    • FC Sankt Gallen
    • 90+4' The full-time whistle is blown. Wayne Routledge's goal cements Swansea's place at the top of Group A. Thanks for joining us tonight.
    • 90' We'll have four added minutes at the end of this second half.
    • 89' Tiendalli is dispossessed yet again and St Gallen go close. Janjatovic cuts inside from the left and nutmegs Amat before drilling the ball into the path of Keita. Chico lunges at the ball and makes the clearance from six yards.
    • 88' Laudrup’s men are really taking the pace out of the game now. They’re stroking the ball around looking to run down the clock.
    • 87' Swansea are down to ten men. Michu is changing into his sixth shirt of the night.
    • 86' Chico is fouled by Vitkieviez deep in the Swansea half. There’s nothing in the challenge, but the Swansea man takes offence and squares up to his opponent. Handbags!
    • 85' Chico pulls down Keita just outside the Swansea penalty area. The visitors crowd the box but Nater’s free kick drifts over everybody and flies out for a goal kick.
    • 84' Poor pass from Swansea that plays his side into danger. The youngster drops short to pick up the ball and then tries to force a pass into the path of Vazquez. It’s intercepted and St Gallen look to build an attack.
    • 83' Alejandro Pozuelo is replaced by JonJo Shelvey. A move to surely stabilise the Swansea midfield as the hosts look to see out these last few minutes.
    • 81' POST!! Substitute Nater strikes the ball from 30 yards and catches it beautifully, swerving through the air and beating Tremmel before crashing off the foot of the post.
    • 80' CHANCE! Dyer could put the game to bed. Pozuelo crossed from the left and finds his teammate eight yards from goal. Dyer’s volleyed effort is hit well but is cleared by the boot of the sprawling Lopar.
    • 79' The referee has got a few things wrong this evening and does so yet again. Dyer is brought down by Lenjani in what was a cynical challenge. Dyer then appeals for a free kick, of which he is given, but then is shoulder charged by the St Gallen man. The two get into a scuffle and are both booked.
    • 78' Lenjani’s free kick is good one but Tremmel is off his line in a flash to claim the ball and relieve his side of the pressure.
    • 77' Davies now gives away a free kick on the edge of his own box. He is adamant that he took the ball but goes into the book anyway. Testing times for the Swans.
    • 76' De Guzman gives away a needless free kick deep in his own half. The hosts will need to cut silly mistakes like that out if they’re to hold onto this lead.
    • 75' Superb defending from Martic. Dyer picks the ball up on the centre circle and bursts forward, attempting the play-in Vazquez, who would go through on goal. Martic spots the danger and is able to make a last-ditch challenge.
    • 74' Daniele Russo is introduced and replaces captain Montandon in a like-for-like swap.
    • 73' Michu looks to be having a bit more trouble with that head injury. There is a serious amount of blood pouring down the back of his neck and onto his shirt.
    • 72' CHANCE!! What an effort from Vazquez, who has been on the pitch a matter of seconds. He’s sent down the left and, with no teammates available, opts to go it alone. The Spaniard attempts to whip the ball into the far corner from the tightest of angles, missing by a matter of inches.
    • 70' Wilfried Bony is replaced by Alvaro Vazquez who makes just his third appearance for the Jacks.
    • 69' Tiendalli gives the ball away needlessly yet again as Janjatovic claims the ball. Michu is back defending and is able to dispossess the St Gallen midfielder.
    • 68' Laudrup will certainly be happier with his side’s display in this second half but St Gallen still look dangerous. Another goal would certainly make the Swansea boss feel more at ease.
    • 66' CHANCE! What an effort from Keita. And what a goal that would have been, too. Montandon clips a ball over the top into the path of Keita whose first touch is immaculate, flicking it over the head of Amat and leaving himself only the keeper to beat. The finish isn’t quite as good, though, as the lobbed effort lands on the roof of the net.
    • 65' Chico tries something spectacular from the corner, chesting the ball up on the edge of the penalty area before attempting an overhead kick. The Spaniard concedes a free kick for a high foot. The home fans are very appreciative, though…
    • 64' De Guzman’s free kick is whipped away from the goalkeeper towards the far post. Chico rises well but is beaten to the ball by Besle.
