    • 90' The whistle goes in Helsinki and the netherlands have won it 2-0 to keep up their 100% record
    • 90+3' GOAL FOR HOLLAND!!! The substitutes combine as Elia breaks at pace down the left and squares for Luuk de Jong to open his international account in the last minute with the simplest of finishes.
    • 61' It is a red card for Finland's Perparim Hetemaj, a second bookable offence and he is off making the task very difficult for the home side now
    • 58' Very nearly an equaliser for Finland, they break at pace and Stekelenburg charges out to meet Hamalainen who lobs the ball over at him, it was bouncing into the prone net before Pieters got back just in time to hack it away.
    • 54' The home side enjoying a good spell here as they have the Dutch defence in trouble with consecutive corners but both times the ball is eventually scrambled away.
    • 46' The game is back underway in Helsinki as Finland look to respond to Strootman's fantastic first half strike
    • 45 HALF TIME. Netherlands in front thanks to a lovely goal from Strootman.
    • 40 Well Netherlands are enjoying a pretty easy stroll, it must be said. They are on course for an eighth win in eight, and if they do secure three points, they will qualify if Sweden do not do likewise against San Marino.
    • 29 GOAL! 1-0 Netherlands! Sneijder dinks an inviting ball over the top of the defence but this goal is all about Strootman, who converts with a quite glorious first-time volley back across goal. Superb.
    • 26 Van Bommel underlines his reputation as a bit of a hard man by elbowing team-mate Kevin Strootman in the face. Accidentally of course, he isn't that dangerous.
    • 24 Another glorious pass from Sneijder. He is really enjoying himself this evening. Still, though, Finland have soaked up the pressure pretty effectively so far.
    • 22 A wonderful pass over the top of the defence from Sneijder finds Huntelaar. Though the striker pulls the ball down, his touch just deserts him, allowing Hradecky to clasp the ball.
    • 19 Mikael Forssell plays in Kasper Hamalainen with a quick pass and Netherlands get back to clear behind for a corner. A rare opening for the Finns in Helsinki but they fail to test Maarten Stekelenburg.
    • 15 Johnny Heitinga taps in from close range after Lukas Hradecky turns a free-kick from Wesley Sneijder into his path, but the defender is rightly given offside.
    • 12 Netherlands, by the way, are looking to win their 16th qualifier in a row across Euro and World Cup campaigns. Only Spain have more with 19 in succession.
    • 10 Mark van Bommel produces a glorious backheel for Van Persie in the middle of the park but the Arsenal man's pass is cut out as he attempts to feed Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
    • 5 It's been a comfortable start for the Dutch against Finland, who currently sit fourth in Group E with nine points from seven games. Dirk Kuyt delivers a dangerous cross from the right but cannot find an Oranje shirt.
    • 1 KICK OFF!
    • 17.57 Unsurprisingly, Bert van Marwijk opts to stick with the Netherlands side that hammered San Marino 11-0 on Friday evening. Netherlands have a maximum 21 points so far and will qualify if they secure more points than Sweden tonight. However, the Swedes play San Marino, so it's not exactly likely.
