    • 90+1' Bayern Munich win the Audi Cup! Great effort from Manchester City who pushed them all the way, but they weren't helped by the referee who chose to award the hosts a dubious penalty for handball. Over and out.
    • 90' One minute of additional time... Weiser on for Lahm.
    • 89' Dzeko then heads the resulting corner over the bar. Actually it might have been Lahm. Either way, both players are clutching their heads.
    • 88' City do get a chance! And what a chance. Dzeko finds himself in between the Bayern defence but he hits his shot into the ground and Neuer can save.
    • 87' City still plugging away but Bayern have it in the corner...
    • 85' Fernandinho tries to get Dzeko on his way but Neuer comes off his line to claim.
    • 84' Navas ghosts down the right wing and dinks it to Milner at the back post. Unfortunately the linesman has indicated the ball went out of play on its journey into the area.
    • 83' Kompany bosses it at the back once more as he shifts it away from the prying Bayern shirts and calmly passes to a fellow defender.
    • 82' Big chance. Mandzukic's control is perfect inside the area as he shifts it onto his right foot before seeing his shot cannon against the post. So unlucky.
    • 81' Shaqiri tries to slip in Ribery but Kompany gets himself in between the Frenchman and the ball to clear.
    • 80' City looking ever so slightly jaded. Mark my words though, they'll have one more big chance. At least.
    • 79' Bayern corner is taken short to Lahm. He tries to find Mandzukic but the Croatian can't get there.
    • 78' Bayern carry the ball into the City half with van Buyten. The sides are taking it in turns to attack.
    • 77' Dzeko tries to get in behind but is flagged offside. Looked level.
    • 76' This is a brilliant football match. Quick tempo as both sides charge forward, disregarding their defensive duties. Great for the neutral; horrible for the managers.
    • 75' Shaqiri lashes one at goal. Solid stop from Pantilimon.
    • 74' What a turnaround. That's mainly down to the referee though.
    • 73' GOAL! Another cross is launched into the City box. Jerome Boateng is there, as is Mandzukic who stoops in ahead of his teammate to head home.
    • 72' It's so open as Bayern pour forward. Clichy heads Ribery's cross clear from under his own crossbar. Great defending.
    • 71' City come forward again. Navas tries to find Milner at the front post but it doesn't come off. Eden Dezko warming up. The Premier League runners-up want this!
    • 70' Mandzukic should dummy to Lahm... But he elects to take a touch. Their decision making when it matters has been poor tonight.
    • 69' Kompany heads behind for a Bayern corner... The hosts pressing again.
    • 68' Bayern back on the ball. The Allianz Arena is back to his noisy best. There are more goals in this providing the managers don't ruin it with substitutions.
    • 67' Nasri gets forward and almost creates another City chance. This Bayern defence is so shaky.
    • 66' GOAL! "Thomas Muller" booms out from the stadium announcer. Yep, the forward slotted home into the bottom right from 12 yards.
    • 65' Penalty to Bayern! Very, very harsh. Zabaleta gets his head to the ball but it flies up and catches his trailing arm. He's not even looking at the ball after it hits his head... It's so unfair on City.
    • 64' Xherdan Shaqiri has a go from distance but he doesn't catch it and it rolls through to the City keeper.
    • 63' The Allianz Arena is silent aside from a few raucous City fans who have made the trip.
    • 62' Now then Bayern. What have you got?
    • 61' GOAL! Boy has he had his chances but Negredo kept going and finally gets his goal. He outmuscles Martinez and fires in with his right foot under pressure. Great finish. 1-0 City. Based on the last 15 minutes, it's fully deserved. Based on the first half... Not so much.
    • 60' New man Jesus Navas weaves down the right and has a pop. Simple stop for Neuer.
    • 59' He's got a hole in his boot. The physio squeezes a weird juice through the gap. The midfielder is limping, and he's replaced by Rafinha. Looks like Lahm is back in midfield after having a stint there yesterday.
    • 58' Kroos is down clutching his foot...
