    • 83' Nouha Dicko replaces Nick Powell up front for Wigan.

    • 81' Zulte are really trying to turn the screw now. They’ll believe that they can grab a late goal and are upping the tempo.
    • 80' Hazard isn’t particularly happy. He sets off on a jinking run but is stopped in his tracks by the referee.
    • 79' Great chance for Wigan to break but Powell’s touch is atrocious. McClean clips a great ball from left to right with Zulte short at the back. The former Crewe man’s touch lets him down, though, and Duplus is able to sweep up.
    • 78' With just over ten minutes to go, can either side grab a late winner?
    • 77' The 2,500 Wigan supporters are enjoying themselves and are making a lot of noise, even if their team aren’t giving them a lot to cheer about. Although they probably would have taken a point ahead of the match/
    • 75' Fortune gets the better of D’Haene, who appears to have misjudged a high ball, but the referee brings back play as the Wigan man had hold of the defender’s shirt.
    • 74' Caceres is instantly in the thick of the action as the substitute receives the ball on the edge of the Wigan penalty area and fires a wicked shot at goal. It’s hit well but Carson is placed well to make the save.
    • 73' The hosts make a change. Caceres replaces the lively Habibou.
    • 72' A smart passing move from Wigan. They look danger on the counter as McCann finds Fortune who turns well and tears in on goal. The former West Brom man cuts the Zulte defence in two, playing in Powell. The forward’s first touch is impressive but Malanda reads the danger and gets his body in front of Powell, ushering the ball back to the goalkeeper.
    • 71' D’Haene is currently off the pitch. The Zulte man appears to have been caught on the back of the heel by McCann’s studs.
    • 69' D'Haene clashes with McCann and the Zulte man goes down holding his ankle.
    • 68' The corner is cleared to Perch on the edge of the penalty area. The defender tries at goal with a well-struck left-footed shot but Bossut sees it early and is able to claim.
    • 67 Powell earns his side a corner following some strong hold-up play. The forward holds off two men before winning a set-piece.
    • 66' The visitors make a double substitution. Ben Watson replaces Jordi Gomez and Marc-Antoine Fortune comes on in place of Callum McManaman.
    • 65' Zulte go close again. Hazard’s corner from the right is met by the towering Duplus but the defender can only head wide from six yards.
    • 64' Great strike from De Fauw. Conte’s cross from the right is controlled by Hazard, who tees up the full-back on the volley. The Zulte captain’s shot is hit well but flies wide.
    • 63' McClean has an effort on goal from distance. The winger cuts in from the left and, with teammates opening up space, continues forward before dragging an effort wide of the target.
    • 61' It's been a much better opening 15 minutes for the hosts. They've seen the majority of the ball and are putting Wigan under some sustained pressure.
    • 60' ZULTE GO CLOSE!! Naessens bursts past Crainey and fires the ball across the six yard box. Carson attempts to beat it away but can’t quite get a hand to it. Fortunately for the keeper, the onrushing Habibou can’t quite make the ground.
    • 59' McClean pulls away from his man down the left and is sent through. He crosses well but it is dealt with well by Malanda under pressure from Gomez.
    • 58' Hazard, who has been excellent so far, goes into the book for pulling on Boyce’s shirt.
    • 57' Better from Gomez. The Spaniard again receives the ball and rolls his man to open up some space and feed Powell. Bossut is off his line in a flash to claim at Powell’s feet.
    • 56' Gomez finds some space deep in the Zulte half but his touch is shocking and his attempted pass is even worse. Frustrating for the visitors.
    • 55' Powell just hasn’t been at his best today. In fairness to the youngster he’s not had much to go off but the Man United loanee looks very lethargic on the ball.
    • 54' Hazard’s stray pass is met by Shotton and the defender travels forward, exchanging a one-two with Powell as Wigan look to go forward. Powell receives the ball once more but fails to beat his man and the hosts regain possession.
    • 53' CHANCE FOR SHOTTON! Powell’s corner is a decent one and is met but Shotton on his debut. The defender is being pulled back by his man but gets a toe on the ball. Unfortunately for the visitors the ball flies narrowly wide of the right post with the goalkeeper beaten.
    • 51' Nightmare for Carson. The hosts should be in front. Hazard whips a ball in from the right which should be claimed by Carson but the former England international is caught under the ball as Habibou nips in front of him. The striker can only head wide. Should have scored.
    • 50' Wigan finally get a sight of the ball and look to go forward with McManaman venturing down the left. With little in front of him he opts to come inside and feeds the ball to Gomez. The Spaniard’s pass to Shotton is a short one and the defender has to clear his lines.
    • 49' Hazard drops very deep and is trying to manufacture some space for his side to create a decent chance in front of goal. Wigan are disciplined at the back, though, and are dealing with this pressure well.
    • 48' Good possession from the home side at the start of the second half. They’ve not conceded possession as of yet and are passing the ball around patiently.
    • 47' Zulte will look to continue where they left off – exerting some real pressure on Wigan.