    • 63' Dyer’s straight into the action. He receives the ball to his feet with his back to goal and flicks the ball past Mutsch before being brought down. Promising position, this…
    • 62' St Gallen make their second change of the evening. Stephan Nater replaces Rodriguez.
    • 61' Goalscorer Wayne Routledge is replaced by Nathan Dyer as the Swans make their first change.
    • 60' Tiendalli finds some space down the left and is spotted by Bony. Taking one touch to set himself, the full-back whips a cross towards the back post but it is smartly headed away to safety.
    • 59' Bony shows his speed and strength to win a free kick in a dangerous position on the edge of the visitors’ box. The Ivorian is hurried and harried by Montandon but muscles his way past the St Gallen captain before being brought down.
    • 58' De Guzman has an effort on goal from distance. The Dutchman cuts inside from the left to send his fierce shot into the grateful hands of Lopar.
    • 57' Pozuelo dances past a number of challenges on the edge of the St Gallen penalty area before playing Michu through on goal. Struggling to get the ball out of his feet, Michu goes to ground under the challenge of Montandon. The crowd appeal for a penalty but it really was a super tackle.
    • 56' Rodriguez’s most recent corner is aimed towards the far post where Mathys is standing. He sends his header back across goal but there’s nobody to get on the end of it.
    • 55' The home fans are now in full voice, though the St Gallen crowd are still making themselves heard. Swansea are now playing the type of football they are accustomed to, much to the satisfaction of Laudrup on the touchline.
    • 53' GOAL!! Swansea score. Pozuelo receives a pass from Britton and travels 10 yards under no pressure. He spots the run of Bony in the penalty area and finds the Ivorian. With the angle getting narrower, Bony pulls the ball back across goal into the path of Routledge who taps home at the back post.
    • 52' Better from Tiendalli. He travels down the right wing and is put under pressure by Lenjani. The Swansea man uses his strength and pace to keep hold of the ball.
    • 51' Tiendalli is caught dwelling on the ball and is dispossessed. Janjatovic closes in on the Swansea goal but is tackled by Chico.
    • 50' Confirmation that Karanovic was replaced at half-time. The striker, who was clattered into by Tremmel, was suffering from concussion. As he went down the tunnel at the break, he asked members of the St Gallen staff which side they were playing and if he had missed a penalty… He has been replaced by Keita.
    • 49' It certainly seems like a better opening few minutes of this second half from the hosts. The tempo is much better already.
    • 48' Davies’ corner is overhit and is cleared at the far post. Britton concedes a free kick on the edge of the St Gallen penalty area trying to salvage something from the poor set-piece.
    • 47' Bony plays in Tiendalli down the right. The defender initially beats his man but wins a corner as Lenjani recovers well.
    • 46' The second half is under way.
    • 45+1' The half-time whistle blows. The visitors have certainly been a surprise package. Swansea have been poor and will need to improve vastly if they are to take all three points.
    • 45' We'll have one minute of added time at the end of this first half.
    • 44' Chance for Bony! The Ivorian receives the ball on the left of the St Gallen area and cuts inside to smash an effort just wide of the right-hand post from 18 yards.
    • 43' Pozuelo looks to break following the St Gallen corner and moves up the pitch with support from Bony. The Swansea striker makes a clever run but Pozuelo is on a different wavelength and plays the ball straight out for a goal kick.
    • 42' Rodriguez sends another inviting cross into the Swansea area. Jantanovic is waiting at the far post but is beaten to the ball by Chico.
    • 41' Britton gets down the right and centres for Bony. The Ivorian is unable to pull the trigger but finds Michu who looks to send an effort on goal from 10 yards. Mutsch throws his body in the way and makes the block.
    • 40' Bony and Michu link up well in the St Gallen half, lofting the ball to each other as they look to start an attack. Besle reads the danger and is able to intercept the ball, smashing it out for a throw-in.
    • 39' Routledge looks to squirm away from a number of challenges and appears to be fouled. The referee is having none of it, however, with the Swansea fans whistling and jeering. Routledge is finally brought down by Lenjani and the whistle is blown.
    • 38' Martic finds some space in behind his man down the right and is spotted by Mutsch. The defender, who celebrated his 21st birthday yesterday, tries his very best to keep the ball in play but it rolls out harmlessly for a goal kick.
