    • 90+3' FULL TIME. Armenia 4-1 Macedonia. The result puts them level on points with leaders Russia and two ahead of Ireland. Russia play Slovakia later while Ireland are expected to defeat Andorra. Tuesday could be the crucial day as Armenia visit Ireland, but with this win hey move closer to a first ever finals appearance.
    • 90+1' GOAL! Armenia 4-1 Macedonia! Sarkisov, exploiting a poor pass at the back from Macedonia, puts the keeper on his bum with a neat little dummy and casually rolls the ball home.
    • 86' GOAL! Armenia 3-1 Macedonia! Nothing more than a consolation as Vance Sikov heads home from Vlade Lazarevski's corner.
    • 86' The excellent Movsisyan knocks the ball past the keeper but his touch is too heavy and the ball rolls away from him. If anyone deserves to score the fourth, it is surely him as he has been excellent.
    • 79' Artur Sarkisov rattles the bar for Armenia as they go in search of a fourth. What a qualifying campaign this has been from the former Soviet state. Few expected it in all honesty.
    • 77' Noel Rock has this to say about the Armenia game, before he watches Ireland play Andorra: "Watching it here in Barcelona for our ill-fated away trip. I´m a nervous man...." Get in contact via Twitter.
    • 69' GOAL! 3-0 Armenia! Gevorg Ghazaryan arrives at the back post to turn the ball home with an accomplished finish.
    • 58' The Armenian fans are indulging in some Mexican waves, and goalscorer Mkhitaryan almost gives them something else to celebrate as he controls deftly with his head and then forces Bogatinov into a smart stop.
    • 53' Macedonia captain Sumulikoksi is dismissed! His challenge on Pizzelli was horribly late and he had already been booked, but it appeared as though the referee showed a straight red.
    • 51' Armenia race forward again but the keeper tips an awkward cross away. Armenia, by the way, have scored 19 goals in nine qualifiers. Only Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Hungary and Sweden have more.
    • 48' Filip Ivanovski wastes a great chance for Macedonia as he gets in behind the defence and lifts his shot over the bar from close range. It has been an open start to the second half.
    • 47' Mkhitaryan wastes a great chance to claim a second of the evening as he turns the ball home from near the penalty spot. He had the whole goal in front of him and that should have been 3-0.
    • 46' KICK OFF! The second half is underway in Yerevan.
    • - So Toshack's Macedonia find themselves 2-0 down but in all honesty this match is pretty meaningless for them. The same cannot be said of Armenia of course, who have edged a bit closer to the first major finals in their 20-year histor as an independent nation. There is still a long way to go though.
    • 45' Armenia have an important two-goal lead which means that as things stand they are joint top of the group with Russia, and two points ahead of Ireland.
    • 43' A wonderful effort from Sumulikoski, formerly of Ipswich, as he calls the keeper into a spectacular save with a gorgeous shot from all of 35 yards. Macedonia nearly pull one back.
    • 42' John Toshack's Macedonia have conceded twice and they are losing their discipline somewhat. Sumulikoski joins Ivanovski and Popov in the book.
    • 39' If this game stays as it is and Ireland beat Andorra - both of which are hugely likely - then a defeat for Russia in Slovakia will leave four teams separated by one point heading into the final matchday, with Ireland topping the table.
    • 34' GOAL! 2-0 Armenia! A brilliant strike from range from Henrik Mkhitaryan! He receives a throw back to his feet, drifts in from the right and fires a wonderful effort into the top corner from 25 yards. Armenia in firm control.
    • 33' Bedo has this to say on Twitter: "COME ON ARMENIA - Ireland has been to the Euros, now it's Armenia's turn..." Get in contact on Twitter
    • 30' That is bad news for Ireland. As things stand Armenia are joint top with Russia, though it is Dick Advocaat's side that have the superior head-to-head record. Ireland will be two points behind, though they are expected to beat Andorra later. Remember, Tuesday sees Armenia visit Dublin for the final group game.
    • 28' GOAL! 1-0 Armenia! Marcos Pizzelli with the finish from close range. Movsisyan did excellently when driving into the box and he cut the ball back into the path of Pizzelli for his fourth of the campaign.
    • 20' Tom Keogh gets in contact on Twitter to say he is watching this game hoping for a favourable result for Giovanni Trapattoni's men: "Hoping for the draw from Ireland"
    • 17' Mirko Ivanovski looks to have found space in the box for Macedonia as he turns an effort wide of the post, but we was about a metre offside.
    • 14' If you want to send across any comments on tonight's events then be sure to drop me a line on Twitter and I will try and include some. Tom Adams on Twitter
    • 12' Now Macedonia respond and Filip Ivanovski just fails to get on the end of a dangerous cross from Daniel Georgievski and he slides in. He just needed to get something on the ball.
    • 10' Great chance for Armenia! Yura Movsisyan finds space in the box and rifles a shot against the outside of the post! That would have been bad news for Ireland.
    • 9' If Armenia are defeated here and Slovakia, who also have 14 points, lose at Russia, then Ireland will secure a play-off spot if they defeat the notoriously awful Andorra later tonight.
    • 7' Macedonia have seven points from eight games so they are firmly out of the equation. They are playing for pride, and potentially for a more favourable seeding next time the rankings are established.
    • 4' It has been a positive start from Macedonia and the home supporters in Yerevan are trying their best to make it an intimidating atmosphere. Remember, Armenia haven't qualified for a major tournament before, but if they win tonight and then against Ireland on Tuesday they will have a play-off place at the least.

    • We kick off with the match between Armenia and Macedonia in Yerevan. Though these teams are far from two of Europe's traditional powerhouses, this game is important in Group B, where Armenia start the day one point behind Ireland and three behind group leaders Russia. A win at home will put them in a strong position for a play-off place ahead of their final group game which comes at Ireland on Tuesday. Ireland take on Andorra at 8.30pm tonight.
