    • 90+3' What a match this has been. Blackpool have missed a penalty and hit bar and post but fully deserve to have been beaten.
    • 90+2' Phillips puts it over the bar! Everton are safely through!
    • 90+1' Penalty to Blackpool! Heitinga brings down Bednar!
    • 90' We will have four minutes of added time.
    • 89' A chance for Blackpool! Howard tips a curling effort from LuaLua off the outside of the post!
    • 88' Stracqualursi makes way as Apostolos Vellios comes on in his place.
    • 87' Everton really have been fantastic this afternoon.
    • 85' Now Gilks is down quickly to save from Coleman at the near post!
    • 84' And Barkley is straight into the action when hooking a volley wide of the post! Everton are finishing very strongly here.
    • 83' Talented midfielder Ross Barkley comes on for Gibson for Everton.
    • 83' Fellaini again! He somehow heads over the bar from six yards out when meeting an outstanding cross from the left from Drenthe.
    • 82' Baptiste with a bodycheck on Drenthe and that is a clear booking.
    • 81' How does that not go in?? Fellaini chests down 10 yards out and unleashes a firm low drive. However, it is somehow cleared off the line by Blackpool defender Harris!
    • 80' A dreadful effort from Dickoh flies out for a throw to Everton. Yep, a throw.
    • 79' Stracqualursi wastes a decent chance when spooning the ball high over the bar following Coleman's persistent run and clever cut-back.
    • 77' Baines delivers the resulting free kick and finds Stracqualursi at the far post. He sticks out a leg and forces Gilks into a smart save with an unconventional volley.
    • 76' Now Drenthe delays a pass to Baines before checking back and then attracting a poor challenge from Basham. He goes down in pain but clambers to his feet.
    • 75' Drenthe tangles with LuaLua but they exchange a handshake and get on with the game.
    • 74' Phillips is ruled offside when attempting to get on the end of a Bednar header. That was certainly a close call.
    • 72' Phillips fires one off target as Holloway's language gets rather fruity on the touchline. Time is running out for his side.
    • 71' A double change for Blackpool: Ince and Martinez replaced by Nouha Dicko and Lomana LuaLua.
    • 69' Drenthe attempts to skip away from his man but the ball runs away from him. The Dutchman has been fantastic all afternoon though.
    • 67' Phillips takes it and smacks his effort against the bar with Howard beaten!
    • 66' This could be a decent chance for Blackpool. Heitinga is penalised for a poor challenge on Bob Harris right on the edge of the box.
    • 64' Coleman flings in a deep cross and Neville is waiting at the back post. However, the ball never arrives as Blackpool head clear.
    • 62' Phillips calls Howard into action when saving a free kick but, again, the American was never in any trouble.
    • 60' From the following corner, Heitinga gets to the delivery and heads just off target. Everton back on top again.
    • 59' What a save! Fellaini plays the ball wide to Drenthe and from just outside the box the Dutchman unleashes a ferocious effort that Gilks does well to get a hand to.
    • 58' It is Gueye who is replaced but the young forward can be very pleased with his performance today. Coleman on in his place.
    • 57' Everton are readying Seamus Coleman on the sidelines. Presumably he will come on for either Gueye or Drenthe.
    • 56' Wayne Rooney is spotted in the crowd by the TV cameras. He remains a big Everton fan of course, even if the club's fans haven't forgiven him for leaving for Manchester United.
    • 55' Basham, though, does find space on the right and hammers a shot wide of the post.
    • 54' Everton haven't been any near as impressive as they were in the first half but Blackpool are still struggling to give Howard any problems and that will be a real concern for Holloway.
    • 52' Bednar puts in a teasing cross from the left but Neville does well to head clear for Everton.
    • 51' How do they not score?? Neville with a lovely ball over the top to find the run of Stracqualursi and the striker then crosses for Fellaini, who pulls the ball down eight yards from goal. However, Gibson is also arriving and the two team-mates tangle, with neither able to convert.
    • 50' Everton charge up the other end and while Baines finds a bit of space on the left he can't find Stracqualursi with his cross.