    • 37' Michu wasn't actually booked there. The referee was apparently writing down that the Swansea man didn't have a name or number on his shirt.
    • 36' The hosts were down to ten men for eight-and-a-half minutes. No wonder why Michu was moaning to the referee’s official. He’s back on with a head full of Vaseline. Of course, other petroleum jelly products are available.
    • 35' Michu is finally allowed back onto the pitch but is without a name or number on his shirt. He’s also booked for his persistent protesting to the fourth official.
    • 33' Mathys has a decent effort on goal. Chico fails to deal with a long ball and it bobbles into the path of the St Gallen man who lashes a left-footed effort straight at Tremmel. The keeper looks to be equal to it but fails to grasp it on the first attempt.
    • 32' Another corner is sent into the Swansea area. They’re down to ten men at the moment while Michu begs the fourth official to let him back onto the pitch.
    • 31' Michu is still off the pitch and is having his head temporarily bandaged. There’s a lot of blood on the Spaniard’s face and chest. It appears they are struggling to stop the bleeding.
    • 30' The Swiss side are giving a good account of themselves tonight. They have, for the most part, been the better side. Swansea have been sloppy and have been forced into a number of mistakes.
    • 29' Solid keeping from Tremmel. Rodriguez whips a super ball into the box that has plenty of pace on it and dips at the last minute. Mathys challenges the Swansea custodian but Tremmel punches away.
    • 28' Michu certainly wasn't faking. He is covered in blood and is forced off the pitch to be stitched up.
    • 27' The home crowd are screaming for a penalty. Michu throws his head at the ball in the St Gallen penalty area and is caught by the boot of Besle. The Spaniard stays down but the referee waves play on.
    • 26' ANOTHER CHANCE FOR THE HOSTS!! Bony and Michu exchange a number of short, sharp passes as they move into the St Gallen penalty area. Bony fakes to shoot and plays in Pozuelo whose shot is expertly blocked by Montandon.
    • 25' SO CLOSE FOR SWANSEA. The dangerous free kick is met by Amat at the near post. His header looks to be nestling in at the far post but Lopar makes a great save, tipping it onto the post.
    • 24' Tiendalli, who has had to do a lot of defending so far, is able to get up the pitch and trades a one-two with Davies before being brought down. Free kick to Swansea in a dangerous area.
    • 23' That really was a heavy clash. Tremmel did nothing wrong but clattered his opponent. Karanovic is now moving and looks ok. Whether he’ll be able to continue is another matter, though…
    • 21' Rodriguez sends a St Gallen free kick into the penalty area. Karanovic has his eyes on the ball and looks to meet it but is clattered by Tremmel who punches clear. The St Gallen man looks in some trouble here.
    • 20' Rodriguez’s corner is flicked on by Montandon at the near post but Chico is able to clear. Bony looks to counter but is brought down on the centre circle.
    • 19' The visitors could, and probably should be two goals up. The hosts are surrendering possession far too easily. Laudrup will not be happy with his side’s performance so far.
    • 18' ST GALLEN SHOULD SCORE!! Mathys’ clever run is spotted by Janjatovic and goes through on goal. Tremmel races off his line but can do nothing as Mathys rolls the ball beyond the keeper and narrowly wide of the left-hand post.
    • 16' It was Tiendalli that conceded the penalty, raising his arm as Rodriguez crossed. It was a relatively soft penalty but Karanovic's effort was horrendous. He staggered his run up to the ball and tamely rolled it to the left of the keeper - Tremmel reading it well.
    • 15' TREMMEL SAVES KARANOVIC'S PENALTY!!
    • 14' PENALTY TO ST GALLEN!
    • 13' Rodriguez runs at Tiendalli and beats the Swansea man to create some space on the edge of the penalty area. His shot is wayward, though, and the ball flies out for a goal kick.
    • 12' Poor play from Karanovic. The striker receives the ball 30 yards from goal and controls it superbly. He has options both right and left but opts to send a first-time volley at goal that misses by a mile.
    • 11' Bony appears to get the better of Montandon and looks to be through on goal but the referee pulls the play back for a foul on the St Gallen captain.