    • 57' Lots of changes breaking up the play. It's a shame because the match is in danger of petering out if this continues.
    • 56' City are tearing apart this Bayern defence whenever they get a chance to attack it. It's no wonder Pep wants his men to keep the ball. They don't look good without it.
    • 55' Massive City chance! It's that man again, Mr Negredo. Nasri delivers a perfect cross onto his head but he nods straight at Neuer. Has to score.
    • 54' Much more even feel to this match now. Those chances on the stroke of half-time have given City belief.
    • 53' Fernandinho almost slices into his own goal but fortunately for the Brazilian it shoots over the bar for a corner.
    • 52' Nasri scores! But the flag shot up long before he slotted home. Sorry to get your hopes up, City fans.
    • 51' The Mexican wave that we saw in the third-placed playoff match has made a reappearance. Bit unfair from the crowd, this match is decent.
    • 50' Big chance for that City, who have started the half far better than they did the first.
    • 49' Clichy releases Nasri and the midfielder is in one-on-one. Neuer rushes off his line and foils the Frenchman's poked shot.
    • 48' Robben isn't that quick. A cross flies over everyone towards the Dutchman but even your finest Jamaican sprinters would struggle to hunt that down.
    • 47' Robben floats over to join Ribery on the left. The two try to force an opening but are met by a a line of blue shirts.
    • 46' The second half is up and running.
    • 45' Another City chance! This time the ball is delivered from the right and Negredo nods wide under pressure. For a man of his pricetag, he should do better. That's our lot from half number one. We resume in 15.
    • 44' Huge chance for City! Fernandinho finds Nasri on the left. The Frenchman whips in an inviting cross and Negredo obliges by getting his head to the ball. Saved by Neuer.
    • 43' Great chance for Negredo but he drags it wide when well placed. He's not looked comfortable out here tonight.
    • 42' The resulting free-kick is well defended before Lahm smashes over from the edge of the area.
    • 41' You're joking! Boyata has made the challenge of the tournament on Ribery but the referee has deemed it reckless.
    • 40' Muller leaps inside the area towards a hopeful punt into the box. He's not scoring from there.
    • 39' City finally allowed to pass the ball without the red sea closing in on them.
    • 38' Remember that City have a ridiculously stacked bench, so the longer this stays nil nil the more likely they are to win.
    • 37' Nasri leads a rare City break and finds Jovetic who worms his way along the Bayern box. They can't quite create an opening and it all ends with a wild Gael Clichy shot. Jovetic showed great skill there.
    • 36' Schweinsteiger then tumbles to the floor to win a free-kick but it's quickly put on the deck and normal service resumes.
    • 35' Kompany manages to clear for a Bayern corner which Schweinsteiger then nods over.
    • 34' City gather their shape again and Bayern are forced to slow the tempo whilst they suss out the blue shirts.
    • 33' Toni Kroos gets Ribery scampering down the wing. Instead of getting onto his right foot and having a shot at goal though, he drills the ball across goal with his left and can't find a teammate. Should have gone alone.
    • 32' But it's quickly back with Bayern as David Alaba tries to release Ribery down the left. Offside.
    • 31' Milner dinks a clever ball down the line to find Pablo Zabaleta. It's worked to Jovetic and shoots from the edge of the box... Just wide. Great effort. Much better from City.
    • 30' Lack of communication costs Bayern the chance to take the lead. Dante is in a great position at the back post but Javi Martinez fancies a goal and jumps in ahead of his teammate to steal the chance. The Spaniard was in a miles worse position there and should have left it...
    • 29' Classic Robben. The winger cuts inside onto his left foot, like he always does, and forces Pantilimon into a good low stop.
    • 28' This match is very similar to Bayern's match with Sao Paulo. Lots of German pressure but no end product.
    • 27' Schweinsteiger delivers a deft chip into the penalty area where Muller lurks. The German is unmarked... The flag shoots up as the header flies over the bar.
    • 26' Nasri carries City into the Bayern half. Alvaro Negredo makes a dart ahead of the Frenchman who proceeds to overhit his pass.
