    • 72' Great tackle by Croft stops Mirallas in his tracks. He's worked as hard as anyone tonight.
    • 71' Offside against Simpson as an Oldham attack comes to nothing.
    • 70' Elsewhere tonight, Real Madrid are winning 1-0 at the Camp Nou.
    • 69' Smith clutching his shoulder after being pole-axed by Distin.
    • 68' You have to wonder why Smith didn't get the call from the start. He's an imposing figure.
    • 66' Chance to catch breath after a lung-bursting couple of minutes. Oldham fans still in good voice after seeing their team get a goal at Goodison.
    • 65' And another chance but this time Coleman crashes well wide.
    • 64' GOAL! Instant reply from Oldham and it's the big man. A corner is dropped right into the middle of the six yard box and Smith does the rest with the simplest of headers.
    • 62' GOAL! Osman makes it 3-0 and breaks Oldham hearts. Pienaar teases a cross in from the left and Osman flicks it on at the near post with Jelavic going within a whisker of adding the final touch.
    • 60' Matt Smith has scored three goals in his last two FA Cup appearances for Oldham, with those goals coming against Liverpool and Everton. A big man for the big occasion?

    • 58' Oldham turning up the heat now. We've finally got a cup tie on our hands.

    • 55' Here come the changes.
    • 54' Oldham supporters looking towards the bench where Matt Smith, who earned this replay for with a dramatic injury-time header in the original tie at Boundary Park, is sitting.
    • 53' Coleman puts in another fine ball to the near post where Osman arrives to steer an attempt towards goal that is easy for Bouzanis.
    • 52' Mirallas' cross causes a mix-up in the area, allowing Jagielka to swing a wild boot at it. Well over the top. A good chance to have put the tie to bed.
    • 51' A low key start to the second period. Everton well and truly in the comfort zone while Oldham are trying desperately to build some momentum. However, its' a corner to EFC.
    • 50' Historically Everton are going to edge in front in this meeting. Prior to kick off they were tied at 14 wins apiece from 41 league and cup encounters spread over 105 years.
    • 49' Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is in the crowd. He's keeping tabs on the side the PL Latics will face in the quarter-finals.
    • 48' No matter what happens Oldham can be proud of what they have done on this cup run. They are actually appearing in the fifth round for the first time since reaching the semi-finals in 1994.
    • 47' The Toffees are on course for it but prior to tonight they were without a victory this month. They are chasing a first triumph in five league and cup outings.
    • 46' The game restarts.
    • 45+1' HT: Everton 2-0 Oldham. Mirallas and Baines penalty. Baxter hit the post for Oldham.
    • 45' One minute to be added. Osman looks to make it three on the counter attack but he's blocked out.
    • 44' 2-0 on the scoresheet. But the Boundary Park club are two places above the League One relegation zone and 57 rungs lower than the Toffees on the league ladder.
    • 43' Howard comes a long way to claim Baxter's centre and wins a free-kick after a foul from James Tarkwoski.
    • 42' The Oldham fans urging their team forward. A goal before half-time would give them real hope. And it's another free-kick on the far right...
    • 41' Free-kick to Oldham. Baxter to deliver... it's another poor kick. Aside from his shot off the post it hasn't been a great return thus far for the ex-Everton man.
    • 39' Seamus Coleman surges down the right and sends in an inviting cross that Jelavic can only head over the top from 10 yards out. Fine move by the hosts.
    • 38' Everton's last win over Oldham in the cup came in 1912!
    • 37' Corner to Oldham. It's sent right under the crossbar and Howard does well to punch away under heavy pressure.

    • 34' GOAL! 2-0. Baines smashes in via the hand of Bouzanis to double EFC's lead after a handball by Connor Brown.
    • 32' Penalty to EVERTON! Looked like a handball.
    • 31' Reason for Oldham fans to be optimistic? Everton have only won three of their last seven home games in the FA Cup, drawing two and losing two.
    • 30' It's been one-way traffic so far but at Boundary Park Oldham actually had more shots than the PL side. 5-4 in Oldham's favour.
    • 29' Osman meets the resulting corner but sees his header deflect over the top.
    • 28' Baines lines one up from 30 yards... great save from Dean Bouzanis at his near post.
    • 26' Leon Osman jinks down the left and crosses for Jelavic but the striker is crowded out just as he was about the let fly from eight yards.
    • 25' Oldham's threat is coming from set pieces and long throws. Everton coping comfortably at present though.
    • 23' STAT ALERT: Joe Royle was at the helm when the Toffees last won the cup (for the fifth) in 1995.
    • 22' Jelavic and Mirallas combine with the Belgian fiizing in a cross-shot that is somehow deflected to safety.
    • 21' Oldham launch another long free-kick over 50 yards but it drifts harmlessly out for a goal kick. They are going to have to do better with their delivery if they are to get back into this tie.
    • 19' Pienaar down the left... poor cross and Oldham have a chance for a breather.
    • 17' Baxter takes advantage of a mix-up by the Blues defence and curls a superb 25-yard effort beyond Howard - but it smashes against the post! Almost an instant reply from Oldham.
    • 15' GOAL! Everton take the lead. Kevin Mirallas arrives on cue to side foot home Darron Gibson's delightful right wing cross.

    • 13' Jose Baxter launches a ball into the area but Howard si there to gather with ease.
    • 12' Oldham’s last two away wins against top-flight sides in the FA Cup have both come at Goodison Park, although the victory prior to that 2008 win came way back in March 1913.
    • 10' Prior to kick off, Oldham’s caretaker manager, Tony Philliskirk paid tribute to his Goodison Park counterpart and revealed that he anticipates Everton will name a strong line-up. He said: "I spoke to David (Moyes) for 15 minutes before the game and he'd personally come to our game against MK Dons. He'd watched the DVDs of every round we'd played in previously so I think he'd done his homework. And he got what he thought he was going to get, which was a very tough game."
    • 9' Steven Pienaar looking to pull the strings for the hosts but the Oldham players are up for this. Some tigerish challenges in what can be described as a very accomplished start from the League One outfit.
    • 8' Elsewhere in cup competitions tonight, there's a rather tasty clash between Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Copa Del Rey semi-final second leg at the Camp Nou. Check out our live matchcast. FC Barcelona v Real Madrid | Live | Score | Copa del Rey 2012-2013 - Yahoo Eurosport UK
    • 7' Having defeated Liverpool in the fourth round, Oldham are the first team to face both Merseyside giants in successive FA Cup ties since Tottenham Hotspur in 1995.
    • 6' Oldham looking lively here as Everton look to assert some pressure.
    • 5' Oldham, meanwhile, have only made the sixth round twice before (1990 and 1994); on both of those occasions they were ultimately eliminated by Manchester United in the semi-finals.
