    • 90+5' The referee brings the match to an end. Fenerbahce run out 2-0 winners over 10-man Lazio and surely take a huge stride towards the Europa League semi-finals. Thanks for joining us tonight!
    • 90+4' Raul Meireles is booked for a high challenge on Cana late into the match.
    • 90+1' We'll have five minutes of stoppage time at the end of the match.
    • 90' GOAL!! Fenerbahce double their lead as Kuyt takes advantage of Marchetti’s sloppy save. Erkin’s free kick was parried by the keeper and Kuyt was the first man to the ball, smashing it home from 4 yards.
    • 89' Mauri is shown a yellow card for a very high foot on Topuz. No doubt about that one...
    • 87' Ziegler cuts in from the right after dropping short for a corner. The defender evades on challenge and sends a low, hard shot towards the near post which Marchetti has to be on his toes to save.
    • 86' Lazio’s Hernanes, who has played every single Europa League fixture this season, is taken off as Mauri is the man to come on.
    • 85' Moussa Sow is taken off as Mehmet Topuz is Fenerbahce’s last substitution.
    • 84' Webo is sent down the left and skips past a challenge on his way to the byline. He cuts back before playing the ball into the feet of the onrushing Erkin, who does superbly well to control the ball. He can’t quite release the ball in time to play in Sow as Radu clears.
    • 84' Webo is sent down the left and skips past a challenge on his way to the byline. He cuts back before playing the ball into the feet of the onrushing Erkin, who does superbly well to control the ball. He can’t quite release the ball in time to play in Sow as Radu clears.
    • 83' Lazio look deflated after that goal. They look lethargic in their attacks and are conceding possession on every occasion.
    • 82’ Kuyt takes the ball off Candreva and advances down the right. He feeds the ball to the overlapping Ucan whose cross is rather a poor one; flying straight into the arms of Marchetti.
    • 81' Webo also went into the book following his goal. He ran straight across to the corner flag and booted it up into the air.
    • 80' Radu was actually booked for his protests. He was furious at the decision and you can’t really blame him. He used his arms for leverage whilst challenging for a header and, on his way down, the ball caught his arm.
    • 79' GOAL!! Fenerbahce take the lead as Webo slams the ball into the bottom left-hand corner, sending Marchetti the wrong way.
    • 78' Radu is booked for his troubles.
    • 77' PENALTY TO FENERBAHCE. Radu is penalised for handball following a corner. Webo will take it.
    • 76' Very good play from the homeside. Kuyt, Sow and Webo link up as Meireles’ dummy run opens up some space. Sow gets into the box and looks to cross but the centre is blocked.
    • 75' The hosts introduce Salih Ucan as Cristian is brought off.
    • 74' Lazio are really struggling to break down their opponents. Despite having ten men, they’re not playing too badly but are being stifled in the midfield. Radu has a wild effort on goal from all of 40 yards that flies over.
    • 73' Webo is at it again. The striker attempts another overhead kick and it goes about as well as the last one did. He pulls out halfway through and is penalised for a high foot.
    • 72' Libor Kozak, this season’s Europa League top scorer, is replaced by Germany striker Miroslav Klose.
    • 71' Caner Erkin is introduced as Mehmet Topal is replaced for the hosts.
    • 70' Good effort from Sow. Good stop from Marchetti. Kuyt plays in Webo as Lazio are caught short at the back. The striker, under pressure, sends it out wide to allow for Sow to cut in from the right before curling an effort on target which is saved by the keeper.
    • 69' Ledesma has his first effort on goal since coming off the bench. It’s from distance, though, as Lazio look to break. The ball is moved from right to left before the substitute picks it up. With little on, he opts to shoot at goal but drags it wide of the post.
    • 68' Kuyt finds some space down the right and is able to send in a volleyed cross. It’s a deep one which forces Webo into an acrobatic effort of which he can only head some way wide.
    • 67' Sow is holding his hamstring. He was chasing the ball down in an attempt to stop it going out for a goal kick and stops suddenly. He hasn’t signalled to the bench but is walking very sheepishly.
    • 66' Great work from Ziegler. He hurries and harries Candreva to dispossess the Lazio man. Candreva chases down the left-back but is left in a heap on the floor as a superb drag-back helps the defender get out of trouble.
    • 65' Lazio are sitting deep at the moment. They’re really pegged in their own half as Fener knock it around the final third, trying to find that gap to open up the Italians.
    • 64' That’s another real blow for Lazio. Ederson had been their best player this evening, possibly the best player on the park.
    • 63' Cristian Ledesma is introduced as Ederson limps off the field. Not something that the visitors would have wanted to see.
