    • FT There is the final whistle. City were all over Club America in the first half but the Mexicans hit back in the second as substitutions and an overhaul of their side disrupted the Premier League side
    • 90' Ooooh! Weiss hits the post with a cracking shot after a run from Toure. That was closest City had come to getting a third but that should be the last real chance of the match
    • 88' Club America will be ruing their chances at the end of this clash as Taylor fails to collect a fairly tame cross. But the Mexican side againt can't take advantage and Taylor does enough to clear in the end
    • 86' Another chance goes begging for Club America as Raul Jimenez's off-target bicycle kick falls for Daniel Marquez, whose shot only just races over the cross-bar
    • 83' Kolarov slams a free-kick straight into the wall, the ball falling nicely for Toure, who is denied by another fine save by Gonzalez
    • 80' A crowd of just 11,250 is announced for this clash, which fits with the rows and rows of empty seats on view!
    • 72' Johnson and Toure very nearly combine for a third goal but Gonzalez is again the hero for Club America as he clears the ball upfield
    • 71' Frantic stuff now as Johnson is denied by Hugo Gonzalez, as the America substitute keeper charges out to turn the ball away for a corner
    • 70' Issac Acuna, who has just come on for Daniel Montenegro, comes close to pulling one back for America in the middle of a goal-mouth scramble but somehow City clear the ball
    • 68' Milner is beginning to make his mark as his shot is deflected for a corner ... City pushing for a third goal now to put an end to America's resurgence. But the can't find the back of the net and America escape
    • 66' Club America charge down the right wing before Taylor comfortably collects the cross and clears to set his side off on the counter-attack
    • 59' Johnson looks for the cheeky goal as he attempts to chip the ball over the Club America keepers head, after receiving the ball from Milner, but the shot drifts wide and it remains 2-0
    • 53' America have made a very bright start to this half as Vuoso almost pulls one back for the Mexican side, after recieving the ball from Daniel Marquez, only to pull his angled shot wide
    • 50' Club America, by the way, have also made changes (albeit not quite the whole team) but because they didn't announce either their starting line-up nor their subs prior to the match it's a little more tricky to get to grips with their team!
    • 49' Taylor is called into action very early on as he is forced to save a header from point blank range. He does well though and turns the ball away
    • 46' The second half is underway ...
    • - As expected City are completely changed and now line-up like this: Taylor, Richards, Kompany, Boyata, Kolarov, Weiss, Milner, Yaya, A. Johnson, Mancini, Guidetti
    • - The teams are back out for the second half with a whole host of changes having been made for City. The teams are allow 11 subs remember so this is pretty much a new-look team that comes out for the remainder of the match
    • HT There's the half-time whistle and it's comfortably 2-0 to City at the interval with Dzeko being the stand-out performer for the Premier League side although Club America are beginning to show signs of working their way into the match
    • 43' Dzeko brings George Corral down from behind and receives a yellow card for his trouble
    • 40' Club America are finally beginning to work their way into this match, with City desperately scrambling to block a couple of shots before Montenegro goes down in the area. The referee waves play on, however, and City clear
    • 37' Dzeko is brought down just outside the box and Weiss will have a shot from this. But the Slovak midfielder slams the ball into the wall
    • 35' Montenegro, the only real threat so far for Club America, is forced to shoot from distance as his side fail to break down the City defence once again. And his shot fizzes over the bar
    • 31' Clichy and McGivern combine well in midfield but fail to make much progress forward, seemingly content to just keep possession for the time-being. It's been a good half so far for City, who have rarely looked threatened
    • 27' GOAL CITY! 2-0! Dzeko has looked threatening right from the start and finds Wright-Phillips from the edge of the area, the diminutive midfielder slamming the ball home from 20 yards out
    • 25' Club America finally make some inroads in to what has looked like a strong City defence so far, forcing a corner. But they are unable to do anything with it and Hart collects the ball without too much trouble
    • 23' New-signing Clichy has looked good so far for City and finds Wright-Phillips, only for SWP to fail to do anything much with his returned pass
    • 20' Dzeko is flagged just offside as City continue to dominate in midfield. A shame for City as that was an inch-perfect pass from Weiss to set the Bosnian away
    • 17' GOAL CITY! 1-0! City take the lead with Ryan McGivern the scorer, tucking the ball neatly past the Club America keeper. Dzeko finds Wright-Phillips, who loses the ball but the clearance falls to McGivern, who slots it inside the far post
    • 13' Club America make their first move of the match but it's an easy job for Hart to collect a shot right at him from Montenegro and the move breaks down for the Mexican side
    • 12' Dzeko again as he works his way into the box and gets round the keeper only to send his scuffed shot trickling across the front of the goal from an admittedly tricky angle. There was absolutely no-one there in support for City, otherwise that would have been a certain goal
    • 5' City have settled into this clash now as Wright-Phillips finds Dzeko although the move breaks down when Navarrete crowds Dzeko and prevents him from getting a shot off
    • 3' Barry almost finds Shaun Wright-Phillips but the pass goes astray and it's a bit of a scrappy start from both teams so far
    • 1' The match is underway ...
    • - City are lining up in their new red and black away kit for the clash, Club America are in blue
    • - City have announced a strong team for the clash, their first of the pre-season: Hart, Lescott, Clichy, McGivern, Savic, Veseli, Wright-Phillips, Weiss, Barry, De Jong, Dzeko
    • - Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage from Manchester City's pre-season friendly against Club America at the AT&T Park in San Francisco