    • 10' St Gallen earn their first corner of the game but Rodriguez's set-piece is hit poorly and is cleared away at the front post by de Guzman.
    • 9' Pozuelo’s clever ball over the top looks to have too much pace on it for Michu but the £2 million pound man shows his pace meet the ball and smash it into the side netting from a tight angle.
    • 8' Swansea have really settled now. The visitors’ high tempo start had the hosts on the back foot but the Premier League side’s quality is beginning to show.
    • 7' The home fans go wild as Besle’s touch allows Michu in. The St Gallen defender gets in a muddle but manages to get something on the ball and clear it. He catches the Spaniard, though, and would have been the last man should the referee have awarded a free kick. The home fans want to see a red card but the defender took all of the ball.
    • 6' The St Gallen fans are really making themselves heard. They’ve been in fine voice and are really urging their players on.
    • 5' De Guzman’s corner from the left bamboozles everybody at the near post and pops up to Michu on the edge of the six yard box. He’s not expecting it at all and can only head his effort over the bar.
    • 4' Clever play from Bony. The Swansea front man receives the ball on the edge of the penalty area and drops a shoulder to lose his man before teeing up Michu. The Spaniard hits his first-time effort hard and low but Lopar is equal to it.
    • 3' Lenjani bombs down the left wing and skips past Tiendalli to whip in a superb ball that fizzes across the face of the goal and out for a goal kick.
    • 2' High tempo start from the visitors. They’ve seen all of the ball in the opening two minutes and look confident going forward.
    • 1' The match is underway. The visitors kick off.
    • 20:00 West Ham fan Douglas Ronald Stone has been in touch on Twitter and thinks that Swansea will romp to victory tonight with Wilfried Bony scoring at least two goals. We'll find out if that is the case shortly. The players are currently in the tunnel, we're just minutes away from kick-off.
    • 19:55 How do you think the match will go tonight? Can Swansea continue their European fairytale and claim another win or will the Swiss underdogs cause an upset? Let me know either on the comments section at the bottom of the page or on Twitter @JoshuaHayward99
    • 19:50 Swansea have never faced a side from Switzerland in the club's history but their opponents have previously come up against a side from the UK. St Gallen faced Chelsea in the 2000/2001 UEFA Cup and, after losing 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, were able to overturn the deficit to eliminate the Blues.
    • 19:45 "They drew in Switzerland and were 1-0 down after 51 seconds in the second leg and were then outplayed for 20 minutes,” he continued. "But suddenly they went 3-1 up, so it shows they have a lot character, it will be a difficult game and a game where even if we're doing well we have to keep an eye on the spirit in their squad."
    • 19:40 Swansea manager Michael Laudrup will definitely fancy his side’s chances tonight, but will certainly not underestimate the Swiss outfit. He said: “I've seen their game against Kuban and against Spartak Moscow in the play-off (won 5-3 on aggregate). They don't have the big stars but they really work hard. They were underdogs against Spartak, a side who have played in the Champions League.”
    • 19:35 The Swans are without captain Ashley Williams who is suffering from an ankle ligament injury. Pablo Hernandez and Garry Monk are also absentees. Roland Lamah has recovered sufficiently from a toe injury to make the bench, though Angel Rangel misses out.
    • 19:30 The teams are in - SWANSEA: Tremmel, Tiendalli, Chico Flores, Amat, Davies, Britton, De Guzman, Michu, Routledge, Pozuelo. Bony...SUBS: Vorm, Taylor, Shelvey, Dyer, Lamah, Canas, Vazquez /// ST GALLEN: Lopar, Montandon, Karanovic, Besle, Vitkieviez, Mutsch, Martic, Mathys, Lenjani, Janjatovic, Rodriguez...SUBS: Nushi, Nater, Keita, Wuthrich, Herzog, Demiri, Russo
    • 19:25 Tonight’s opponents St Gallen also secured a solid victory on matchday one, defeating Kuban Krasnodar 2-0 to join the Swans atop the group.
    • 19:20 The hosts will go into this match high on confidence after their superb 3-0 win away to Valencia a fortnight ago. Wilfried Bony, Michu and Jonathan de Guzman were all on target that night, sending the Swans to the top of the group.
