SHEFFIELD UNITED: Howard, Harris, Brayford, Maguire, Flynn, Doyle, Baxter, Collins, Coady, Scougall, Murphy...Subs: Hill, Porter, Miller, McGinn, Davies, Long, Freeman /// CHARLTON: Hamer, Wilson, Wiggins, Morrison, Wood, Cousins, Poyet, Jackson, Harriott, Tudgay, Church... Addicks boss Chris Powell said this season they have turned around the “standing joke” that they do poorly in the cups. "It's a competition I always feel is one we traditionally don't do well in. It's a bit of a standing joke, Charlton and the cups, but we have turned that around somewhat, which is pleasing. Of course we still have a big game to negotiate but I'm determined to get us to the new Wembley as we haven't been there yet.”
11:17
The players to look out for are United’s Chris Porter who has scored four goals in the FA Cup this season and the Addicks’ Simon Church who has bagged the winner in the last two Cup games.
11:12
But the stats would suggest the Blades are the favourites. They have beaten Charlton in the three previous FA Cup ties between the two sides and have seen off Aston Villa and Fulham in this season’s competition.
11:06
Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough has dismissed claims that his sides are the favourites. "I would disagree that we are favourites, when you are playing a team from the division above then that takes precedent as to who are favourites or not. I know we are at home and have won a lot of games but I still think their Championship status makes them favourites.”
