    • Wales
    • Luxembourg
    • 90+2 And that's full time! A very good performance in the second half from Wales. They absolutely dominated and win 5-1. A richly deserved scoreline ahead of their European Qualification campaign next month.
    • 90' Two minutes of stoppage time. Luxembourg win a late corner, but it comes to nothing.
    • 87' Wales have looked excellent coming forward this second half and have played some lovely flowing stuff.
    • 86' Luxembourg sub: Bernard replaces Bettmer.
    • 85' Wales sub: Eardley replaces Williams
    • 84' And that really should have been six! A lovely move down the right and then the ball is just rolled back to the edge of the area where the on rushing Ledley, who has had an excellent second half, blazes his shot wide! Should have scored!
    • 82' And that's FIVE FOR WALES! A well deserved goal for Craig Bellamy. He again races clear down the left, but this time has the chance to shoot, and just rolls the ball past the keeper into the bottom right hand corner!
    • 81' Wales sub: Crofts replaces Cotterill
    • 78' And that's a fourth for Wales! Williams heads into an empty net after more good work from Bellamy. Bellamy's cross is headed back across the face by Morison, and Williams gets on the end of it. Very well worked corner, they've been trying to do that all game!
    • 76' Myhill clears the ball quickly and Cotterill beats two men before being brought down by Mutsch. The referee walks over slowly, and the crowd chant "Off! Off! Off!" and he's gone! Luxembourg down to 10-men.
    • 75' Luxembourg win a free kick on the right hand touchline but the delivery is easily claimed by Myhill.
    • 73' Janisch is booked and Wales have free kick on the right hand side. Ledley's delivery is straight down the keepers throat though.
    • 70' Bellamy's pace is far too much for the Luxembourg defence. He races away down the left and leaves two defenders trailing in his wake, but he can't quite beat the first man with his pull back, and his second attempt at a cross sees Morrison pushed away while waiting for the cross at the far post! Could easily have been a penalty.
    • 69' Luxembourg sub: Da Mota is replaced by the 18-year-old Laterza. Da Mota was lucky to still be on the pitch after a few overzealous challenges on Bellamy.
    • 68' Bellamy races clear down the left, can't quite cross the ball in first time, so gets the ball and dribbles in a circle around Da Mota before trying to find a red shirt with his pull back. Luxembourg manage to clear. Bellamy is enjoying himself tonight.
    • 65' Mutsch was penalised for conceding that free kick after dragging back Cotterill.
    • 64' Ashley Williams flashes a header just wide after Ledley drills a free kick in from the right! Very close!
    • 63' Bellamy tries to win the ball back after the free kick comes to nothing, but handles the ball and is penalised for it.
    • 62' Wales are looking for more now as Ricketts runs with the ball down the right, but wins a free kick after being bundled over.
    • 61' Some lovely interplay between Ledley and Bellamy down the left. The move eventually comes to nothing, but Wales are getting a lot of joy down their left hand side.
    • 60' Luxembourg sub: Pedro comes on for Gerson.
    • 59' Luxembourg win a free kick on the left, but nothing comes off the delivery which Myhill claims easily.
    • 56' Bellamy almost picks out Morison's run behind the Luxembourg defence with a lovely pass, but it is just cut out. This is much more like it from Wales.
    • 55' Bellamy's corner is headed home by Andy King! The keeper came all the way out but had no chance of claiming that and King was left with the simple task of directing his header into the back of the net. A much better performance in this second half from Wales. 3-1
    • 54' Joe Ledley shows a great touch to win a corner down the left, after a nice ball from Bellamy.
    • 52' Ledley with the delivery, and Morgan again gets up well! His header just drifts wide with the 'keeper stranded. That hit the stanchion behind the goal and the (small) crowd thought it was in!
    • 51' Bellamy aims the free kick at the far post and Morgan is there, but under pressure can't keep his header down. The referee awards a corner though.
    • 50' Bellamy is the best player on the pitch by some distance. He's very dangerous cutting inside from the left. Here he wins a free kick after Da Mota clumsily brings him down. He'll have to be careful, as he's already on a booking.
    • 49' Incidentally, Da Mota was booked for the challenge which led to the penalty.
    • 48' Wales have come out with real purpose here. They're playing far more direct, and look threatening whenever they press forward.
    • 47' A very calm penalty there from Joe Ledley! He just rolls the ball into the bottom right and sends the 'keeper the wrong way. Wales take the lead 2-1.
    • 46' Craig Bellamy wins a penalty! He receives the ball wide on the left, cuts inside, beats one man but is brought down by Da Mota, and the referee immediately points to the spot!
    • 45' And we're off again, with Luxembourg kicking long from the goal kick and Wales easily taking control of the ball.
    • 45' Subs for Wales: Hennessey off and Myhill on. King replaces Stock and Crofts replaces Earnshaw.
    • 45+1 And that's half time here! Wales took a lead, but have looked shaky in defence, particularly at right back, and 1-1 is probably fair on the balance of play so far.
    • 45' Wales look to take back the lead straight away, Bellamy cuts inside from the left, beats one man then goes down in the penalty area under challenge from two players! Claims for a penalty are waved away by the referee.
    • 44' Luxembourg equalise with a brilliant breakaway! Bettmer breaks through the middle, and finds Kitenge, and just as the chance looks like it's gone as Kitenge hesitates on the edge of the area, he lashes a left foot shot which takes a deflection and flies in off the crossbar! 1-1!
    • 42' Again, Luxembourg cut Wales open down the left. Ricketts is out of position time and time again at right back. This time Mutsch gets to the byline, and with men waiting fails to pick out anyone with his cross.
    • 40' Bettmer breaks down the other end, feints past one challenge and cuts inside onto his right foot. The 21-year-old fires over, but he's looked bright for the visitors.