    • 62' The referee has dropped his cards. Cristian picks them up and hands them back without too much bother. Could have had another Paul Gascoigne moment...
    • 61' This has become much more exciting ever since Onazi was given his marching orders. Both sides have had a number of good efforts in the previous few minutes. Topal has an effort from distance but catches it all wrong as Ciani clears.
    • 60' What an effort from Candreva. This game is really opening up now. The midfielder shows a quick turn of pace on the edge of the penalty area before firing a hugely powerful shot towards goal that catches the side netting before Volkan has even moved.
    • 59' Meireles is at it again. The former Liverpool and Chelsea man sets his sights from distance and stings the palms of the Lazio custodian without really troubling the man.
    • 58' The corner is taken short once again as Ziegler ventures forward. Nobody has picked up the left-back who is able to have a pop at goal. It’s a defender’s shot, too, as it goes a mile wide.
    • 57' Top save from Marchetti. Meireles receives the ball with his back to goal and is able to turn before fizzing a wicked effort on goal. The keeper sees it early and is able to palm the ball around the post for a corner.
    • 56' The visitors earn a free kick after Topal brings down Hernanes 30 yards out. The Lazio man looked to be picking up some momentum before being brought down. Hernanes takes the set-piece himself and sends it high and wide.
    • 55' Marchetti is booked. For time wasting. There is over half an hour to go. Strange decision from the keeper.
    • 54' Fener earn themselves a corner which is taken short. Cristian drives the ball in low towards the near post where Sow is waiting. The winger beats his man to the ball but can only send it wide from inside the six yards box. Very close.
    • 53' Hernanes gathers the ball 35 yards from goal and has a rather ambitious effort take a deflection that loops wildly into the hands of the greateful Volkan.
    • 52' Ederson goes into the book now. He is brought down by Sow and is furious with the referee for not blowing earlier. The midfielder launches the ball into the floor out of frustration and is booked.
    • 51' That would have been some way to take advantage of Lazio’s plight. The tattooed midfielder can’t believe his luck as he sees his effort bounce back off the upright. What have Fener got to do to score?!
    • 50' POST!! What an effort from Meierles. The ball is rolled across the 18 yard box and the midfielder opens up his body and curls his effort towards the right-hand post. It has Marchetti beaten but the ball cannons back off the post.
    • 49' RED CARD!! Onazi is given his marching orders. He’d been throwing himself into challenges all night and had been booked but opted to lunge in at Cristian and is sent off.
    • 48' Topal is caught late by Ederson and is clutching at his foot. There was nothing malicious in the challenge, though.
    • 47' Fener instantly take hold of the ball, with Kuyt dispossessing Radu before attempting a long ball across to Sow. It’s picked off and the hosts have a throw-in.
    • 46' The second half is under way. The visitors, all in white, kick off.
    • 45+2' Korkman loses possession of the ball and rashly goes into a challenge with Gonzalez, missing the ball and fouling the man. The referee awards a yellow card and then blows the whistle to end the first half.
    • 45+1' The hosts look to be seeing this first half out now. They're just knocking the ball around waiting for that whistle.
    • 45' We'll have two minutes of added time at the end of this first half. Can either side grab a goal?
    • 44' Sow flicks the ball in between Ciani and Cana and bursts towards the goal. Marchetti is off his line in an instant and claims the ball at the feet of the winger. Great keeping.
    • 43' What a strange decision from the referee. Lulic holds the ball up on the left and looks to fend off challenge after challenge. He shows incredible strength to keep hold of the ball before being pushed over by Kuyt. Somehow Fener get the free kick.
    • 42' Radu shows great footwork on the left flank, skipping past two challenges and somehow managing to keep the ball in play. He gets to the byline and, realising that he is going nowhere, throws himself to the floor looking for a free kick. Nothing given.
    • 41' With half time fast approaching, neither side will want to concede now. The ball is being played around patiently in the middle of the park.
    • 40' Fener go on the counter and attack in numbers. Webo bursts down the left and sends in a decent cross but there’s only Kuyt in the box who is outmuscled.
    • 39' Hernanes’ inswinging corner is met by the head of Gonzalez but Topal gets something on it and diverts it out for a corner. It was a fantastic set-piece from the Lazio man.
    • 38’ Great defending from Korkmaz. Candreva somehow manages to evade the challenges of Ziegler and Meireles and has a clear sight of goal but the sliding challenge from Korkmaz blocks the shot and sends it out for a corner.
