    • Portugal
    • Bosnia-Herzegovina
    • 90' Dzeko is tripped by Moutinho and that's the last action of the match. Portugal are through to Euro 2012 and in the end it was comfortable.
    • 89' The score isn't really a reflection of how nervy this game has been at times. Until the last 20 minutes the game really was in the balance.
    • 87' Coentrao does well as he tirelessly tracks back even though the result isn't in doubt. Pareira is fouled and Portugal resume their monopoly of the ball.
    • 86' Carlos Martins fires miles over, but no one cared at this stage. Portugal really are breaking through at will.
    • 85' A freekick to Bosnia and it's poor as it flies straight into Patricio's arms. Quaresma darts between a couple of players and wins the corner.
    • 83' Portugal substitutions: Martins for Postiga and Quaresma is on for Nani.
    • 81' Micael should have made it seven. He could have just squared for Ronaldo, but understandably went for the glory. His little dink went just wide of the post.
    • 80' Goal! Portugal 6-2 Bosnia - This is now a rout. Coentrao clips in a cross to the far post and Postiga heads into the top corner. Bosnia have properly collapsed.
    • 79' Portugal 5-2 Bosnia - The bluff as everyone including Begovic thinks that Ronaldo will takke it as Veloso steps up to curl a pearler of a left footed strike into the near post.
    • 78' Nani tries to set up Ronaldo for his hattrick, but it's just cut out. Papac is then booked for a freekick just outside the area. Another Ronaldo chance...
    • 77' Begovic comes out and slices his clearance out for a throw. Micael receives a word from the referee for a foul on Misimovic.
    • 75' Bosnia really need the ball, they're quickly running out of time. This game alone proves that all is not lost yet.
    • 74' Portugal are just keepin the ball now and Bosnia are defending with two banks of four. Ronaldo thought fleetingly about the shot, but they just pass pass pass.
    • 73' Nani manages to keep the ball in, but it falls into Begovic's arms before he can reach it.
    • 72' Goal! Portugal 4-2 Bosnia - Ronaldo plays square for Micael, who prods the ball through for the onrushing Postiga, who hits a first time drive into the near post. Surely it's all over now.
    • 71' Bosnia are having trouble getting out of their own half. They eventually work it up the pitch and Misimovic tries a one-two with Dzeko that doesn't quite come off.
    • 70' It's a Bosnia ball and the crowd have now gone very very quiet. Papac cuts out Ronaldo's aquare ball, but he doesn't keep it long.
    • 69' Pareira with a poor cross when in a good position, but Portugal at least get the corner. Veloso takes...
    • 68' Spahic goes down holding his face. Dzeko picks up the yellow for winding up the fans; baiting them to whistle and jeer him even louder.
    • 66' Goal! Portugal 3-2 Bosnia - Maletic puts the ball across goal and Spahic is there to put the loose ball under Patricio. That was offside, but none of the officials gave it!
    • 65' Coentrao takes out Dzeko and a good opportunity for Bosnia - freekicks are their best chance...
    • 63' Dzeko was having his shirt pulled - freekick Bosnia....Portugal substitution: Meireles is replaced by Ruben Micael.
    • 62' Ronaldo's low cross is knocked out for a corner by Papac as Portugal threaten to run riot.
    • 61' Beautiful little cross from Nani from deep and Coentrao is there to meet it with his head. Begovic pulls off the save.
    • 60' Ronaldo again breaks the offside trap. His touch slightly lets him down as he pulls down a high ball. He flicks it up though and it hits Papac's hand. Could have been given and Ronaldo screams his case. The referee though ignores the claims.
    • 59' Misimovic tries a reverse pass through to Dzeko, who isn't on his wavelength and though the ball would come into his feet.
    • 57' Coentrao tries to chip the ball over Begovic to the far corner, but the execution is poor and it sails well over.
    • 56' Bosnia substitution: Maletic replaces Rahimic as Bosnia go all out for the two goals.
    • 55' Bosnia have thrown this away. It is so incredibly stupid to get yourself sent off for something like that.
    • 54' To make things worse Lulic has been sent off in the aftermatch of that goal. A second yellow for presumably dissent.
    • 53' Goal! Portugal 3-1 Bosnia - Ronaldo breaks the offside trap after a lovely ball from Moutinho and scampers down the left. Begovic comes out and Ronaldo goes round him with ease. A bit of a tight angle is no trouble though and he slots away.
    • 52' Ronaldo with the stepover and he tries to power down the left. Spahic is there to cover though and slides for the corner.
