but Jese's first touch is a little slack and Flano can come across and make the challenge.
    • 15' Real Madrid are just starting to close down a little faster. Is that their warm-up done now?
    • 14' Alonso picks up the ball in the centre circle and tries to find Ronaldo about 25 yards out from goal, but the pass is misplaced and Osasuna take control of the ball. That sums up this game so far.
    • 13' Neither side has really imposed on this game so far but Osasuna are at least keeping the ball well, even if they're making no progress when it comes to threading anything through the final third.
    • 12' Well that's an interesting one. Riera has been booked by referee Mateu Lahoz, and he's not even playing! He's on the bench! He must have said something to the referee. Very strange.
    • 11' YELLOW CARD: Oier Sanjurjo (Osasuna)
    • 10' YELLOW CARD: Oriol Riera (Osasuna)
    • 9' Very little of any note has actually happening in this game at the moment. Osasuna are not looking especially adventurous, despite them tasked with overturning a two goal deficit.
    • 8' Looks like Isco is actually playing in the false nine position, with Ronaldo on the left and Jese on the right. Illarramendi, Di Mari and Alonso form the midfield three in what appears to be a 4-3-3 system.
    • 7' The stadium is far from full for this one, apparently in protest over high ticket prices. A ticket for this game would have set you back between 80 and 100 Euros. Woooft!
    • 6' Ronaldo drives at the opposition defence for the first time in the match but after being brought down he misplaces his pass out to Isco. The referee waves away the Ballon d'Or winner's claims.
    • 5' An early goal for the home side would really set this game alight but at the moment both teams are just feeling their way into the match.
    • 4' One interesting bit of team news is that Fabio Coentrao starts for Real Madrid for the first time since the start of November. The full back wants to leave the club, with Manchester United linked, but Carlo Ancelotti insists he won't be departing in January.
    • 3' Okay, so Real Madrid lead 2-0 from the first leg, meaning Osasuna need to win 2-0 to take the tie to extra-time and 3-0 to progress. Away goals are in play so just keep that in mind.
    • 2' Real Madrid come into this game on the back of a 15 game unbeaten run, since they lost to Barcelona in the Clasico. Can that streak be broken in Pamplona tonight?
    • 1' We're under way between Osasuna and Real Madrid!
    • 20:25 Osasuna fans are protesting ahead of kick-off tonight about the high price of tickets to the Real Madrid game. Apparently tickets were priced between 80 and 100 Euros, which is extortionate! It's not just the Premier League that's up to tricks.
    • 20:20 Pre-match odds: Osasuna 17/2, Draw 17/4, Real Madrid 1/4.
    • 20:15 So the big news for Real Madrid is that Gareth Bale has to settle for a place on the bench, with Isco returning to the starting line-up having missed out against Celta Vigo.
    • 20:10 TEAM NEWS: Osasuna - Andres, Oier, Flano, Loties, Joan Oriol, Cejudo, Punal, Loe, De las Cuevas, Roberto Torres, Acuna. /// Real Madrid - Casillas, Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Alonso, Illarramendi, Isco, Di Maria, Ronaldo, Jese.