    • 37' In fairness, that really wasn’t much of a chance. Ederson was really stretching for the ball and the angle was against him. He bust a gut trying to get to the ball but Volkan wouldn’t have been troubled by the shot had it been on target.
    • 36' As I say that, Lulic is sent down the left and sends in a delightful ball. Yobo waits for it to come before he can clear it and is beaten to it by a siding Ederson who can only divert it wide from 6 yards.
    • 35' They’ve been out-of-sorts so far this evening, Lazio; struggling to string more than a couple of passes together and frequently surrendering possession.
    • 34' Sow picks up possession in a very decent area on the left but dwells on the ball. He has two chances to pass it but opts to take on his man and is dispossessed. Both Meireles and Webo aren’t best pleased.
    • 33' Kuyt hasn’t seen a great deal of the ball tonight despite his side having the majority of the possession. He’s been very ineffective so far, the ex-Liverpool man.
    • 32' Ziegler’s throw-in finds the chest of Kuyt, who turns well to roll the ball into the feet of Cristian on the edge of the penalty area. Radu is on hand to get the block in.
    • 30' There’s obviously a bit of afters here. The very next time the Fener striker gets a touch on the ball, Onazi is straight in there. He goes straight through the back of his opponent and goes into the book.
    • 29' Play finally resumes and we have a bit of a comedic moment. A throw-in is launched into the box as Webo starts to shape up for an overhead kick. The striker obviously decides against it but only as he is already in mid-air. He pull out but manages to wrap his legs around Onazi and bring the Lazio man to the floor.
    • 28' The keeper is still down and Cana is having a word with the referee. He clearly thinks that it was a free kick but it was more of a case of bad judgement from the keeper.
    • 27' Cristian’s free kick from is sent into the box from the right. Marchetti comes off his line to claim but gets nowhere near the ball and hits Webo hard. There’s no free kick given but the keeper is down and is holding his side.
    • 26' Gonul is going mad at the referee. He wins the free kick but the referee seems to take an age to give it. He was having his shirt nearly ripped off his back.
    • 25' Lulic’s corner is a devilish one and falls right under the cross bar but Volkan brushes of the challenge from Kozak to claim the ball.
    • 24' Ederson goes close. The quick forward faces Yobo head-on and produces a number of step-overs before going left. The Lazio man sends a shot on goal that takes a deflection off of Yobo and over the bar. Only just, though.
    • 23' Webo and Ciani come together in the box as both players chase down a through ball. The Fener striker falls to the floor and the home crowd appeal for a penalty but there was nothing from the players.
    • 22' Great play from Cristian. Webo’s pass is astray but the midfielder somehow manages to get it under control and then produces great footwork to wriggle away from two challenges to spray the ball out wide to Sow.
    • 21' Fener still look at complete ease on the ball. When there’s nothing on they are more than happy to take their time and play the ball back into their own half. They really aren’t rushing things here...
    • 20' Lazio have their first shot on target. Lulic trades a one-two with Hernanes before playing in Unazi but the effort is week and Volkan is able to gather with real ease.
    • 19' Gonul’s free kick from the right is wasted. The hosts had packed the box but the defender opts to switch the play to the right flank and the lack of pace in the attack sees the defender slowly make their way back into their own half.
    • 18' Ciani flies into the back of Webo on the halway line and is lucky to escape the book. He is told by the referee that is his last chance. He’s made a few sloppy challenges so far and is almost certain to go into the book tonight.
    • 17' POST!! Following a dismal free kick from Topal, sow gathers the ball on the edge of the penalty area and mishits a shot at goal at the first chance of asking. Marchetti gets a hand to it and is able to push it onto the post. Great save.
    • 16' Webo is clattered 30 yards from goal. The striker, with his back to goal, collects the ball but is hit heavily but Onazi.
    • 15' The hosts aren’t giving their opponents a moment’s rest. Aykut Kocaman really has got his players fired up for this game. They’ve been the much better side so far...
    • 14' There really wasn’t a great deal in that. Korkmaz had his eye on the ball and it was merely accidental, although the Lazio players aren’t too happy.
    • 13' The visitors are screaming for a penalty. Ederson finds some space in the box and looks to get on the end of Hernanes pass but clashes legs with Korkmaz as both players hit the deck. Volkan gathers the ball and the ref waves play on.
    • 12' Korkmaz, under no pressure at all, is able to break out of his own half and venture forward. Finally, Gonzales closes the defender down forcing him to go out wide where Sow’s touch lets him down and possession is surrendered.
    • 11' Ederson controls the ball very well on his chest before flicking the ball over the top of Meireles and then taking a palm to the face. The visitors looked like they were building a decent attack there so it was a good free kick to concede.
