    • 90' FULL TIME. Arsenal win 2-1, never in doubt. Some positives for Arsene Wenger to take from this game ahead of their clash with Man City in Beijing on Friday - but those missed chances will concern him.
    • 90' You have to feel for Malaysia, who deserved a draw at least. But Arsenal have found a clinical edge late on here.
    • 89' GOAL! Arsenal have the lead through Aneke! Huge slice of luck for Arsenal as Aneke's low shot from the edge of the box takes a huge deflection and goes in for Arsenal's second.
    • 87' Eisfeld swings it in, but Malaysia hold firm.
    • 85' Arsenal probably deserve a draw, but they are pushing for a winner with back-to-back corners.
    • 84' GOAL! Eisfeld scores for Arsenal! It's classic Arsenal as Song picks out Walcott with a sweeping ball forward to Walcott, who cuts the ball back to Eisfeld to finish from close-range.
    • 82' What a run by Oxlade-Chamberlain. The England man drives past three players and into the box, but couldn't quite squeeze in a good shot. Wonderful play by the Ox.
    • 80' A long ball is chested down by Afobe, but he fires over. Should have kept that on target but intelligent running to find the shooting position by the striker.
    • 79' Arsenal sub: Eisfeld ON, Walcott OFF.
    • 77' Miyaichi causing problems again as he lays the ball back to Walcott, but the ball gets stuck under his feet and he can't get a shot away.
    • 75' Sali forces Mannone into another smart save low down after some lovely skill gets him away from Bartley. Great play by the man of the match so far.
    • 74' Miyaichi drives forward and picks out Walcott with a beautifully weighted pass, but the pass is crucially intercepted before the England winger can reach it
    • 73' Time running out for Arsenal here. Three or four big misses have cost Arsene Wenger's side so far.
    • 71' Bartley meets the ball but heads over.
    • 70' Arsenal still toiling for a leveller as Miyaichi cuts in from the left and strikes a low shot that is deflected out for a corner.
    • 68' Malaysia sub: Zambri ON, Talaha OFF
    • 67' Malaysia sub: Ahmad ON, Subramaniam OFF.
    • 65' Big miss by Afobe! The striker is put clean through but strikes a tame effort straight at the goalkeeper. Arsenal should at least be level by now, that was a big miss.
    • 63' Sali has been stretchered off. We'll have to see how serious the problem is, he'd be missed if he had to be replaced.
    • 61' Malaysia playing Arsenal at their own game here. Their short, sharp passes are opening Arsenal up time and time again.
    • 59' Good chance for 2-0, that. Arsenal looking shaky at the back.
    • 58' Right on cue as Malaysia open Arsenal up again. Sali gets behind the Arsenal defence and shifts the ball onto his right foot, but Mannone saves with his legs.
    • 56' Malaysia looking rather good when they go forward and more than capable of hitting Arsenal on the break.
    • 55' Arsenal hit the post! The Gunners win a free-kick in a good position on the left and it's quickly taken to release Afobe. The youngster puts the ball onto his right foot and strikes the base of the near post. Unlucky.
    • 53' Arsenal team in the second half: Mannone, Yennaris, Bartley, Miquel, Song, Aneke, Eastmond, Ryo, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott and Afobe.
    • 51' Robbat goes for goal from 30 yards and it's not a bad effort. The ball was arrowed towards the top corner but just drifts away, with Mannone scrambling.
    • 49' One of those introductions is Oxlade-Chamberlain, who skips clear of a challenge on the right and whips in a devilish cross, but Razali claims well.
    • 48' Arsenal have made a host of changes at the break. I'll bring you all the details in just a moment...
    • 46' SECOND HALF. Arsenal get the second period underway.
    • 45' HALF TIME. That wonder strike from Azmi Muslim is the last action of the half - but what a way to sign off a very entertaining 45 minutes. Malaysia lead Arsenal 1-0 at the break.
    • 45' GOAL! Malaysia have the lead! It's an absolute firecracker by Azmi Muslim. Driving forward down the left, he lets fly from all of 25 yards and the ball nestles neatly in the top corner. Fantastic strike.
    • 44' Diaby can't quite find Chamakh, who was in a good position. Arsenal just lacking a bit of sharpness, as you may expect at this time of year.
    • 42' Arsenal living dangerously at the moment. Good game for the neutral though!
    • 41' Chance for Malaysia! A chance at the other end as Sali finds space down the left and tries to beat Mannone at the near post. But the keeper pulls off a very good save low to his right.
    • 39' Huge miss by Santos! The Brazilian intercepts a terrible back pass - but can't beat the goalkeeper from 12 yards. Santos should have two goals to his name now.
    • 37' Santos finds Gibbs in the box and some neat footwork gets him into space - but Malaysia double up on him and hack the ball clear.
    • 36' Double Malaysia sub: Samah & Robbat ON, Akil & Shaari OFF
    • 34' Mannone is forced into action at the other end. The keeper throws himself to the left side of his goal to deny Md Akil, whose snapshot from the edge of the box was heading into the top corner.