    • 49' Now Neville is penalised for fouling Thomas Ince 25 yards from goal. Ince likes the look of this and his curling effort is saved by Howard. Not a bad shot though.
    • 48' Drenthe gets away with a clear foul when pulling his man back. Bit of a messy start to the second half so far.
    • 47' A painful start to the second half for Bednar after he gets a kick from Tony Hibbert to his right knee. He is okay to play on though.
    • 46' KICK OFF!

    • 45+3' HALF TIME. A fantastic performance from Everton and they lead 2-0.
    • 45+3' Howard leaps to catch the third set piece but is fouled in the process and Everton have some respite with a free kick.
    • 45+2' Sylvestre takes the corner and tries to place the ball about a metre away from the corner flag when doing so. He is told to bring it back and then Blackpool win another corner, and another.
    • 45+1' Alex Baptiste receives a square pas 20 yards from goal and sees his effort deflected past the far post for a corner.
    • 45' We will have three added minutes.
    • 44' Fellaini wins a free kick 25 yards from goal and Drenthe takes it left-footed, curling his effort high and wide.
    • 44' Everton are playing with real panache in this first half and some of their football has been a joy to watch. It's not always you can say that about David Moyes's side.
    • 42' Now Stracqualursi and Fellaini both go close with headers as Everton finish the half very strongly indeed. They have overwhelmed their opponents from the Championship.
    • 41' From the corner, the ball rolls into the path of Gibson and his firm low effort is prevented from sneaking in.
    • 40' So close! Drenthe cuts the ball back to Fellaini and his goal-bound effort is blocked expertly by Cathcart. Gilks looked beaten.
    • 39' Leighton Baines delivers a low cross and Cathcart almost turns the ball into his own net when swinging wildly at it. A corner to Everton and Distin heads well over the bar.
    • 38' Replays show that Bednar had his arms firmly tucked behind his back. Never a penalty.
    • 37' Neville plays in Drenthe and the Dutchman cleverly lets the ball run across him before spinning and driving in a low cross. Everton appeal for a handball when Blackpool block the delivery but get nothing from the referee.
    • 35' Angel Martinez chips a ball over the top of the defence to Phillips but the veteran is caught offside as he attempts to get on the end of it.
    • 34' The pitchside mics are picking up Holloway nicely today. He is heard to bellow at his players to hit "the big man", presumably Bednar.
    • 32' Everton have bossed the midfield superbly so far today. Blackpool have had a couple of half chances but nothing more.
    • 30' Holloway, decked out in a big Fila jacket, looks like he has just wandered out of JD Sports. He has words of encouragement for his players from the touchlines.
    • 29' Blackpool go short from a corner and when the ball is played out to Craig Cathcart he drives a shot yards off target. He is a centre-back, though, so what do you expect?
    • 27' Lovely stuff from Everton. An intricate passing move culminates when a cross from Gueye from the left is only just out of the reach of Stracqualursi as he slides in at the back post.
    • 26' Oh dear, Darron Gibson. Drenthe embarks on a brilliant run from his own half and plays a perfect pass in for Gueye. However, Gibson nips in ahead of the forward and hammers a shot well wide.
    • 24' Blackpool threaten again. Bob Harris gets into an advanced position on the left and Johnny Heitinga sticks out a leg to his cross. Deflecting it up and into the arms of Howard.
    • 23' The change comes as Taylor-Fletcher is replaced by Roman Bednar.
    • 22' Danny Wilson clatters into Stracqualursi to concede a free kick.
    • 21' Taylor-Fletcher hobbles to the side of the pitch for more treatment and Blackpool will have to make a decision about his condition soon.
    • 20' Both players require treatment and Taylor-Fletcher is still down nursing his knee.
    • 19' Chance for Blackpool! Ludovic Sylvestre plays a lovely through-ball in for Taylor-Fletcher, who sees his low effort saved by Tim Howard as both players collide on the floor.
    • 18' Drenthe has looked very lively so far this afternoon. He is snapping into tackles and getting involved at every opportunity. Clearly a big fan of the FA Cup.
    • 16' Nice determined work from Gueye as he holds off a couple of markers before playing the ball wide, but Everton cannot carve out a chance as a result.