    • 39' Wales win another corner. They're playing much better now and are trying to be very direct. Bellamy whips the corner towards the far post, again finding Morison who again heads the ball back across the face of goal. Morgan gets on the end of it, but his shot is wide of the goal.
    • 37' Twice in succession Morison almost immediately finds himself clean through behind the Luxembourg defence! The first time he closed down Janisch well, and won the ball, only to stumble just as he was about to burst clear, then, as Luxembourg try to pass the ball clear the ball deflects into his path, but he's flagged narrowly offside!
    • 35' Lovely movement from Earnshaw, he moves into the channels and is picked out well by Ledley. Earnshaw breaks into the box, looks up and picks out Cotterill at the far post who slots home into the bottom right! 1-0 Wales!
    • 32' Better now from the hosts. Ledley receives the ball from Bellamy and has time to shoot. His long range effort takes a deflection and flashes just wide though.
    • 31' The ball finds its way to Ricketts on the right and he floats a cross into the far post which finds Bellamy unmarked, but he mistimes his shot and misses the ball and Luxembourg clear.
    • 30' The ball breaks to Cotterill in the area after good work from Williams. He can't quite control it though and his chance is gone.
    • 29' Morgan tackles Kitenge and the ball goes for a throw in. It's launched into the box, and bounces dangerously inside the six-yard box, but no one is there and Wales can get the ball clear.
    • 28' Williams, like so many of his teammates, fails to pass the ball a few yards. It's Luxembourg who are the batter side here.
    • 27' Wales have been very disappointing so far. They don't really have many options on the bench either - of the six subs named two are goalkeepers.
    • 25' Janisch gets to the byline down the left and pulls the ball back to Kitenge, but Stock beats him to it and clears the ball. The ball comes back to Mutsch who shoots from 25-yards, but on his weaker left foot he blazes over.
    • 23' Bettmer goes down again in the penalty area. This time after trying to close down a back pass from Stock. It looks like Stock put his arm across Bettmer as he ran past there. I've seen penalty's given for worse!
    • 22' Joubert is okay to continue though after receiving treatment for a cut on his eyebrow.
    • 21' There's a stoppage in play as Joubert stays down after claiming that ball from Morison's header. He's receiving attention from the physio as Oberweis, Luxembourg's reserve 'keeper warms up.
    • 19' The cross is whipped in from the left and finds debutant Morison at the far post. He gets his head to the ball and directs it back across the face of the goal but Joubert is out smartly and claims well.
    • 18' Wales win a corner
    • 16' Ashley Williams receives a yellow card for bringing down Bettmer who had claims for a penalty turned down a few minutes ago. That's a pretty harsh decision, there wasn't much contact.
    • 14' Wales have struggled to break through Luxembourg's midfield who are playing very deep just in front of their defence, but they do slightly better here and Earnshaw releases Bellamy down the left but his cross is blocked at the near post.
    • 12' Ledley heads away a deflected cross in and Luxembourg claim a penalty as a player goes down under pressure from Williams. The referee waves away the protests, and play goes on.
    • 10' Earnshaw is caught offside as Wales again look to play him in behind the defence.
    • 8' This could potentially be captain Craig Bellamy's last ever game of football tonight as he's threatened to quit football if he fails to make Manchester City's 25-man squad for the Premier League. I somehow doubt he'll retire, I'm sure West Ham or Spurs will be in for him.
    • 7' Ricketts finds space to cross from the right but can only stand the ball up to the near post where the goalkeeper collects easily.
    • 5' The capacity here is 14,000 but there's nowhere near that many in attendance tonight.
    • 3' Luxembourg fashion the first shooting opportunity but it's blocked and falls to Kitenge who then drills in a cross from the left of the penalty area, but the resulting shot is off target.
    • 2' An end to end start here as Wales push forward in numbers before losing the ball in the final third. Luxembourg look to break quickly down the left but there's no support for the left winger and Wales win the ball back comfortably.
    • 1' And we're off! Wales get the game underway and immediately play the ball long for Earnshaw to chase, but it's easy for the 'keeper to collect.
    • 19:45 The teams are out on the pitch now and the anthems are underway. We'll be kicking off shortly.
    • 19:40 Robert Earnshaw tonight wins his 50th cap for Wales, I'm sure he would love to add to his tally of 14 goals tonight against one of Europe's lesser known sides.
    • 19:35 Wales have beaten Luxembourg in all five of their previous matches and will be looking to continue that record tonight as they prepare for the start of their qualification campaign for Euro 2010 which gets underway in just over a months time.
    • 19:30 The referee tonight, in case you were wondering, is Mattias Gestranius from Finland
    • 19:25 LUXEMBOURG TEAM - Joubert, Mutsch, Janisch, Kintziger, Hoffmann, Schnell, Peters, Krogh Gerson, Bettmer, Da Mota Alves, Kitenge Subs: Oberweis, Collette, Bernard, Blaise, Laterza, Pedro, Bensi
    • 19:05 Millwall striker Steve Morison wins his first cap and starts in a front three alongside captain Craig Bellamy and Rob Earnshaw
    • 19:00 The now lengthy list of withdrawals from John Toshack's squad is as follows: Gareth Bale, Darcy Blake, Dave Edwards, Simon Church, Ched Evans, Sam Vokes (injury) and Simon Davies (retired).
    • 18:55 Defenders Gareth Barry and Darcy Blake were late withdrawals from the squad after both players picked up slight knocks in training. Both have now been left out as a precaution.
    • 18:50 WALES TEAM: Hennessey, Rickets, Gunter, Stock, Morgan, Ashley Williams, Ledley, Bellamy (c), Morison, Earnshaw, Cotterill - Subs: Myhill, Earldey, Crofts, King, Vaughan, Jason Brown
