    • 70' Frick fouls Adam, but the home team win it back. Liechtenstein hardly been seen in this half.
    • 69' Scotland appeal for a handball against a home shirt, but nothing doing. Scotland continue with this constant mode of attack without too much joy.
    • 68' Scotland are likely to need some sort of result against world champions Spain on Tuesday, but they have still to see this match through. Life in Liechtenstein yet.

    • 66' Adam's corner goes deep before Bannan fails to connect with the volley at the back post. Brighter moments for Scotland.

    • 63' Berra and Stocklasa collide and the home defender is going to require a spot of treatment.
    • 62' A crowd of 5,636 watching this match as Adam hoists a free-kick into the danger zone. Fine ball, but just didn't drop for a visiting player.
    • 61' Naismith taken out late by Stocklasa, who is going to be spoken to by the referee.

    • 51' Rechsteiner tries to go beyond Hutton, but that is a fine tackle there by the Villa full-back.
    • 50' Hanselmann caught late by Mackail-Smith. Scotland look to get back on the ball as quickly as possible.

    • 48' Plenty of bagpipes and saltires but Scotland really want to see that second goal.
    • 47' Hanselmann and Adam clash going for a 50-50 ball. Mackail-Smith putting in some shift up front.
    • 46' The second half is underway. Scotland seeking a second goal to make the evening a bit easier.

    • 35' Visiting fans in party mood. As it stands, Scotland will be a point ahead of the Czechs heading into the final round of qualifiers. Scotland back on the ball.
    • 34' Beck shoots from just outside of the area, but an easy enough stop for McGregor. That opening goal should fill Scotland with some confidence.
    • 33' Mackail-Smith is booked for pulling back Beck. Not sure why he is booked for that. Fletcher unhappy with the referee there.
    • 32' GOAL!! Mackail-Smith rises to nod the header over Jehle, who is caught in no-man's land. Fine goal and Scotland have the lead.
    • 31' Fletcher follows the lead of Bardsley as he thumps in a long-range strike. Straight down the throat of Jehle, who makes a decent stop.

    • 18' Scotland have to be aware of what is happening in midfield. The last thing they need to do is lose the first goal. A difficult night could become nigh impossible if Liechtenstein sit any deeper.
    • 17' Super save by McGregor! Beck lets fly from 30 yards. Decent effort, but the Rangers goalkeeper nudges the ball over the bar. Warning for Scotland.
    • 16' Scotland back on the ball. Liechtenstein playing a counter attacking game at home. All a bit frustrating to play against. Scotland must be patient.

    • 8' Offside flag goes up against Mackail-Smith. Great movement from him, but just offside.
    • 7' Great cross from Adam seconds later. Jehle punches it out, but the ball doesn't break to Bannan as Liechtenstein whack the ball up the park. All Scotland here.
    • 6' Frick brings down Mackail-Smith. Scotland have a free-kick. Adam dinks the ball into the box, but Mackail-Smith goes down under pressure from Hanselmann.

    • 1' We are off and running in Vaduz. Pitch is a bit wet, but Scotland are used to these conditions.
    • 18.27 Teams on their way out for this one. Scottland in yellow, Liechtenstein in blue.
    • 18.25 Match odds for this contest: Liechtenstein 11/1, Scotland 1/4, Draw 9/2.
    • 18.20 Liechtenstein have fired in fewer shots from outside the box than any other team in Euro 2012 qualifying (14). Only one of Scotland’s last 21 away games has ended in a draw. Craig Levein’s side have failed to net in nine of their last 11 international away games, but have netted exactly three in each of the other two. Scotland’s 2-1 victory over Liechtenstein back in September 2010 was the first ever meeting between the sides.
    • 18.15 Home manager Hans-Peter Zaugg comments: "We had hopes of getting a result against Scotland but in order to pull off a shock we need to have our best players available. We have been unlucky with injuries and suspensions. It will give others a chance though. The one positive is we still have enough players to call on."
    • 18.10 Liechtenstein team news: Liechtenstein's star man and all-time record goalscorer Mario Frick, who scored the opening goal in a 2-1 defeat at Hampden, starts despite a hamstring injury. Philippe Erne, who scored a brilliant goal in a 2-0 win over Lithuania in June, is also missing. Defenders Franz-Josef Vogt and Yves Oehri are ruled out along with midfielder Sandro Wieser. Franz Burgmeier is suspended and defender Michael Stocklasa is a doubt with a thigh problem. He is on the bench.

    • 18.00 Scotland will move a point ahead of Czech Republic into second spot in Group I with a win this evening before the daunting trip to face Spain on Tuesday. The Czechs finish in Lithuania. Craig Levein is wary, saying: "I've watched Liechtenstein on six DVDs, watched them all, 18 times in all. I know every player, everything about them and the players will know everything about them by the time the game comes. They lost 6-0 to Spain recently, but for 30 odd minutes they went without losing a goal."
    • 17.55 Scotland team news: Scotland captain Darren Fletcher has made a dramatic recovery from tonsillitis ahead of the must-win Euro 2012 qualifier. Manager Craig Levein had ruled the Manchester United midfielder out of Saturday's game, but Fletcher is fit. Brighton striker Craig Mackail-Smith will lead the line in the absence of Kenny Miller, who failed a fitness test on Friday and who will continue to be assessed ahead of the trip to Spain.
    • 17.50 Scotland team for this evening: McGregor, Hutton, Caldwell, Berra, Bardsley, Fletcher, Bannan, Morrison, Adam, Naismith, Mackail-Smith.