    • 51' Meireles shows the ref the damage done to his leg and Stark agrees, showing Medunjanin a yellow.
    • 50' Rahimic uses the hand to control the bouncing ball, but the freekick was woefully overhit and it's straight out of play.
    • 49' Nani with quick feet, but the ball goes all the way back to defence and Alves under pressure boots the ball out of play.
    • 48' Dzeko has his shirt tugged by Veloso and wins his team the reprieve as they were pinned back in and around their own area.
    • 47' Coentrao wins the freekick and Portugal win the early corner to be taken by Meireles.
    • 46' Bosnia get us back underway and aer shooting from right to left. They just have to score once in this half to go through.
    • 45+1' The freekick is struck with ferocity, but it's a good deal wide and that is the last action of the half as the referee blows.
    • 44' Nani with some lovely control, but Pareira can't keep the ball in play and it's out for a throw. One more Ronaldo range freekick coming up though...
    • 43' Ronaldo is upended by Rahimic and it's a definite yellow. The whole complexion of the game has changed here though.
    • 42' Coentrao certainly had his hand well above his head when he challenged for the ball. It was so tough to tell whether he actually touched it though.
    • 41' Goal! Portugal 2-1 Bosnia - So cool...Misimovic waits for the keeper to commit himself, then sends the ball the other way. This is interesting.
    • 40' Bosnia penalty!! Coentrao is penalised for handball...
    • 39' Misimovic jinks inside Coentrao and on his left foots smacks a shot towards the far corner adn it's palmed away by Patricio.
    • 37' Moutinho skips past the keeper with a beautiful first touch, but is forced out wide. There are defenders scrabbling to get back and his cutback doesn't reach a team mate and it's cleared.
    • 36' Postiga is booked for diving in the penalty area. That was a penalty...it was one of those where the defender completely misses the ball, but Postiga does fall over the leg.
    • 35' That effort has given Bosnia a bit of encouragment and they are now on the front foot. If they could get one back before halftime that would make things interesting...
    • 34' Dzeko's header from a brilliant cross from the left hits the underside of the crossbar and fall a foot from the line. Patricio scrambles and holds on to the ball. That's as close as you can get to scoring without actually scoring.
    • 33' Alves is then fouled by Dzeko as they both jump for the same ball from the goalkick.
    • 32' Bruno Alves meets the ball with a towering header at the far post, but it travels a couple of feet over the bar.
    • 31' Dzeko is pulled up for offside and from the restart Portugal win the corner, which will be taken by Meireles.
    • 30' The ball is clipped over the defence for Ronaldo, who tries a flick though there was no one there to collect it.
    • 28' Portugal are keeping the ball like Spain and the crowd are 'ole'-ing each pass and whistling the few occasions Bosnia get the ball.
    • 27' Moutinho plays the short corner and puts it in from an angle. It's headed away and Moutinho's follow up shot is poor and it dribbles wide.
    • 26' Begovic was four or five yards off his line when the shot came in, which made it harder for him, but he wouldn't have been expecting the shot from there.
    • 25' Goal! Portugal 2-0 Bosnia - What a goal! Nani with an absolute stunner from 35 yards. He smashes it into the top corner with Begovic flaying at thin air.
    • 24' Meireles lofts it to the far post and Begovic does well to take the catch on the stretch. Bosnia can't do anything on the break and give it straight back to Portugal...
    • 23' Nice one touch play gets Coentrao free down the left. He plays an early ball into the box that is cut out for a corner.
    • 21' Ronaldo's freekick is vicious and arrows towards the top corner, but Begovic gets to it and palms it wide for a corner.
    • 20' Lulic catches Pepe as they challenge for a bouncing ball. Nani beats his first man and the second takes him down. Or at least Nani makes it look as if that is the case. Ronaldo range...
    • 19' Dzeko drives up the right hand side and appears to win the corner off Coentrao. It was a 50-50 call though and the referee sides with Portugal.
    • 18' Coentrao has now gone down hurt and is taking a while to get onto his feet. The referee makes him leave the field before he can rejoin.
    • 17' Dzeko beats two players in a tight area, but undoes his good work with a poor square pass that's cut out.
    • 16' A great ball from Nani to Ronaldo who is darting up the left hand side. An exemplary first touch, but he has very little support and elects to shoot from a tight angle and it's blocked.
    • 15' Bosnia get a freekick on the halfway line to ease the pressure on their own goal. They keep possession well, but are forced back by a packed Portuguese defence.
