    • 71' Kuyt attempting to change that with a shot from 25 yards but it's six yards wide of the far post.
    • 70' At the moment it's Chelsea v Benfica in the Europa League final.
    • 69' Erkin lines up a free-kick from 30 yards but it's way over the top.
    • 68' Benfica in the driving seat for the first time in the tie thanks to 30-goal Cardozo.
    • 67' GOAL! 3-1 to Benfica. Cardozo gets on the end of Luisao's attempted shot from a long throw and fires into the far corner. 3-2 on aggregate to Benfica.
    • 66' Lots of possession in and around the area as Benfica try to penetrate this yellow and black wall.
    • 64' The visitors offering very little as an attacking threat. Surely it's only a matter of time until Benfica create a big chance. The question is, will they take it?
    • 63' Play resumes and Benfica are on the attack once again.
    • 62' FENERBAHCE sub: Bekir Ä°rtegün on for Gonul.
    • 61' Gonul has been taken away on a stretcher on a trolley for further treatment.
    • 60' And the treatment continues. Gonul is going off but how badly injured is he? Fingers are crossed for him here.
    • 59' Play has been stopped for Gonul to receive treatment. The stretcher has been called and it looks like he'll be replaced. Hopefully he will be okay. He showed great bravery to win that header at the far post.

    • 57' LATEST: Chelsea 3-1 Basel. That's 5-2 on aggregate now. Chelsea v Basel: LIVE

    • 55' Reto Ziegler concedes a corner after tracking the powerful run of Salvio. It's only half-cleared and Benfica win another set piece.
    • 54' Gaitan teases a delicious ball in from the left but Salvio can't quite get there. The pressure is building for the hosts.
    • 53' It's looking like Chelsea will be in Amsterdam - but this semi is still too close to call.
    • 52' STAT ALERT: Benfica and Chelsea FC transferred from the UEFA Champions League group stage and will be hoping to emulate the feat of inaugural victors Atletico, who won the 2009/10 UEFA Europa League after entering in the knockout phase.