    • 25' Jeers ring out at the Allianz Arena as Muller concedes a free-kick for getting booted in the head. Rather odd decision.
    • 24' Big header clear from Boyata under pressure from Dante. Where does his clearance end up though? Yep, the ball's back with Bayern.
    • 23' Lahm gets in behind the City defence down the right and whips in a cross. Turned behind by skipper Vincent Kompany.
    • 22' Robben skips past Fernandinho but is eventually halted by a wall of blue shirts.
    • 21' Stevan Jovetic drops deep to get City going but they concede possession needlessly and Bayern are back in control.
    • 20' And another switch of play almost finds Robben on the other flank, but the ball just evades the Dutchman. City have survived the opening 20 minutes; now its time for them to assert themselves on this match.
    • 19' Ribery's picked out with a beautiful crossfield pass. He wins a throw deep inside the City half.
    • 18' Every City pass is being pursued by two or three red shirts. It's great to watch, especially given this is meant to be a mere friendly.
    • 17' Like Sao Paulo did yesterday, Man City are sitting off this Bayern side. Surely they need to get amongst the opposition?
    • 16' Robben lets fly from the edge of the area after cutting in from the left. A few fans lucky to avoid injury from that wild effort.
    • 15' "We shall not, we shall not be moved" rings out from the away end. Perhaps not, City fans, but the opening goal doesn't look like its heading your way at present. Plenty of time for them to grow into this clash of course though.
    • 14' Robben twists and turns down the right as the City players stand off him. The visitors can't have had much more than 20 touches.
    • 13' Ribery seeks out Muller with an ambitious ball over the top but he's overhit it. Needs to get that left peg of his warmed up before attempting passes of that nature.
    • 12' You can tell who the Bayern gaffa is just by watching them harry the opposition. This pressing game has Pep Guardiola stamped all over it.
    • 11' Ribery's corner is attacked by Schweinsteiger but he can't get much contact on it and the ball bobbles wide.
    • 10' Finally the team in sky blue start knocking it about. Well they did, but they've lost it again. Ribery ghosts past Boyata but the defender recovers to concede a corner.
    • 9' Not sure if City have mustered a touch in the Bayern half yet. Could be a long night.
    • 8' Robben gets the party-tricks out with a few stepovers in the box. Man City are inviting pressure with how they're set up - ridiculously deep.
    • 7' Robben is clattered by James Milner according to the man in the middle. Free-kick Bayern.
    • 6' Bayern spraying it around confidently at the back. New man Thiago tries to pick out Thomas Muller with a ping over the top, but it cannons off his foot into the stands...
    • 5' Philipp Lahm finds Ribery inside the area who lashes a ball across the face of goal. Almost finds Robben.
    • 4' Samir Nasri tries to get City going, but the Premier League runners-up look startled. It's all Bayern.
    • 3' Almost a very tasty start at the Allianz Arena. Bayern have settled really well - everyone wants the ball.
    • 2' What a ball from Arjen Robben! It's sprayed across the park to Franck Ribery who's in on goal. Great stop by Pantilimon.
    • 1' The main event: Bayern Munich vs. Manchester City is up and running.
    • 19:25 TEAMS - Bayern Munich: Neuer, Lahm, Martinez, Dante, Alaba, Schweinsteiger, Muller, Thiago, Robben, Ribery, Kroos. Manchester City: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Kompany, Boyata, Clichy, Milner, Fernandinho, Barry, Nasri, Jovetic, Negredo.
    • 19:20 City scored a month’s supply of goals inside 36 minutes against Milan in their semi-final, but fortunately we dipped into August today so their quota is reset. Bayern got all the glaring misses out the system against Sao Paulo, so we can look forward to a feast of attacking football and a constantly changing scoreboard.
    • 19:15 Sorry Sao Paulo and AC Milan fans, but this is the Audi Cup final we all wanted. Welcome to live coverage of Bayern Munich vs. Manchester City from the Allianz Arena. Expect goals.