    • 15' Phillips it is who takes the free kick but he rifles his effort into the wall.
    • 14' And now Phillips draws a foul from Phil Neville and Blackpool have a free kick in a central position 20 yards from goal.
    • 13' Chance for Blackpool. The ball is spread wide to Gary Taylor-Fletcher and he pings in a low cross that Kevin Phillips only just fails to connect with.
    • 11' Distin looks down the line to find Gueye with a long pass but as the forward controls he is ruled offside.
    • 10' Drenthe is penalised for battling rather too enthusiastically to rob Angel Martinez of the ball in midfield.
    • 9' Everton aren't exactly renowned for their potency in front of goal so this is a quite remarkable start by their standards. Stracqualursi now has three goals in five games.
    • 7' GOAL! Everton 2-0 Blackpool! Stracqualursi turns the ball home from close range after a corner from Drenthe is flicked on by Sylvain Distin. The striker missed with his first swing at the ball but tucked it home at the second attempt.
    • 6' Drenthe threatens to break clear on the right wing but is brought to ground by a good challenge from left-back Bob Harris.
    • 5' Everton threaten again as Denis Stracqualursi dinks a square ball to Fellaini in the box, only for Blackpool to clear. Everton have started fantastically well.
    • 4' Ian Holloway looks rather unimpressed in a hat and scarf on the touchlines. All that work during the week and his side concede inside a minute. How annoying.
    • 3' Well that's not a bad way to start the afternoon, is it? Blackpool already up against it against the Premier League side.
    • 1' GOAL! Everton 1-0 Blackpool! What a start! Everton ahead after 49 seconds. Magaye Gueye turns in a cross from the left, Marouane Fellaini takes a touch and lays the ball wide to Royston Drenthe, who dispatches a beautiful first-time shot curling past Matt Gilks.
    • 1' KICK OFF!
    • 15.00 The teams come out of the tunnel at a sun-kissed Goodison Park. Will we have a possible shock on our hands? I think there is a decent chance.
    • 14.58 Everton have won the cup on five occasions, most recently when defeating Manchester United in 1995, Blackpool just once - the Matthews Final of 1953.
    • 14.55 Everton are undefeated in six, including a 2-0 win at Chelsea at the weekend, and overcame Tamworth and Fulham to get to this stage. Blackpool, fifth in the Championship, have not lost in 10 and have seen off Sheffield Wednesday and Fleetwood.

    • 14:45 Ian Holloway: "I didn't think I handled (relegation) that well. I don't think there were many times I have felt sorry for myself in my life, but I did after relegation. I had a bit of sulk on for a while and I never even had that when my daughters were diagnosed with being deaf. I didn't have time to - I just had to get on with it. I am out of that now and looking forward to the challenge."
    • 14:40 David Moyes: "I don't think we've missed (Coleman) since Landon's been here and, if we're being fair to the boy, I don't think Seamus's form was great going into it. He's had an injury, it's up to him now to show us and get back to the form that he was in, say, a year ago."
    • 14:35 Blackpool are without Matt Phillips (hamstring), with Nouha Dicko strangely on the bench after scoring in Phillips's absence. Thomas Ince plays instead.
    • 14:30 Landon Donovan misses out on a Goodison Park swansong due to flu - he returns to LA next week. Seamus Coleman returns to the bench after injury but Phil Jagielka (knee), Leon Osman (foot), Nikica Jelavic (groin) and Jack Rodwell (hamstring) are out.
    • 14:25 Referee: Michael Oliver (Northumberland)
    • 14:20 TEAMS - Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Heitinga, Distin, Neville, Gibson, Fellaini, Drenthe, Stracqualursi, Gueye; Subs: Hahnemann, Barkley, Vellios, Silva, Forshaw, Baxter, Coleman /// Blackpool: Gilks, Harris, Wilson, Cathcart, Baptiste, Angel, Basham, Sylvestre, Ince, Taylor-Fletcher, K Phillips; Subs: Halstead, Southern, Eardley, Evatt, Dicko, Bednar, Lua-Lua
    • 14:15 Chance of an upset? Not much according to the bookies: Everton 8/15, Blackpool 13/2, Draw 10/3