    • 50' LATEST: Chelsea 2-1 Basel. Chelsea v Basel: LIVE

    • 46' KICK OFF! FENERBAHCE restart the match.
    • 45+2' HALF-TIME: Benfica 2-1 Fener. The hosts lead on the night but it's Kuyt's away goal that means it's 2-2 on aggregate with the Turkish team going through on away goals as it stands.
    • 45'+1 Two minutes added as Benfica press.
    • 45' Some of the players will have been happy with that break in play as it's been end-to-end stuff.
    • 44' FENERBAHCE sub: Sahin, limping on the far side, is replaced by Mehmet Topuz.
    • 43' It's been a superb first half. Kuyt is back on but it looks like Fener are going to make a change anyway.
    • 42' Kuyt is currently down injured and receiving treatment. Play has stopped.
    • 40' HUGE chance for Fener. The visitors break forward and Erkin's ball across the six yard box evades Sow, but falls to Kuyt. The Dutchman sees the lights of the goal but fires into the side netting with the goal gaping.
    • 39' STAT ALERT: Fenerbahce's record in seven matches against Portuguese opposition is W4 D0 L3.
    • 38' Pereira breaks into the box but loses his footing at the vital moment. The momentum is back with the home team now. Fener need to see this through ot the break without conceding again.
    • 36' Ahead of tonight's game Cardozo was interviewed about his goals in this season's Europa League. He said: "I just try to do my job well and help the team. Whether I score or not doesn't matter. Thanks God, it is going well and I'm scoring goals, so I can be important for the team."
    • 35' GOAL! Cardozo makes it 2-1 to Benfica! A quick free-kick finds the striker on the edge of the box and he turns before firing low into the far corner. It's 2-2 on aggregate but Fener still in charge thanks to tonight's away goal.
    • 35' Gaitan takes the ball on the run and leaves a leg in as he races past Kuyt. Again there are huge calls for a decision from the ref, but again he says no.
    • 34' Perez booked for Benfica.
    • 33' A corner for Benfica results in a goalmouth melee and huge appeals for handball. The ref says no to a spot-kick and is about to brandish another card for the loud protests.
    • 32' Cardozo meets a right-wing cross with a spectacular volley from a tight angle. Decent effort that flies just wide.
    • 31' Cristian booked for Fener - he too will miss the final if they make it to Amsterdam.
    • 30' Cristian plays in the marauding Sow down the right and he beats the offside trap to race in on goal before toe-poking well wide at the near post. A real waste.
    • 29' Pereira booked and will miss the final if Benfica make it.
    • 28' Sow gets away in the inside right channel and hits a shot across goal that Artur is forced to react smartly to keep out.
    • 27' Pereira winds up the right foot and hammers one high into the stand. The away team will take that all day.
    • 26' Benfica have completely lost their swagger now and it's the visitors who look calm and composed.
    • 25' Kuyt's goal means the tie cannot go to extra-time. We will have a winner inside 90 minutes. Benfica need three now.
    • 24' Massive, massive moment for the Turkish team. It looked like a soft penalty as Kuyt's flick on hit Garay on the arm at close quarters. The referee decided it was a spot-kick and it has changed the entire complexion of the game.
    • 23' GOAL! Fener level it up! KUYT tucks home the penalty. The man for the big occasion does it again. 1-1 on the night and 2-1 on aggregate to Fenerbahce.
    • 22' PENALTY to Fenerbahce!
    • 21' A spell of some much-needed possession for the Turkish outfit....
    • 20' Fener trying to put a first real attack of the match together but it's not happening. Kuyt attempts to spread the play and arrows a pass out for a throw. They need to find their feet fast or Benfica will run riot.
    • 19' Fener fans will be lamenting those missed chances last week even more now. THREE times they hit the woodwork. And now it's all Benfica and all-square in the tie.
    • 18' Maxi Pereira is given the freedom of the right flank once again and he whips in a cross for Cardozo to head just wide under pressure.
    • 17' A Benfica free-kick is dinked back into the area by Salvio for Luisao who gets his header all wrong. The Brazilian needed to nod that back across goal and it would have been a major problem for the away team. Instead they breathe a sigh of relief with a goal kick.
    • 16' STAT ALERT: Benfica's record in eight games against Turkish clubs is W3 D2 L3 (W3 D0 L1 at home – W0 D2 L2 in Turkey).
    • 15' The duo are back on their feet and play resumes with Benfica on the front foot.
    • 14' Play is halted following a clash of heads between Luisao and Moussa Sow.
    • 13' Benfica are looking dangerous every time they push forward. The right flank is particularly profitable at the moment.
    • 11' A major blow for Fener who are starting to make their first strides inside the oppostion half. Salih Ucan attempts to guide a header down in the area but he is penalised for a push.
    • 10' That was a really well manufactured goal from the hosts who have made a fast start here. It could be a long night for Fener if the first 10 minutes are anything to go by.
    • 9' GOAL! Benfica take a 1-0 lead. Lima skips down the right and plays the ball back for Gaitan who shows great awareness to fire an outside of the foot shot in off the far post. All square on aggregate (1-1).
    • 8' Cardozo clips in an exquisite cross for Lima, who falls on the ball six yards out and is adjudged to handle it with the goal at his mercy. Let off.
    • 7' The visitors are already aiming to play on the break and Moussa Sow is attempting to feed on scraps.
    • 6' Benfica's defeat in Turkey ended a 38-match unbeaten run in all competitions, but the Eagles have still not lost in 19 home games. A draw would od Fener though as they lead 1-0 on aggregate.
    • 5' Cardozo spins on the edge of the area and fires in a shot that Volkan Demirel gathers well at his near post.
    • 4' Fener looking nervy early on. Benfica have already set up camp in the Turkish side's half.
    • 3' STAT ALERT: Should Fenerbahce avoid defeat in Lisbon, they will not only reach their first European final but they would also set a Europa League record run of seven away matches unbeaten. They are currently tied on six with Atletico Madrid, FC Porto and PAOK.
    • 2' Eduardo Salvio is first to show for Benfica. The forward smashes in a long range shot that loops off a defender and falls kindly for the keeper.
    • 1' KICK OFF! Benfica get the game underway. Fener lead 1-0 on aggregate.
    • 20.00 The players are about to take centre stage. Can Benfica maintain their imperious home form and book a place in Amsterdam? Or will Fenerbahce make history by reaching a first ever European final? We are about to find out in what is a finely-poised semi final, second leg.
    • 19.55 Benfica name a very different team to the one that lost the first-leg in Turkey. In come Brazilian defender Luisao, Andre Almeida, Nicolas Gaitan, Enzo Perez and Lima. Fenerbahce make three enforced changes from the 1-0 win. Selcuk Sahin, Caner Erkin and Salih Ucan all get a chance to impress in place of Raul Meireles (injured) and suspended duo Mehmet Topal and Pierre Webo.
    • 19.50 STAT ALERT: Something will have to give in Lisbon as Fenerbahce are yet to lose in six away matches in this season's competition (W4 D2) while Benfica are unbeaten in 13 home games over three UEFA Europa League campaigns, winning 12 of them.
    • 19.45 There are eight players involved tonight who are a yellow card away from missing a potential final. BENFICA: Maxi Pereira, Rodrigo, Pablo Aimar, Carlos Martins and Lorenzo Melgarejo. FENERBAHCE: Volkan Demirel, Reto Ziegler and Egemen Korkmaz.
    • 19.40 Meanwhile, Fener boss Aykut Kocaman feels the tie is now 50-50 despite holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg. He told his pre-match press conference: "We will be playing one of the biggest matches of our history. We are one step away from the final. Before the first leg I said Benfica were closer to the final because of their experience. But after our win, we equalled the chances. Because we won the first leg, they say we played good football. I think it is more 'right football' than 'good'."
    • 19.35 Benfica coach Jorge Jesus has suggested that his team's home form will be crucial to the Eagles' hopes. He told reporters: "Fatigue is our problem. We are fighting on all fronts. Fenerbahce have a gameplan and the only thing that changes game-to-game is some of the names on the teamsheet. We have some experience of these big European matches and we will not make any major changes – we need the fans behind us though. If we show the form we have done at home this season, we will go through."
    • 19.30 Fener's 1-0 success in last Thursday's first leg mirrored the score in Turkey when the two teams last met in European competition back in 1975-76. However, the Yellow Canaries will hope history doesn't repeat itself tonight as they were humbled by a 7-0 scoreline in Portugal.
    • 19.28 Lazio's Libor Kozak is the leading scorer in this season's Europa League with 10 goals to his name. But what about those featuring in the semi-finals tonight? Check out our list of EL hotshots. Europa League Top Scorers
    • 19.23 Benfica's Oscar Cardozo has also been speaking to the media about what a first European trophy since 1962 would mean to the club. He said: "(It would mean) a lot, honestly. Benfica haven't been in a European final for a long time, so it will truly be beautiful to win this competition and bring joy to the people who are always with us, in good and bad. So hopefully we can reach the final and win this trophy."
    • 19.20 Former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt is dreaming of a Fenerbahce v Chelsea final - and a reunion with his old Kop boss, Rafael Benitez. Kuyt said: "I owe him (Rafa) a great deal but I would still love to beat him if we both make it to the final. I know from my experience with Liverpool that anything is possible. We’ve got a huge game in Benfica and it’s hard to look beyond that. But, like I say, if it did turn out that way it would be special.”
    • 19.17 In tonight's other semi-final Chelsea are aiming to complete the job against FC Basel and book a place in the Europa League final. They are currently 2-1 up from the first leg and you can keep up-to-date with all the latest from Stamford Bridge right here on Eurosport. Chelsea v FC Basel: LIVE