    • 10' Volkan gets a rare touch on the ball. Ziegler attempts a header back to the goalkeeper but there really isn’t enough on it and the custodian needs to race off his line to clear.
    • 9' It’s been very much Fenerbahce on the front foot so far. They’ve not really threatened their opponents but certainly look the most comfortable on the ball.
    • 8' There’ve been a few clashes of heads so far. Korkmaz goes up with Hernanes and he is caught in the side of the head. The player looks in a bit of pain and we’ll have a break in play here.
    • 7' Meireles, advancing into the Lazio half, looks for a pass but nothing is on. He wriggles one way and then the other before flicking the ball past Radu and then being brought to the floor. Decent position, this.
    • 6' Topal now goes into a headed challenge with Onazi. The Turk rises highest and wins the ball but definitely catches the his man with a stray elbow.
    • 5' Webo is back in the thick of the action. Meireles sends him over the top and the striker is able to beat Ciani to the ball, taking a touch out of his feet before stretching for the ball and firing wide from the edge of the penalty area.
    • 4' Cristian’s pass into the feet of Webo is too firm and the striker can’t get it under control. Candreva comes across to take possession and is nearly caught by a very late challenge from the striker.
    • 3' Fener have seen all of the ball in these opening few minutes. They’re pushing up high and are knocking it around well.
    • 2' Korkmaz goes long looking for the run of Kuyt but Radu is on hand to head away. Topal goes into a challenge with Lulic and the two men clash heads. They’re down but it doesn’t look too serious.
    • 1' Scottish referee William Collum blows his whistle to get the game under way. The hosts kick off.
    • 20:00 Both teams are in the tunnel. The home crowd are making a real noise here. Kick-off is just minutes away.
    • 19:55 Following their progression through to the last eight, Fener have now reached the quarter-finals of all three major UEFA competitions, having featured in the Champions League quarters in 2007/08 and the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1963/64. They lost both of those ties, though.
    • 19:50 In contrast to that of Fenerbahce’s record against Italian teams, Lazio’s record against Turkish sides is quite impressive; they have lost just once in 8 encounters, winning six and drawing the other tie.
    • 19:45 Libor kozak starts up front for the visitors. The striker moved to the top of the Europa League's scoring list following a hat-trick against VfB Stuttgart in the round of 32 - moving above Napoli's Edinson Cavani. The Czech striker, who has eight goals in eight games from only five starts, will be looking to improve upon his tally this evening.
    • 19:40 The Italian side have opted for a 4-4-2 formation. Lorik Cana, who spent 2010/11 on loan with Fener’s fiercest rivals Galatasaray, starts at centre half. Midfielder Hernanes, who featured in all 10 games in the competition this season, is also in the side.
    • 19:35 The hosts line up in a 4-5-1 formation with Raul Meireles sitting deep which will allow for Dirk Kuyt, who played alongside the Portuguese midfielder for Liverpool, and Moussa Sow to get forward. Pierre Webo is the lone striker and will have to be at the top of his game if he is to trouble this stern Lazio defence.
    • 19:30 The teams are in: FENERBAHCE – Demirel, Korkmaz, Yobo, Ziegler, Gonul, Topal, Meireles, Cristian, Sow, Kuyt, Webo. SUBS: Gunok, Irtegun, Sahin, Topuz, Ucan, Erkin, Senturk /// LAZIO - Marchetti, Ciani, Lulic, Radu, Ederson, Hernanes, gonzales, Onazi, Cana, Candreva, Kozak. SUBS: Bizarri, Biava, Crecco, Mauri, Ledesma, Klose, Rozzi
    • 19:25 If Fener are able to secure that all-important victory tonight then they will become the first side to beat Lazio in this season’s Europa League. The Rome-based outfit have recorded eight wins and four draws from the play-offs onwards.
    • 19:20 Despite that, they have won their last two home fixtures against Italian sides without conceding, but have lost all of their six games away from home by margins of two goals or more. So the Turkish side will be looking to take the advantage in this first leg ahead of the clash in Rome next week.
    • 19:15 However, if they are to do so then they will have to overcome their very poor record against Italian teams. They have won just three times and lost the other 10 games in their 13 meetings with sides from Italy.
    • 19:10 There are a few firsts in this tie tonight: it is the first ever meeting between the two sides and Fenerbahce have a chance to progress to the semi-finals of a European competition for the first time in the club’s history.
    • 19:05 Good evening and welcome to LIVE coverage of the Europa League quarter-final first leg between Fenerbahce and Lazio from the Sükrü Saraçoglu stadium in Istanbul.