    • 46' The second half is underway. Habibou and Hazard kick it off for the hosts.
    • 45+1' The half-time whistle is blown. Wigan ride the Zulte storm and go into the break on level terms.
    • 45' GREAT SAVE FROM CARSON!! Hazard bursts down the right and swings a ball in that causes havoc in the Wigan penalty area. It rolls to the onrushing Skulason who fires a shot at goal that is smartly saved by the backtracking Carson.
    • 44' That was the first time McManaman has really gone at his man tonight and it paid off, He’’l surely look to do more of that in the second half.
    • 43' Boyce finds McManaman down the right with the Wigan man whipping a ball into the penalty area. None of his teammates gamble at the front post and the ball roll across the face of the goal and away from danger.
    • 42' Naessens goes into the book. Shotton breaks out of his own penalty area with the ball but the Zulte man comes flying in from behind him and sends him crashing to the floor.
    • 41' McCann clashes with Malanda as the two challenge for the ball. The Wigan man looks to have taken a stray elbow and goes down, but it was nothing more than that.
    • 40' Constant pressure on the visitors at the moment. They’ll need to ride the storm and will want to get into half time at least on level terms.
    • 39' Hazard has a decent chance to get the ball into the box from a set-piece but he opts to play it short with Conte. The Zulte winger overruns the ball Wigan send the ball up field.
    • 38' The hosts are enjoying their best spell of the game so far. They’re retaining possession well and have Wigan pinned back in their own half.
    • 36' CROSSBAR!! Hazard’s cross from the right is met by the head of McClean, but the Wigan man doesn’t make great contact with the ball as it loops up in the air and comes back off his own crossbar. That’s the closes Zulte have gone so far…
    • 35' Naessens’ cross from the right is cleared but only as far as Hazard who smacks a shot at goal, only for it to be cleared for a corner.
    • 34' The hosts look to build an attack. Patiently they work it from the back and go from right to left but Conte’s centre is a poor one and the ball is cleared.
    • 33' Habibou tries to gain an advantage by giving Shotton a nudge in the back as the two challenge for a high ball. The referee spots it, though, and has a quick word with Zulte man.
    • 32' McCann is put through on goal down the left but the flag goes up and the referee blows his whistle. Absolutely no reason to be offside there.
    • 31' First bit of magic from Hazard who carries the ball from his own half and skips past four Wigan challenges. The young Belgian tries to manufacture some space for a shot as he reaches the edge of the Wigan penalty are but his efforts are stifled.
    • 30' Great block from Skulason. Powell receives the ball with his back to goal in the Zulte box and rolls it into the path of McCann who sends a rocket of a strike on goal. The Zulte defender’s block sees Wigan gain another corner.
    • 29' Gomez finds some space in between the two Zulte centre-halves and is found by McClean. D’Haene spots the run, though, and clears the danger.
    • 28' Man United’s Powell hasn’t seen a great deal of the ball as of yet – apart from that speculative 30-yard effort – and will look to become more involved in the game as it wears on. He may need to drop a little deeper to do so, however.
    • 27' In the group's other game, Rubin Kazan have taken the lead against Maribor.
    • 26' Hazard’s corner is a poor one and fails to beat Perch at the front post. The ball is cleared and Wigan clear their lines.
    • 25' Habibou sets his sights from 30 yards on the volley. It’s a solid hit but Boyce sticks a leg out and sends the ball out for a corner.
    • 24' McCann is brought down in his own half and should be awarded a free kick but the referee waves play on.
    • 23' Zulte look to attack in numbers but Naessens loses possession deep in the Wigan half and the visitors will look to build an attack.
    • 22' McClean finds some space down the wing and should whip a cross in but, for some reason, checks his run and then attempts to find his man but De Fauw is there to make the interception.
    • 21' McClean goes into a challenge with De Fauw and leaves the full-back in a heap on the floor. The referee blows for a free kick but there was absolutely nothing in that. Great tackle. Poor decision.
    • 20' Zulte captain De Fauw gets forward and overlaps down the right. Hazard attempts to find him with a lofted pass but the ball skids out of play.
    • 19' Powell has an effort on goal from 25 yards but it’s not a great one. The Man United loanee gathers a loose ball and runs at goal but with nothing on opts to shoot and gets under the ball.
    • 18' We now have another yellow. Skulason brings down McClean on the left and doesn’t look to be going into the book initially, but he has a go at the referee and is subsequently shown the yellow.
    • 17' Not an ideal time to get booked for the former Burnley man who will now have over 75 minutes to play on a striker.
    • 16' We have the first booking of the day and it goes to Wigan's Chris McCann. It's a pretty poor challenge as he crashes into Habibou.
    • 15' The Latics look to counter attack with a number of Zulte player’s in the opposition half but Hazard tracks back and fouls Gomez.
    • 14' Wigan are having to deal with a bit of Zulte pressure now. The visitors enjoyed the better of the opening ten minutes but the hosts are growing into this game.
    • 13' Kums and Hazard exchange a one-two in the middle of the pitch before the former looks to find Habibou, but the pass is too firm and it runs through to Carson.
