    • 90' It is all over in Helsinki and the home side have secured a convincing win. They stay fourth in Group E but move three points ahead of their vanquished opponents Moldova in fifth.
    • 85' GOAL FOR MOLDOVA!!! The gloss is taken off Finland's night a little as Serghei Alexeev scores an equaliser for Moldova, it is far too late to influence the result though.
    • 71' GOAL FOR FINLAND!!! Nightmare for Igor Armas who puts through his own goal and makes it four for Finland
    • 53' GOAL FOR FINLAND!!! It is three now for the Finns and they look very comfortable indeed. Doros brought down Sjolund rather clumsily in the box and Forssell stepped up to confidently slot the penalty home.
    • 45' Half-time in Helsinki now and Finland look comfortable leading 2-0
    • 43' GOAL FOR FINLAND!!! Kasper Hamalainen doubles his and his team's tally and the Finns take a deserved two goal lead. Contrasting goal to his first as he showed great composure in the area after getting on the end of a Moisander through ball and slotting it past the keeper
    • 29' Forssell comes close again and is looking bright up front, he fires a left footed effort just wide of the post. He is a free agent at the moment, but a few managers might sit up and take note if he can convert one of these chances.
    • 26' Finland looking comfortably in control and knocking the ball around confidently, maybe only a matter of time until they double their lead
    • 16' Forssell comes inches away from grabbing his 26th international goal, and his seventh of this qualification campaign as he strikes the post with a rasping drive from the edge of the box.
    • 13' Moldova very nearly hit straight back. A free-kick from inside the D on the edge of the box looked destined for the top corner from Denis Zmeu but it flew just narrowly past the post.
    • 11' GOAL FOR FINLAND!!! The home side break the deadlock and it is through Kasper Hamalainen. An Emerenko corner was flicked on at the nearpost by Forssell and there was the big Djurgaden man at the back post to nod it home. 1-0.
    • 8' Former Chelsea and Birmingham man Mikael Forssell is currently the second highest goalscorer in Finnish history with 25. The record holder is the legend of the Finnish game Jari Litmanen who has netted 32 times for his country, Forssell will be looking to get one step closer to him in this match.
    • 3' Almost a year ago, on 3 September 2010, Moldova won the first match of this qualification, home against Finland (2-0).
    • 1' We are underway in Helsinki. Finland dominating the early possession, but it is very early.
    • - Coming up in just a couple of minutes will be Finland v Moldova from Group E. Neither have any real hope of qualification, but plenty of pride is to be played for
