    • 90'+2 The referee blows the whistle for the end of the match. Brendan Rodgers' first game in charge of Liverpool will be an encouraging one for Reds' supporters. Plenty of his squad got a run out, and there were some decent performances by his young players. It's finished Toronto FC 1 Liverpool 1.
    • 90'+2 Suso hits a shot from range which is well saved low to Roberts' left.
    • 90'+2 Lucas bursts forward and wins a corner for Liverpool. Last chance?
    • 90'+2 Cole attacks down the left and instead of taking on the defender, he lashes a wild cross out for a goal kick. A shame, given that he's had a solid 45 minutes.
    • 90'+1 They'll be 2 minutes of stoppage time.
    • 90' Shelvey launches the ball foward to Flanagan but loses the race against it.
    • 89' That resulted in a free kick and an oppotunity to deliver the ball into the box, but Cole wastes it and it's out for a goal kick.
    • 88' First yellow card of the game goes to Williams for a really poor tackle on Robinson.
    • 87' Liverpool, minus Sterling, have gone off the boil a little bit. Cole and Lucas keeping things ticking along.
    • 86' It's been a very enjoyable second half of football in Toronto, both sides have thrown plenty of men forward and played positively.
    • 85' Here goes Sterling again, and he's won a free kick on the left.
    • 84' Another change for Toronto sees goal scorer Amarikwa come off for Sciacchinto.
    • 83' Liverpool are patiently playing the ball around the midfield.
    • 81' Wiedeman comes close to grabbing the winner for Toronto after he's played through on goal, but his shot is straight at Gulacsi.
    • 80' Sterling tries more tricks on the left side and is brought down for a Liverpool free kick.
    • 79' Another change for Toronto, with Cordon coming on for Camargo.
    • 78' Liverpool probably just about look the more likely team to get the winner.
    • 77' Toronto change: Janniere on for Makubuya.
    • 76' Great ball in from Stinson for Toronto. Skrtel had to divert it behind for a corner, which doesn't come to anything.
    • 75' Lucas comes on for Liverpool. It's the midfielder's first appearance since December last year, after he suffered a cruciate ligament injury.
    • 74' Morgan is nearly in again for Liverpool, but Maund gets a crucial touch on the cross to save Toronto.
    • 73' Shelvey drives a shot with some ferocity but it hits the wall. It was going some though.
    • 72' Suso wins a free kick for Liverpool. Well in range for a shot on goal.
    • 71' This could go either way now. Very entertaining game.
    • 70' Fantastic play from Sterling, who keeps on justifying the hype around him.
    • 69' GOAL! Liverpool get the equaliser and although it's scored by Morgan, it was all about the build up play of Sterling. He beat several defenders, used his pace and dragged a shot across goal which is thumped into the empty net by Morgan. 1-1.
    • 68' Sterling nearly latches on to a long ball, and with Toronto goalkeeper Roberts charging out of his goal, the young Liverpool winger would have had an empty goal to aim at. Instead, the 'keeper has been bailed out by his defenders.
    • 67' Shelvey plays a fantastic long ball on to Morgan, but his first touch is poor.
    • 66' Brilliant skill from Suso. He drags the ball back, then checks back on himself, then drags it back as well. It opens up space to curl an effort on goal, but it's easily saved by Roberts. Encouraging though.
    • 65' Where do you think this game is going? Who's impressed you in particular? Get in touch on Twitter. @rich_newman
    • 64' Worth noting again these are now two young, inexperienced sides. Has little bearing on where the teams are in their development. Still encouraging to see both sides enjoying playing a passing game.
    • 63' The corner is flicked away before falling back to Stirling, but he loses possession.
    • 62' Adorjan does well on the right to earn a corner for Liverpool.
    • 61' Cole shows good skill on the right to win a throw for Liverpool.
    • 60' Liverpool pushing forward with a little more urgency now.
    • 59' Gulacsi will be disappointed he didn't hold on to that shot, the save was pushed back in the direction of Amarikwa.
    • 58' GOAL! Toronto take the lead! Amarikwa pounces on Gulacsi's spilling of a shot from distance, and he finished confidently.
    • 57' Joe Cole is playing in a central midfield role, slightly more withdrawn than we are perhaps used to seeing.
    • 56' Adorjan looks to be away on the left but play is pulled back for offside.
    • 55' Pasher, who came on for Toronto in the first half, has been very impressive at left back.
    • 54' Fairly even in the early stages of this second half.
    • 53' Lots of changes for Toronto too, here's their line-up: Roberts; Galle, Williams, Harden, Pasher; Janniere, Maund, Stinson, Wiedeman; Camargo, Amarikwa.
    • 52' Liverpool give the ball away in a dangerous position but they get away with i.
    • 51' Sterling and Suso combine well on the left, but without an end product. We'll be seeing more of them.
    • 50' Flanagan does well to get forward and cross on the right, but it's cleared by Toronto.
    • 49' It's got an odd feeling to the second half, with it feeling like we've started again due to the complete change of team.
    • 48' Corner comes in from Liverpool which is met by the head of Skrtel, but he doens't get a decent connection on it and the ball is back with Toronto.