    • 12' Hazard’s corner is met by Malanda on the penalty spot but the defender can only head it high. Should have done better with that.
    • 11' Conte finds some space down the right and looks to cross but Crainey is on hand to clear the ball for a corner. First bit of danger for Wigan.
    • 10' Really good play from McManaman again. He wins the ball on the edge of the Zulte box and looks for McClean to make a run as he cuts open the home side's defence with a clever pass. His teammate isn't on the same wavelength, however, and the ball is cleared.
    • 9' First sight at goal for the hosts, but it's nothing of note. Malanda and Conte link well before the latter dragging a poor shot at goal that is easily dealt with by Carson.
    • 8' A chorus of “are you watching, Martinez” rings around the stadium in Brugges, with the visiting fans referring to previous manager who left for Everton.
    • 7' Great play from McManaman. The midfielder drops short and darts out to the left but, with no option on, opts to travel with the ball and rides a number of challenges on the wing before being brought down.
    • 6' It’s been a very impressive start for the visitors. They’re playing with a good tempo and have not allowed Zulte to settle.
    • 5' POST!! Wigan go close inside the first five minutes. McClean's corner is headed away but only as far as McCarthur on the edge of the penalty area. The midfield man takes one touch before lashing a right-footed effort at goal that beats the keeper and shaves the outside of the post.
    • 4' Powell overruns the ball and allows Duplus to clear up. The defender nocks the ball back to the goalkeeper but, for some reason, the keeper plays the ball straight out for a goal kick.
    • 3' Crainey gets in a bit of a mess at full-back and is unable to retain possession, instead punting the ball long to clear the danger.
    • 2' The visitors look to retain the ball right from the kick off with the Wigan fans in full voice.
    • 1' The referee blows the whistle to start the match. Wigan kick off.
    • 17:55 So, with just five minutes until kick-off, who do you think will win tonight? Will Zulte prove to good for their English opponents or can Wigan continue their fairytale cup success by claiming another scalp - this time in European competition? Let me know on the comments section at the bottom of the page or on Twitter - @JoshuaHayward99
    • 17:50 In comparison to the Latics, tonight’s home side have experience playing in Europe and have faced a side from their opponent’s country. Zulte Waregem took on Newcastle United in the 2006/07 UEFA Cup but lost both legs with Obafemi Martins featuring heavily.
    • 17:45 "I love good players and Zulte Waregem have a number of them. This is a very attack-minded side. Thorgan Hazard (younger brother of Chelsea’s Eden) is an outstanding young player - whether he has an older brother or not, on his own merits, he is a terrific player and one who will have a fantastic career. He is not alone - the striker Habib Habibou is a handful and the two wingers are also terrific players.”
    • 17:40 However, the Scot is fully aware just how tough the task will be tonight. He said: "We are under no illusions about how difficult the game will be, but we are going to look to be as attacking as we possibly can and make a real game of it."
    • 17:35 Coyle’s men haven’t had the best of starts to life in the Championship – currently sitting in 15th place with eight points after six games – but the former Bolton manager is hoping that the excitement of playing in the Europa League can spur his players on to a result.
    • 17:30 So, as you can see, it’s a new look Wigan side to the one that lifted the FA Cup. Following Wigan’s relegation from the Premier League, manager Roberto Martinez swiftly found the exit door – joining Everton – and so, too, did four of his players. Owen Coyle took over the reins and has subsequently acquired an entire team’s worth of new faces but will hope that his new players can emulate a performance similar to that of the one at Wembley in May.
    • 17:25 As expected Chelsea's on-loan midfielder Thorgan Hazard starts for the Belgians with Habib Habibou, who spent six months of last season on loan with Leeds United, starting up front.
    • 17:20 Wigan's Shaun Maloney has not traveled to Belgium with Owen Coyle opting to rest the Scotland international. Manchester United's on-loan midfielder Nick Powell starts for the Latics whilst Champions League winner Scott Carson remains in goal. Ben Watson, Wigan's man of the moment back in May, will start this match on the bench.
    • 17:15 The teams are in - ZULTE WAREGEM: Bossut, De Fauw, D'Haene, Malanda, Duplus, Skulason, Kums, Conte, Hazard, Naessens, Habibou...Subs: Bruzzese, Verboom, N'Diaye, Tarfi, Sylla, Caceres, Bongonda. /// WIGAN: Carson, Boyce, Shotton, Perch, Crainey, McArthur, McManaman, Gomez, McCann, McClean, Powell… Subs: Nicholls, Garcia, Buxton, Watson, Espinoza, Dicko, Fortune.
    • 17:10 Ben Watson famously scored the Latics’s winning goal against much-fancied City back in May and, despite Wigan’s relegation from the Premier League, they’re in the Europa League to mix it with the big boys.

    • 17:05 Championship side Wigan will play their first ever fixture in European competition after they qualified by beating Manchester City in last year’s FA Cup. In fact, the Lancarshire club are the only team in this year’s competition not to have played on the European stage.