    • 14' Bosnia win it then lose it straight after. The ball comes over to the far post for Roinaldo, but the flag goes up as Postiga was slightly offside. Surely he wasn't active?
    • 13' That goal isn't actually a huge blow to Bosnia. They only have to get a score draw to go through, so only need to score once as it is.
    • 12' Papac lets the ball run out of play for a Bosnia goal kick. Lulic wins the ball in the air, but they can't keep hold of the ball.
    • 11' Alves pumps the ball forward England style and Postiga can't keep it in. Portugal win the ball high up the pitch though and have the throw.
    • 10' Dzeko fouls Meireles, who's not getting off the ground any time soon. It's too early to be time-wasting - he must actually be hurt.
    • 8' Goal! Portugal 1-0 Bosnia - Ridiculous! Ronaldo scores direct from the freekick, which was almost 40 yards from goal. Begovic left way too much room on his right hand side and Ronaldo took full advantage.
    • 7' Ronaldo is fouled by Jahic and it's within his range...just....
    • 5' Begovic gets plenty of distance on the goal kick, but Pepe heads it back. Ronaldo hits a first time shot from the edge of the area. It's saved at Begovic's far post. Meireles charges in and misses an open goal as he puts it wide, but luckily for him the linesman and flagged for offside.
    • 4' Freekick to Portugal with a foul on Nani. Portugal are dominant at the start of this match.
    • 3' Moutinho plays the ball out to the left to Ronaldo, who plays a first time ball into the box and it's easily cut out.
    • 2' Portugal are on the attack and appeal for a freekick just outside the area, but the referee ignore their appeals.
    • 1' Portugal to kick off and they are shooting from right to left. Pepe receives the ball and launches it straight out of play.
    • 20:55 Portugal have seemingly lacked a truly world class centre forward for years now. Helder Postiga did nothing to refute that claim in the first-leg, hence their over-reliance on Ronaldo, which in turn means he underperforms in a Portuguese shirt. H just appears to try too hard.
    • 20:50 Portugal are favourites now but Bosnia have a chance, with a scoring draw enough to send them through. Bosnia are out at 17/2 to get the victory on the night, which seems ridiculous given the quality of some of their offensive players. Portugal are odds on at 4/9.
    • 20:45 For Bosnia, the positive thing is that two years ago they went into the second leg of their World Cup qualifying play-off against Portugal a goal down; this time they've gone one better and are level. The down side is that last time the second leg was at home in Zenica whereas this time they go to Lisbon.
    • 20:40 Bosnia coach Safet Susic: "We can say that Portugal are favourites, they will play in front of their crowd and there will be 60,000 spectators in the stands. My men play in big European teams and they do not feel the pressure. They are used to playing in full stadiums. Portugal have very good players, but we also have a good team and I am confident for this match."
    • 20:35 Portugal coach Paulo Bento: "It will be very tight, but we’re convinced we will go on and take control of the match. We still have a 50 per cent chance of going to the Euro. It’s a good result, but it’s still leaves us in a risky position as we didn’t score an away goal. We’ll be playing a team which has all-round technical ability and possesses a number of fine individual players. At the end of these 90 minutes we will be a happy team and, more importantly, a happy country.”
    • 20:30 The teams are in - Portugal: Rui Patricio, Bruno Alves, Fabio Coentrao, Joao Pereira, Pepe, Veloso, Joao Moutinho, Meireles, Nani, Ronaldo, Postiga. Subs: Eduardo, Almeida, Ruben Amorim, Rolando, Ruben Micael, Quaresma, Carlos Martins///Bosnia-Herzegovina: Begovic, Papac, Spahic, Jahic, Rahimic, Pjanic, Misimovic, Lulic, Medunjanin, Zahirovic, Dzeko. Subs: Avdukic, Besic, Muslimovic, Ibisevic, Ibricic, Maletic, Pandza.
    • 20:25 Bosnia midfielder Miralem Pjanic and striker Edin Dzeko, who had a quiet first leg, are expected to shake off minor knocks and play in Lisbon. Knowing a scoring draw would take them to the finals, coach Safet Susic could be tempted to start with a more adventurous 4-4-2 formation with Vedad Ibisevic starting alongside Dzeko up front.
    • 20:20 With no new injuries or suspensions, Portugal boss Paulo Bento is likely to name the same starting XI that toiled to a goalless draw in the first leg in Zenica. Bento will be hoping the added support of the Portuguese capital will spur his star-studded players on to the win they need to progress.