    • 47' It's a far more inexperienced Liverpool side for the second half - with the exception of Joe Cole and Skrtel.
    • 46' We're underway in the second half.
    • 46' LIVERPOOL 2ND HALF: Gulacsi, Flanagan, Skrtel, Wilson, Robinson, Adorjan, Shelvey, Suso, Cole, Sterling, Morgan.
    • 45'+1 The half-time whistle blows and there's been little chances in Canada. Liverpool have dominated possession, and some of the younger players have impressed. We'll see a different 11 in the second half, details to follow.
    • 45'+1 Wisdom plays a dangerous looking cross from the right which is well defended by Toronto.
    • 45' Dunfield is played into the penalty area and manages to get a cross in, but it's claimed by Jones.
    • 44' The corner fails to create anything from it.
    • 43' Pacheco fires in a shot which is bravely blocked, the ball falls back to the Spaniard, and wins a corner.
    • 42' Adam's delivery from the free kick fails to beat the first man and is cleared away by Toronto.
    • 41' Ibe does well again on the right, he checks back but is taken out for Liverpool to win a free kick.
    • 40' Liverpool or Toronto fans, what do you make of the first half so far? Send your comments to me via Twitter: @rich_newman
    • 39' Ecclestone is played down the right side but the defender tracks him all the way.
    • 38' Frings still has the flowing long hair. He's playing well too, easily the best player in the Toronto side alongside Johnson.
    • 37' Pacheco gets free down the left, and bursts into the box, but instead of taking a shot he tries to pull the ball back - which is intercepted.
    • 36' Liverpool are playing nice one or two touch football, knocking the ball about with pace. It's easy on the eye, but with little end product so far.
    • 35' Toronto look keen to mount an attack, and Pasher does well down the right before Liverpool win the ball back.
    • 34' Great play from Enrique down the left, he then plays a one-two, gets the ball back and shoots towards goal. It looks like his attempt hits Dunfield on the hand, but no penalty is given.
    • 33' The early Rodgers effect: Liverpool have had 75% of the possession in the opening half hour.
    • 32' Johnson does well to play in Silva, but his cross goes out of play before it's gathered by Jones.
    • 31' Dunfield goes down in the Liverpool area claiming a penalty, but it never looked likely to be given.
    • 30' Sama is another young Liverpool player who's done well so far. Playing at centre-back alongsie the experienced Carragher.
    • 29' Chances have dried up in Canada, neither side are able to break through the defence.
    • 28' With Toronto playing their regular season, we may see more early substitutions for the MLS side.
    • 27' Early subsitition for Toronto, with Morgan replaced by Pasher.
    • 26' Pacheco does well on the left again, he speeds past a defender and his cross is gathered by Hall at the second time of asking.
    • 25' Ecclestone does well to put pressure on the Toronto defence, and forces the mistake, possession back with Liverpool.
    • 24' Ibe looks like he's fouled on the by-line, but the referee awards a goal-kick for Toronto instead.
    • 23' Worth nothing that Ibe, who's looked fearless, is just 16 years old. Even more impressive.
    • 22' Morgan tries a snap shot from outside the box but it scuffs off his boot and falls to Carragher.
    • 21' Enrique gives away possession to Silva, and Toronto will look to build an attack here.
    • 20' It's fairly even so far, but Liverpool look more likely to score.
    • 19' Charlie Adam plays a delightful long pass on to Ecclestone, but the ball doesn't drop right for him, and it's back with Toronto.
    • 18' Enrique plays himself into trouble when he takes too long to offload the ball, but Johnson can't get the cross to a team-mate.
    • 17' Ibe once again does well down the right, but the ball eventually ricochets off his arm and it's a free kick to Toronto.
    • 16' Liverpool are dominating possession at the moment, they look comfortable passing the ball around at pace.
    • 15' Ecclestone throws himself into Dunfield and concedes a free kick.
    • 14' Another player to make a bright start is Pacheco. He twists and turns his man and chips a cross in, but it's cut out by Hall in the Toronto goal.
    • 13' Adam's corner is easily headed away by Toronto.
    • 12' Ibe shows great pace down the right, takes on the defence and earns a corner. Impressive start from the young Liverpool winger.
    • 11' A long throw from Toronto goes straight through to Reds goalkeeper Jones.
    • 10' Big chance this pre-season or Aquilani, who's not had the best of times since joining the club. Rodgers says all players will get a chance to prove themselves - although for now, that doesn't look to be the same for Andy Carroll.
    • 9' Carragher's long ball foward is too loose, and possession is back with Toronto.
    • 8' Toronto's corner is cleared away by Liverpool and out of danger.
    • 7' Fantastic save by Jones for Liverpool. Frings plays a great pass forward and it's teed up for Johnson to shoot with space, but Jones tips the ball around the post.
    • 6' Both sides look like they'll attack this game. Could be a good spectacle.
    • 5' Ibe attacks down the right but he loses his footing, and with it possession of the ball.
    • 4' Wisdom, the young right back for Liverpool, seeing plenty of the ball in the early stages.
    • 3' Pacheco gets in a good cross for Liverpool which is blocked by Toronto - his second effort is a shot which goes wide.