    • 32' Perhaps Santos should go back to left-back.
    • 31' Big miss by Santos for Arsenal! Nice build-up again, but Santos fires wide when he should have slotted in.
    • 30' Rahim, Malaysia's number 11, has been their standout performer so far. The Cardiff City man has been very lively in attacking midfield.
    • 29' Rahim threads a beautiful throughball inside Gibbs, but Djourou is alert and sees out the danger.
    • 28' Arsenal keeping the ball competently enough, but it's almost ponderous when they get into attacking positions. A little more decisiveness needed by Arsenal.
    • 26' Arteta swings another one in, but Malaysia clear. You get the feeling that Arsenal will make the breakthrough if they're patient. Malaysia are at the end of their season, remember, and may be affected by fatigue.
    • 25' Arsenal survive the storm and win a corner of their own at the other end. End-to-end stuff here in Kuala Lumpur.
    • 23' Chance for Malaysia! Safiq Rahim goes direct for goal with the free-kick from 25 yards and it almost squeezes in... but Mannone scrambles across to turn it around it right post.
    • 22' Malaysia catch Arsenal cold on the counter and win a free-kick just outside the box to the left.
    • 21' But this time Razali claims the corner.
    • 20' Chance for Arsenal! Arteta's corner finds Chamakh attacking the ball at the near post, but Razali just about does enough to keep the ball out. Good by Arsenal, who have another corner.
    • 18' Diaby and Arteta linking really well. This time the Spaniard picks out Diaby in the box, and he forces another corner for Arsenal.
    • 17' Play stops for a moment as Diaby receives treatment.
    • 16' Chamakh lays the ball into Diaby's path, but the Frenchman is upended on the edge of the box with what I'll describe as a robust challenge.
    • 14' Jenkinson forces Mannone into a rushed clearance and Malaysia can come at Arsenal again.
    • 13' Malaysia enjoying a sustained period of possession, but they aren't doing very much with the ball. Arsenal comfortable.
    • 11' But that was a glimpse of the Arsenal we know.
    • 10' Diaby finds Gervinho racing into a dangerous position from the right. But space is tight in the box, and his touch just allows Razali to smother Gervinho.
    • 9' Gibbs gets forward and wins another corner for Arsenal, who are running the show as expected.
    • 8' Chance for Arsenal as Chamakh rolls off the last defender to find a shooting position. He takes the shot early, but his volley is turned around the post by Razali.
    • 7' Arsenal allow Akil to run at them and his low strike from 25 yards is gathered well by Mannone. Chance for Malaysia.
    • 6' MALAYSIA ALL-STARS line-up: Razali, Abdul Radzak, Azmi Muslim, Idlan Talaha, Mohd Sali, Shakir Shaari, Kunanlan, Md Akil, Umar, Safiq Rahim, Putra Omar. SUBS: Abu Samah, Amar Rohidan, Ashaari Shamsuddin, Bakhtiar, Che Mat, Fadhli Shas, Faizal Muhammad, Jasuli, Kuong Yong, Marlias, Mohd Ali, Muhymeen, Muslim Ahmad, Nazmi Faiz, Rahman, Subramaniam, Tajuddin.
    • 5' @LetsGoArsenal on Twitter: "I just wish Arsenal would flog RVP sooner rather than later. If this Carzorla deal goes through we will be a force." Tweet me here
    • 4' Arsenal playing an unfamiliar 4-3-3 formation, with Gervinho, Chamakh and Santos forming a three-man attack. Yes, Santos is playing as a striker.
    • 3' Arteta's corner causes some havoc in the Malaysia box - but the hosts eventually clear their lines.
    • 2' Arsenal clear their lines and Gervinho bursts down the left, winning a corner for Arsene Wenger's side. Positive start here.
    • 1' KICK OFF. Malaysia get us underway and immediately attack, winning a corner.
    • 14.40 ARSENAL XI: Mannone; Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Djourou, Gibbs; Diaby, Arteta, Coquelin; Santos, Gervinho, Chamakh. SUBS: Szczesny, Fabianski, Bartley, Miquel, Yennaris, Eastmond, Song, Eisfeld, Aneke, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ryo, Afobe.
    • 14.37 If you feel the urge to share something with me about the game, or perhaps your views on Arsenal's new signings or the Robin van Persie situation - then Tweet me here
    • 14.35 I'll be guiding you through all the action as Arsenal embark on their tour of Asia in Kuala Lumpur. Arsenal played a composite Malaysia XI last year, with the Londoners winning out 4-0 - the goals came from Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky and Carlos Vela on that occasion.

  7. Nico Yennaris is a top player at right back and even better in midfield and he bleeds Arsenal..This guy has the potential to be the best right back Arsenal has ever produced. I'm afraid Sagna might find it hard to win his place back if this guy gets at least 10 games under his belt in that position.