    • 19.12 As for Benfica? Well, they won 2-1 at Maritimo to remain four points clear of FC Porto at the top of the standings with three games to play. Tonight is a big game for them - but so is Sunday, May 12 when they travel to Porto in what could be the title decider. League standings: Portugal
    • 19.10 Fenerbahce warmed up for what is being billed as the biggest match in their history with a 2-1 home success over Kayserispor. However, their hopes of catching league leaders Galatasaray are fading fast as they are seven points adrift with just three matches to play. The two teams are set to go head-to-head on Saturday May 11, but it could be too late for Fener by that point. League standings: Turkey
    • 19.03 Confirmed teams - BENFICA: Artur, Pereira, Garay, Luisao, Andre Almeida, Matic, Gaitan, Perez, Cardozo, Lima, Salvio... Subs: Lopes, Jardel, Aimar, Carlos Martins, Urreta, Rodrigo, Melgarejo. /// FENERBAHCE: Volkan Demirel, Korkmaz, Yobo, Ziegler, Selcuk Sahin, Salih Ucan, Gokhan Gonul, Cristian, Sow, Kuyt, Caner Erkin... Subs: Gunok, Ali Kaldirim, Irtegun, Topuz, Stoch, Senturk, Simsek
    • 19.01 Fenerbahce come into the match leading 1-0 on aggregate thanks to Egemen Korkmaz's second-half winner in Turkey last week.

  1. all the Turkish came here and talked like their already in the finals... what about it now 3 but could have been 4 or 5 couldn't it??? Benfica actually did not have a very good game in the first leg and could have been worse but still we were confident we could easily overcome the marginal 1 goal from first leg because we always score a lot at home. So it did not make sence you lot talking as if you had a comfortable lead that Benfica could not turn around but now you woke up this morning it was reality check and...bye bye finals!!!!
